Don't even think of getting a device here. Did an upgrade and tech messed up SIM cards resulting in hours of extra work with Verizon tech support. The worst is deception in device credit. I was offered a new iPad for $250 with my phone upgrade ($100 instant deduction and $100 credit in 2 months). Verizon said this is not the case, there is only $100 instant credit. I'm stuck with a device I really don't want/need and horrible feeling of being deceived. NEVER again! read more

Roger and Jane offer the type of service I very much appreciate (that you often find lacking these days.) I found both of them to be very courteous , and more importantly genuinely friendly and authentic. I came in to buy a Verizon jet pack and they were immediately helpful in explaining the options. Their low pressure, friendly attitude resulted in me actually switching my cell phone from at&t to Verizon which I hadn't planned on doing. Talk about customer service! They blond girl that works there asks a customer that is next to me what her ssn is! To to mention how loud she asked, acc rise the hall. So I was there to make a payment and not only it takes 20 min to look up the account then he tells me it would a lot faster if I payed in cash. Really???? I thought it was 2014... Then I ask 2 question that none of them were able to answer then I asked about TV service they say it's with Comcast, so u would have to close my Comcast account the. I usually come to this store since it's closest to my house, and honestly service has only been so-so. This time, however, I had an awesome person named Sophia help me in upgrading. She let us know that our plan was a little dated and how we could save money by switching plans. She was very helpful and wasn't rude or condescending as some employees have been in the past. She said she works at this location on Wednesdays, so I'm definitely going to be coming on Wednesdays from now on!!! read more

AVOID AT ALL COST! Staff does NOT observe COVID-19 precautions. We entered store, which was empty, but could hear two employees talking casually about their personal lives in the back room while we waited for someone to help us. Someone came in after several minutes asking if we're being helped, we thought he was a customer because he had no mask on, was on a personal phone call and no name tag. After he informed the people in the back that there were customers he went behind the register to help us but we had to wait a couple of minutes for him to finish his personal call. After that he was incredibly rude and horribly unhelpful. It almost appeared as though he was the under the influence of something as he could barely coherently answer any of our questions. Some of the worst customer service we have ever experienced. As I stated at the beginning of this review, avoid this branch at all costs, unless you are looking for a headache and a waste of time. read more

Well....I walked into the Verizon store on LG Blvd already mad about the 3rd phone replacement in 5 weeks. Heads up people.....the refurbished iPhones they send you when your under warranty are not good.... All three of the ones I cycled through had issues. I had a nice gentleman named Martin that helped me out. He went above and beyond to make sure he got me what I needed. I spent at least 2.5 hours in that store. Martin remained calm, professional and really seemed to have my back. Poor guy even missed his lunch break to make sure I was taken care of. That is old fashioned care and service. I went to this store around OCT 15, 2013 to buy an LG G2 phone. It was OK they had to order it. But the sales guy, James, encountered a problem with his order entry software. I was in middle of the process when it occurred, so he asked me not to leave and come back since that would just cause more complexity. So I waited for at least 45 minutes until he could get the issue fixed. At the end, he apologized profusely. However, what makes this experience averse enough for me to write about is this. James did not have the grace to offer me a gift certificate for his wasting 45 minutes of my time, even after I hinted that would be appropriate. He got the sale, but it cost me substantial time and boredom as he struggled to learn his own system. This was low class customer service. I will not return there and in fact will use online sources for phones and accessories in future. read more

What a great experience I had at Verizon wireless at the above address. I called to ask some questions and spoke with a very knowledgeable girl named Chelsea. When I showed up at the store, she remembered that I called and addressed me by my name. Who does that anymore? I had a few minutes wait, and I watched her interact with the customer ahead of me. I remember thinking to myself how well she was trained by Verizon. She smiled, spoke intelligently, knew the product and explained various points with confidence. I was very impressed. Let me put it this way, because of Chelsea I had a pleasant wait. I'll sure be back, and I bet when I show up Chelsea will greet me with a welcome back smile. Last Sunday, the two service personnel on staff were so helpful. I came in desperate a little before noon trying to save a couple Snapchat video's. My loved one had passed away earlier in the week, and these were the last video's I had. I thought they were gone for good, but these two were able to find them quickly embedded in my albums. Terrible place - don't do business with them. I found out that they are a contract company (just like the kiosks at malls) and not Verizon. This company is actually Victra. They did a deceptive job of selling me a new phone and told me there would be no extra one-time or ongoing charges from Verizon. One day after Victra's return period expired, Verizon hit me with extra charges. I went to the Victra store that day and they told me it was because credits hadn't been applied with Verizon yet. Some credits did eventually get applied, but there was still $150 in charges from Verizon when they told me there would be none. Verizon customer support told me there was nothing they could do and I had to work with Victra for the return. There are two bad things going on here - Victra lied about or didn't tell me about the additional charges (I found out from Verizon customer support that Victra knew there would be Verizon charges) and Verizon's billings are posted 15 days after any transaction. If these guys would have told me about the additional charges, I wouldn't have bought stuff. If Verizon would have sent me notice about the extra charges within Victra's return period, I would have brought the stuff back. They (Victra) understand the problem with Verizon's delayed postings and charges, and Victra could have been a little flexible processing a return being one day outside of their 2 week return period. Verizon also told me that they and a lot of contractor retail stores have an extended 30 day return program, but apparently not this place. Now I am stuck with a more expensive plan and a 2 year contract that I can't get out of. They were very friendly when they were selling stuff, but have been 100% inflexible after the sale. Deceptive, horrible service. Do not go to this store. If you do, read everything you see very carefully twice. To add to their horrible service, they now claim that I owe them an early termination fee in addition to Verizon Wireless. I lost my phone in SF so I came in here to get a new iPhone. Austin helped me pick a new phone out. He was friendly and knew about all the specs of the phones I was considering between (iPhone SE vs iPhone 6). The only confusing part was when he said that there were three accessories that came with the phone, which I thought meant were free, but that he meant as they came with the phone in a bundle at a discounted price. He also took off the activation fee too. I came back a few days later to return the accessories and it went off without a hitch (except the screen protector because it was already attached). +5 for customer service -1 for confusing bundle issue read more

Apparently closed intermittently (at their discretion). Dropped by after checking their hours. Said they were open. Arrived and there is a piece of printer paper on the door that says "closed for lunch". It is currently 3:20pm on a Wednesday. There is someone inside playing on their phone. He looked right at me, then right back to his phone again. This is not the first poor encounter I've had here either, though, this one is the better of the few I've had. This place is crap. Husband and I spent quite some time with James and new hire (in training) getting a new iphone, arranging the desired coverage for that phone and updating our home phone billing (streamlining charges and service). James was very attentive and helpful. He conducted our service while helping additional customers who came in while we were there and was very efficient at navigating the billing dept. at Verizon on the phone. We left with every confidence in his ability to help us with any problem. He did not try to oversell anything and answered all our questions to our stisfaction. Too bad only the digruntled are so eager to complain on YELP. I'm sure many satisfied customers (there were 3 others in the store while we were there) are not as motivated. read more

I do not recommend using this location to shop for Verizon products. I brought my older daughter in to get a new phone over one year ago. On that day the sales clerk convinced me to purchase a second phone because I would get a two for one deal, making the second phone free. I did not need a second phone, but he convinced me that it was too good to pass up. I decided to go ahead and get the deal and I would give the second phone to my other daughter even though she did not need a new phone. The sales clerk knew that I already had an established Verizon account and when I asked if the deal was good for pre-existing Verizon customers he said absolutely. The refund would show up as a $35 credit on my Verizon bill every month for 2 years starting about 1 to 2 months after purchase. When I did not see the credit on my Verizon monthly bill after 2 months I called Verizon to find out why I was not seeing the credit for the phone deal. When the associate looked into my account/purchase she informed me that the deal that I mentioned was only for new customers not pre-existing Verizon customers. When I told her that the sales clerk told me otherwise and in fact sold me the phone knowing full well I had an account she told me there was really nothing she could do because my account was not valid for that offer. I have been getting the runaround ever since from the manager of this store and the regional manager for Verizon. Not only have they not refunded me my $840 back they are now ignoring my emails and calls. I work hard for my money and Verizon is a huge corporation. Their sales associate hard sold me something I didn't need based on a deal that I was not eligible for. I'm out $840 and the people that I am supposed to be getting service from are avoiding the situation and completely unprofessional. Not only would I never shop at this particular Verizon store again, I plan on reporting them to the better business bureau. read more

This has to be the worst location. The hours are constantly changing! And they are constantly closed during business hours. I've driven all the way over to this location just to find sticky notes on the doors saying they are on lunch. And the times I've been lucky enough to catch someone in the store - there's only ever one person working.. I know it's a small location but to only have one employee seems a bit odd. They need to figure out the hours at the place - for now I'll drive elsewhere. read more

Hook line and sinker! Totally thought the guys here were on the up and up but I was totally wrong! First, I came in to purchased a new iPhone X for a Christmas present but because they didn't have the one I wanted(, they said they have a 14 day guarantee/return policy and that I could get a different phone but exchange it for the one I want after Christmas. Well... That was an ordeal to make it happen! I came in after Christmas to get the phone exchanged and it only took FIVE (5) VISITS to the store before they finally got it right!!! Unbelievable!!! Secondly, I was told that I could get a new iPad for a discounted price because I bought an iPhone X. I took the bait and got the iPad. No mention of contacts or anything at that time. So I bought the iPad. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I get the phone bill. They turned on cellular data on the iPad and now say I'm stuck in a 2-year contract!!! Of course now, they say there's nothing they can do to help me. Pretty crappy and shady business practices here!!! Avoid this place and just go to a corporate Verizon store!!!! Never coming back here again and would recommend everyone else avoid this store! read more

Great and easy experience at this store. I have always hesitated going to the smaller VW stores, opting to drive further away to the corporately owned shop by Lawrence and Prospect. The drawback is that the corporate store is always crowded and you have to wait. We were under a time crunch and needed to replace a broken phone. Our experience was solid. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We received the help and got our new phone without hassle or spending time waiting. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes with everything we needed. The gentleman who helped us was great and easy going. This will be my go to store from now on and save me the driving and waiting time. read more

I went to buy a phone off contract and was told by the salesperson that this would not be a problem. In fact, she was the second person from this store to say that. After thinking about it in response to my saying I would buy the phone, however, she said that this would cause an unspecified inventory problem. She never explained why. I went to this store 2 weeks ago for help with high speed internet options. I met with James who showed me the new 4G LTE tower. I now have very fast internet speeds and the best part is that the tower is portable--take it in the car, or wherever we go. (Be mindful of kids watching movies in the car as that can quickly take a bite out of a data plan). Data plans are reasonable. James is very knowledgeable. I returned today with help adjusting the data usage--James was there--easy and painless. read more

The manager was more interested in turning on his country music - possible just dumped by his wife or girlfriend. When I pulled out my Samsung Galaxy Tablet to ask a question, he looked at it and said, "what's that?" I bought it from Verizon and he doesn't even know his own product. He then suggested I call Samsung...he demonstrated zero energy to try and serve me. Mind you, this was my third and same experience in that store. Three strikes, you're out! Best experience I've had at a Verizon store by far! As far as my previous experiences go, I have always been ripped off, overcharged and lied to. But this was a completely different story! I was helped by Roger and Daniel and their customer service was fantastic. They were very real with me and I didn't feel taken advantage of at all. I went in only to get help with my Samsung Galaxy S4 which decided it was not going to charge this morning and only continues to buzz when I plug a charger into it. I walked in only to be told by the sales guy that I would be surprised at how many people bring their dead phones in claiming they weren't charging but he was able to do so. I did mention, however, that I had tried three different chargers and phone still wasn't charging. Does he think I'm stupid? He proceeded to ask many questions and then handed me the phone number for the warranty service which I was told I needed to call and he could not help me. I was also informed that I should have purchased my device from a store, not VZ online. I asked what the difference was and if I would get a better deal in store, and was told, "Yeah, maybe." Long story short, the pompous sales person sent me out the door with a phone number, and yet no suggestions or help on how to better my situation. I quickly contacted VZ Customer Service online and was advised by Stephanie that regardless of where you purchase your device from, all VZ stores should be able to assist. My new device is being sent out today and my old iPhone has been activated until my new unit arrives. Thank you Stephanie! I definitely recommend not visiting this store! read more
