Love the concept! The food is really yummy, but portions seem to be so inconsistent and lacking for the sides! $12.50 for beef/ two sad sides is quite a bit and the mark up on the Mamachari Kombucha is a bit much! Ordering up front, but being cafeteria style is a little odd. I have a lot of food allergies and so it makes it tough to just pick two side options without asking questions or seeing what products they use. Yesterday's visit was a little odd, the lady working the front seemed so put out by my requests. When I had mentioned that the other staff members allowed my modifications, her tone became very questioning vs helpful and polite. I wanted so much to like this place because I had heard amazing things, but unfortunately I think I ordered the wrong thing. I ordered the ginger snap salad, which is totally up my ally and looked beautiful but the fish was way too fishy and the toppings and dressing were barely audible over the arugula. I would have given it a 2 for the fishy arugula salad, however, the salted caramel macaroon I had was perfect so I had to bump it up a star for that. I would definitely give this place another try and order something different next time but my experience was mediocre at best. read more

Fresh food, healthy and delicious. I'm obsessed with the Brussel sprouts. The local breadsticks are great too. I like the rice and the chicken. I eat here a lot and love everything I've tried. This is our favorite place in PC. The price, convenience, and delicious food is all top notch. Quick serve and go or stay and eat, you'll be happy either way. Hello! If I could give this 100 stars, I would. I'm not usually the type of person to write reviews or anything like that- actually this is my first review ever- i literally made an account so I could rave about this place. Anyway, I moved from Boston to Park City in August and I've always seen Vessel Kitchen and honestly I thought it was a kitchenware store- but then my friend told me that this guy he works with has a friend that works there and he said the food was really good. So I came in today around 6:15 and got the Beet Toast. I didn't really know what to expect but I love beets so I got it. I sat down and when I first saw it I couldn't believe how beautiful it was! I also don't usually take photos of what I eat but I had to. THEN I ATE IT... I literally have never tasted anything so good in my life. I told everyone about it. I still just can't believe how good it was- I had to let you know, whatever you're doing- it's working. I also love just how you're trying to change the whole perspective that fast food can only be bad for you- because it doesn't have to be! And you have showed that that's possible. I hope you keep the beet toast on the menu, because I'm now coming in every day to get it. Funny, I just had my second shot at trying this place, and looking through reviews here, I happen to have just had the same thing this yelper was having: "3 stars for a really nice, clean place and healthy food options. -2 for not-so-impressive food. I had the espresso beef with cauliflower and broccoli sides. All 3 items on my plate can do better. A little more taste and yumminess to the food" Admittedly, having only been twice, on the food (which is really the most important thing, isn't it?) I couldn't agree more; in fact, I'll go a step further, and say that this place is very overrated, as most of this stuff is quite bland. But the whole yuppie foodie thing is in full effect, here, though; Stewy, meaty, somewhat manly cafeteria entrees; hearty fare that would make any sleeve-tattooed, retro-metro, bearded fellow feel content... complimented by light, kale-y crudite / charred-but-chilled, lemon squeeze/olive oil-brushed sides, beets, salads, etc. that NEVER CHANGE OUT (hint) and could honestly use quite a bit improvement in flavor. The cafeteria-style setup is neat, except for having the lowest suggested tip option after going down the cafeteria counter and then swiping your card, to be 20%, with tipping options going upward from there... for cafeteria catering-- funny stuff!! Additionally, the silverware and condiment area of course features Sriracha (trendy- no surprise), Tapatio (nice surprise!), salt/pepper, and not much else. I found myself wishing there were more condiments, like soy sauce or Bragg's or Spike or something, to enhance the flavor of my food, which on both visits, needed quite a bit more taste. Yes, it's a nifty concept, and they do indeed have stuff you don't see everywhere, but it's just not really tasty enough to inspire third trip back for me. When, (and if) they change the cafeteria options at some point, I might come back and see if this place is any better, but for now; As I once heard emanating from a bearded face while dining somewhere: "No umami." read more

Vessel Kitchen was our favorite restaurant while on vacation in Park City. So many great menu choices, wish we had time to go back, or better yet, would love a Houston, TX location! I had the market plate with pulled pork, vietnamese summer slaw and chicken broth. Who else sells chicken broth as a side? It was amazing! There were so many other sides I wanted to try. SO good. We came here on a Sunday morning for brunch and were not disappointed. We ordered the French toast, the traditional bowl, the mountain bowl with bacon instead of braised beef, and two macarons (salted caramel and carrot cake). Everything came out fast and was delicious, despite a few missteps. My French toast was missing the shaved almonds and I had to go back up and ask for them. The mountain bowl and traditional bowl are different, the mountain bowl is $1.50 more and should include summer greens and an aioli. However, they ended up coming out exactly the same. We didn't correct them due to lack of time, but that was disappointed seeing as we paid more for the same exact dish. The macaroons were amazing, no complaints there. All in all I would definitely recommend for a unique, tasty brunch. read more

As a local, used to be a go-to for dinner/lunch multiple times per week. New menu, quality of food and prices have completely driven us away. Staff attitude and service has also declined. At these prices everything should be organic/non GMO/grass fed/pasture raised etc. read more

This place replaced FreeBirds and we had no idea what Vessel Kitchen was for the longest time. We thought it was a place where they sold expensive kitchen ware but we were in for a surprise when we stopped by one day. Food is really good, atmosphere is great with it's clean/open interior and service was good the first time (I think with the owner or manager but was ehh, not so great the 2nd time with one of the employees. He seemed a bit disgruntled or not happy). Anyway, I'm still coming back and I find the food at a very high quality especially the espresso beef, chicken little sandwich and the sides were all pretty good so far. The bread is from Red Bicycle which is always the best bread around. The only thing that knocks it down one star is the price is a bit pricey for what you get. It's about $10 for sandwiches and $12 for a combo meal. Compared to other restaurants here, it's still slightly pricey so compared to all other cities, it's very pricey. read more
