When Vessel opened I was SO excited that Park City would have a restaurant with vegan options. Unfortunately that has not been the case. Their herbivore selection is measly at most. If there are vegan entree options they generally include tofu....tofu is not the only plant based item to cook with. I have often asked when they will be carrying more vegan farm to table items. Not one person has listened and nothing has changed in the last year. Delicious healthy food at a reasonable price. I'm in love with this place. Just had the coffee braised beef with a side of amazing Brussels sprouts and Kim Chee. This place blew my mind. The gourmet quality of the food you get for your money here is absolutely insane. The sweet potato hash, the steak, mushroom risotto, even the Brussels sprouts! Don't order take out. 9/10 times they won't include all the items you paid for and then don't compensate you for the items they forgot. The manager said he would call me back never did. My husband, sister, and I tried Vessel Kitchen for the first time yesterday. None of us were impressed with our meals. Two "Lemon Feta Chicken Salads" and one "Good and Plenty". We were given a dusting of feta on both salads, and without the dressing, the salad was pretty flavorless. The Good and Plenty was very bland. Ingredients were fresh, but other reviews talked about the blandness and were right. Portions were not huge like I read too. Won't be going back, but glad we gave it a try. read more

Vessel is a delicious healthy counter service place in kimball junction. I think it opened a little over a year ago and is always jam packed with happy diners. This was undoubtedly my favorite place to eat at in Park City. Fast-food style assembly but really high quality ingredients and food. I ate twice here within a Span of one week,only because I discovered it too late in to my stay in the city. On my first visit I had the falafel plate, on my second the beef brisket. a great addition to good healthy food out at Kimball Junction... I had their traditional breakfast and it was very tasty, the banana bread is great and so was the oatmeal cookie! The decor is quite nice, bright white with blue tile and dark wood. It's a bit noisy but that's OK for causal fast dining. Cute little shop, ended up in here because every other restaurant had hour waits and i was starving. was not really expecting much and i ended up getting the custom plate with shredded chicken, mac n cheese and mint cucumber peas. The mint cucumber peas were pretty good while the mac n cheese was flat out bad and the shredded chicken was okay. The mac n cheese simply had 0 flavor. You don't taste cheese you don't taste anything your just biting into a wet noodle. I've been eating here since they first opened & I really loved the food & thought the portions were priced right. Was a bit sticker shocked to pay $16 for a protein and two sides. The portions have been reduced dramatically. I used to have enough left for leftovers the next day but not anymore. I'm not a big eater but what I ordered didn't fill me up. *The only reason for a 4 star is I've only been here once, don't want to give 5 stars right off the bat when I plan on going back.* My wife and I are in Park City quite often on Saturday and Sunday mornings, trail running, biking, etc. We've always just gone to Park City Coffee Roasters for a coffee and bagel/quiche/whatever else since there aren't many options open for healthy breakfast. As we pulled into the PC Coffee Roasters parking lot we saw the sign for Vessel, having had heard about them, we immediately detoured to Vessel to try it. Upon entering, the restaurant is very modern, clean, inviting and bright. It has a great atmosphere and vibe about the place. We were promptly greeted as we walked toward the front counter with a "Good morning." The menu has enough options to provide variety but is not overwhelming. A good mixture of dishes that apparently will rotate regularly with the seasons (one of my favorite attributes at a restaurant). We ordered the Honey Ricotta Toast, Sh-ahk-sh-uka bowl and two coffees. The coffee is from a local PC roaster, Pink Elephant, and I had never had their coffee before. It's fantastic! Great roast, not overly acidic but enough flavor to really get you going in the morning. Best part, big mugs and free refills. They have a cold brew option as well that I will be sure to try next visit. We were handed our coffees, motioned to the creamer/sugar station and then took a seat near one of the large windows looking west. There were a few other people in the restaurant but the atmosphere was quiet and cozy. We were soon greeted with our order and you could tell right away it was all made by hand with fresh ingredients. Honey Ricotta Toast: Peasant toast was thick, hearty, soft with enough chew to make it satisfying. Ricotta was high quality, thick, ricotta (not watery) and covered in raw honey (my favorite as it's thick and earthy). The Rosemary was an interesting touch but it brought out great flavor in the honey as well as complimented the ricotta well. Great dish. Shahkshuka bowl: Shahkshuka is one of my favorite dishes to make at home, so I was excited to try a slightly different spin on it. The eggs were poached PERFECTLY, firm whites with a nice thick runny yolk. The sauce was delicious as well, picante/pepper added to the tomato sauce added for a nice vibrant flavor and knocked some of the acidity of the tomatoes. It was very well balanced, a little spice (nothing overwhelming at all) and very tasty. The sourdough wedges that accompanied the dish were the perfect vessel for egg and sauce, I just wish there were a few more as my wife and I shared. All in all this is a great addition to the Kimball Junction area. My wife and I are ready to give Vessel another go with a few more items off the menu. They are much closer to a 5/5 than a 4/5 but need to give it a few more goes before committing to the 5! read more
