Been wanting to check out this spot for a while when I found out they had a location in Moynihan! Dropped by and got an egg sandwich, a chocolate bread and some focaccia. All three were good and sooooo filling. The first two were a bit dense, but I especially liked the focaccia which was light and full of flavor. Service was also very good and efficient.

Such a nice little bakery to grab a yummy bite in the Moniyhan Train Hall. All different types of treats. I love the croissants and mini quiches. I picked up a feta and mushroom quiche. So tasty. Staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable. Come check them out for a bite.

Nice little quick treat before taking the train. Easy access, good quality and yummy. Easy and quick service to grab and go. Coffee is good as well- recommend!

I'm currently sitting in seat 10A of this Amtrak train that is about to depart to Philadelphia, eating this delectable croissant from Vesuvio as messy as a bulldog eating a bowl of chili in hopes that no one will sit next to me. I was initially not going to eat after work, as I'm trying to be rockstar skinny, but Vesuvio was so chic and inviting in the middle of Moynihan train station that I couldn't help but cop a coffee and a croissant. After ringing up $5 for a butter croissant I felt I had been stabbed in the back, but eating this right now, I can assure you, it was worth it. Not too buttery and had great structure. No one has sat next to me yet either.... The to-go coffee cup was inspiringly beautiful. I know I probably sound like I'm being fake deep with that, but these small details make a huge difference. Coffee tastes fantastic too.......I will likely regret a cup of coffee this late, but my adrenal glands have been put through the absolute ringer these past few months, so I think I'll be ight. It's in gods hands. The big fella got me! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Surprisingly good coffee. We had a day trip to New York and on the way back wanted some coffee. So after much Yelping found this place, which was right at Moynihan Hall and close to Amtrak tracks. I ordered Mocha which was very great. It was strong, slightly on the sweeter side but a pinch of salt which balanced the flavors. Wife ordered Capaccino which was strong, really strong. Unlike Starbucks, the drinks came out hot and strong. We find Starbucks drinks very weak and so are always looking for newer places. Overall I would recommend this place for coffee.

I bought an almond croissant and it was hard and stale. No wonder the cashier could barely look me in the eye. What a waste of $6.75.

This used to be my favorite Italian bakery. I haven't been to this bakery in years like ten years…read moresince I was a teenager. Today I decided to make a special trip to go here to grab a few goodies. I forgot how small the place was and how low the ceilings were. That wasn't an issue though. The place was nice and cakes were stacked neatly. What was surprising to me is that they don't have any cookies laid in the front display. It's all placed in the back almost hidden. I was deeply disappointed with their cookie selection. It was deeply surprising that they don't sell the butter cookies that had jam in the middle and dipped with chocolate on one side with sprinkles. I did ask the clerk and even showed him a pic of what I was looking for and he said they never sold them. They only had the linzer cookies and they didn't look so good. They also did not have the lobster tail. They did have the sfogliatelle which they also called a lobster tail. I thought they were not the same? Some bakeries sell both and they are definitely not the same. I did end up buying one of their sfogliatelle with cream and some rugelachs. The sfogliatelle was good but the rugelachs tasted slightly underbaked. It did taste fresh though unlike many I've had in other bakeries. However, for $28 per pound, I wouldn't get it again. For those not having lobster tail and not having the Italian cookies, I will have to give Veniero's a low rating. I never thought an Italian bakery would not carry staples. Very disappointed. I need to find another Italian bakery now.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

I had never heard of the place before, but I was happy to give it a try -- and I'm so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the experience feels special. The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite. I will definitely be back for more cookies. This was such a wonderful find, and I'm so happy my coworker introduced me to this place!

I will say that I didn't think I would like this cookie at all since usually I like thinner crunchier cookies. But holy cow!! I was blown away by the crispy edges and the interior wasn't too soft gooey either. The chocolate and walnuts added to the cookie enhanced the flavor even more! For such a big cookie the middle was cooked perfectly. Very chunky and sizable cookie too so I ate it throughout the day rather than one sitting!!
