Then we moved over to face washing with a facial massage and face mask. Last step was the head washing which was amazing as well. Massage pressure was perfect. My girl was Vi and she was so nice and welcoming. She kept asking me if I was comfortable and if pressure was good. I came in totally tired and had so much shoulder pain from work. I left a brand new person. I felt like I got hours of rest back. This place doesn't have the halo which I rather prefer. The online reservations are very easy, and they have parking spaces in the back lot. We got the Platinum treatment and it was divine. Pure relaxation and bliss. Your chair reclines right into the sink, so it is not dangling like it sometimes does in a hair salon. There are multiple steps to the treatment, and even a clothed body massage. They blow dried our hair. They don't style it like a hairdresser, but they will dry and comb it out. It feels like the staff really cares about their service and treatment. I booked my appointment online and was able to get a spot on the same day. I booked their "Executive" service which includes a scalp massage, shampoo and conditioner, hot towel press, and a neck and shoulder massage. The staff was very friendly, and prompt to get the service started. Each service takes place behind a curtain in a sectioned off area that is dark and relaxing with soft music playing in the background. I was pleasantly surprised to be provided with a pillow and blanket as we prepared for the service. My technician was super kind, and checked in with me at various points throughout the service to see how I was feeling. It was really relaxing and she took her time to thoroughly massage my head, neck, and shoulders. She also shampooed my hair twice which I appreciated. I don't think I received the hot towel press as part of the service, as the towels were only used to dry off my hair. Finally, I asked for my hair to be blow dried and I thoughts I would be receiving a salon-like blow dry service however they just ran through my hair with a blow dryer. For that reason I do not think it is worth it to pay the extra $20 for a blow dry with each service unless you don't mind leaving with wet hair. Overall, the experience was great and relaxing. I have been wanting to try out a head spa for sometime, and given how expensive a lot of them are this was good for a more affordable service. I cannot speak for the experience with the greater tier services at this location, but I imagine that the more you pay at other places, the better quality it is. I'm writing this review to provide a heads-up for anyone considering spending $120 at this establishment. I visited with my two friends for our birthdays, and while our expectations might have differed from what they offer, I found the treatment to be essentially just a fancy hair wash. The person who performed my treatment barely gave me a scalp massage; instead, she vigorously scrubbed my head with her nails during shampooing -- like clawing at it--and roughly pulled on my hair while applying conditioner. I even noticed a clump of my hair that had been pulled out during this process. The neck massage felt amateurish. It was clear the person lacked proper training in massage techniques. The blow dry, which comes at an extra cost, left my hair looking frizzy and unkempt as if it had been washed and conditioned with low-quality products and then dried to crisp with no product. On the plus side, the place was very clean. Their website reservation system and check in process was flawless. The people were friendly. Like I said, it could be the person I had for the service. While my experience was disappointing, my friends found theirs to be decent but not exceptional. their experiences were not as negative as mine. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place, especially considering the high price tag, for anyone looking to make their special day truly memorable. I came here on a Sunday evening after a long week of work and it was sooo worth it. I had the platinum service with blow dry. I was assigned to Kim and she greeted me and within 3 minutes of arriving i was already in a chair ready to start my service. She first started with an Aragon oil head massage and then did a beck and shoulder massage. Then she washed my hair and put a deep conditioner. She then put this wrap around my hair that lets steam inside to help the deep conditioner work its magic. Meanwhile i also got a face mask and arm massage. Then she removed the face mask and head wrap and finished washing my hair. I then got another neck and shoulder massage and then we went to the chair for a blow dry. I was so so impressed with this service. The massage was incredible and Kim was amazing!! She made sure i was comfortable and that the pressure was okay for the massage. Head spas are the new trend lately and I'm a little obsessed because who goes and get their hair washed back to back? Me, of course. The day before I did go to another establishment and actually it helps me rate this place. Making reservations online is super easy and you can even pay online and add tip already. I do like how they take credit card. They even have v head space cash where you will pay $190 for a $200 value. I booked a head spa day for my friend and I and it was blissful. Because playing with my hair is a fabulous way to relax. It was perfect too because we were together in the section where they do the wash. They are maybe 8 or 10 chairs in the establishment. I do appreciate they try and really close the curtains to try and make it dark but for some reason the sound does resonate throughout. Like the blow dryers (yes the area is small) Maybe they can play relaxation music? But they actually do have ear plugs. We did the platinum option which is 75 mins. They started dry scrubbing and massaging. The shampoo was wonderful and they used a tea tree oil base that smelled wonderful and felt refreshing. They scrubbed multiple times and did a neck massage and washed twice. They did an oil treatment and then steamed the hair. During that time they massaged the shoulders and arms. And they did a short facial massage, wash and a molding mask. And they finished with a stronger neck and trapezius massage and a little cup of water. I didn't opt for the blow dry because my hair is wavy but my friend said they did some styling with a round brush to her ends. If you don't choose to have a blow dry it is $20 cheaper. Overall it was wonderful and maybe a little better than the other place I went to. I liked the shampoo here. The massage was a bit firmer and I kind of liked the steamer. Maybe another suggestion is a heated pack on the stomach. They did put a pillow under the knees and a blanket. Wear a type top or a top that is easy to pull the straps down. They don't offer a towel or cover to take off your top. They give text reminders and good directions where to park (lot is in the back) and where to enter. read more

Overall, the experience was fine. I really wished they had explained walking in what the process was. You walk into a room with a curtain and we went into the process. The head spa aspect of it as a massage of the head. If you have never had a head massage that was maybe a 4/5, that is a heads up that it was consist of. Then you jump into with a wash with what I imagine is shampoo/conditioner. Then the facial wash more of a cleanser and mask. They didn't start with removing makeup so recommend coming in with no makeup. Then you jump into at the end a shoulder/back massage. Then end with a blow dry. For the blow dry, I was VERY surprised my hair was able to be blow dried in 15 mins but it was. Parking is directly in the back. I saw my friend raving about a scalp massage on social media, so I decided to look for some around my area. I found Vhead Spa on Yelp. They have a website where you can book your reservation, which made things easier. It took a while to find parking as the roads were blocked off due to construction, so I was running late. As soon as I arrived, Vin greeted me and directed me to my station. I've noticed that the stations were sectioned off by long and dark curtains. The environment was soothing and relaxing. It was dark, quiet, and modern. I came on a weekday around noon so maybe that's why it was quiet. Vin immediately had me place my belongings in the basket and then lay down. I got "The Treat." We started with the head/scalp massage with aromatherapy, then to washing my face. I was very anxious with the face washing as water got in my nose and it burned. Then she placed a very hot towel on my face, which felt nice. The next step was the mask. While the mask hardened, she proceeded to wash my hair. Everything smelled really good. After the hair washing, she pealed off my mask and proceeded to massage my neck, chest, and arms. This was probably the best part and was so relaxing. The blow dry was nice as she tried to style my hair. Overall it was good, but not great. Maybe they can invest in other technologies like the head water fountain or the handheld scalp massager. A truly wonderful time! From start to finish, I had a great experience with Vheadspa. I received a gift certificate for Vheadspa for my bridal shower and redeemed it online. I wanted to pamper my husband as well so I booked an appointment for him using the website. Easy peasy! We were both booked for a 10am appointment on a Monday. The weekend before our appointment, we received reminders. The evening before, we received a text with instructions. The person who texted me was very nice and I mentioned that we were celebrating. She told me to request Mai and to have my then fiance request Jenny or Kathy. My husband and I were also able to sit together while we received our services. Mai ended up being my specialist and Jenny ended up being his. They were both amazing! Mai was so sweet and SO strong. She was great at creating a relaxing environment and I loved how she talked me through some of the transitions. I would describe the experience as half an upper body massage and half a deep wash of the hair/facial. I loved the different areas that were massaged from my scalp to my shoulders to my arms. So relaxing! Fastest 90 minutes of my life. After my blowout, my hair felt so soft and so light. It was beautiful! As other reviews have mentioned, it is definitely best to wear a strapless shirt or bandeau. It was chilly in there, but they give you pillows and a blanket so you will definitely be cozy. And to leave a client whos willing to already pay for $125 leaving your salon looking like a wet dog is beyond me. Yes, some of you will probably say : well, you're already spending $125. Whats another $20? But for me, its the principal. ( YOU GET WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY?) As for the experience, it was at most average. Nothing i couldnt get elsewhere. I didnt feel like they did a good job of the "hair wash/massage" but seems more like an overpriced massage service that just happened to include a hair washing. I would have paid much less going elsewhere for a good one hour facial and another hair massage place thats about 1/3 of the price. Not sure if 4 stars is fair since I didn't do my research on this place (my friend had booked it for us). This place was super small, and the seats were not divided by curtains so it was kind of awkward when I was awake for some portions. I will say it was still a good head massage (depending who you get) but I thought it was going to be one of those places where you get your scalp examined by a microscope and they offer you a treatment. This is more of like a massage envy meets head spa. They just wash your hair like normal and blow dry it for an extra price. This was my first headspa experience! I opted for the Pampering which was 60 minutes (scalp cleanse, facial massage, collagen mask and neck/shoulder massage). I did have to wait a bit before my appointment because the front desk was settling an issue with a previous customer. Even though this was my first headspa, I have had plenty of facials and massages in the past and the scalp/shoulder massage was pretty mediocre. I DID NOT enjoy the facial massage. After putting the cleanser on, she used the hose to wash my face. Water splashed everywhere, getting into my ears and I was uncomfortable. Instead of sensing my discomfort and stopping altogether, the woman encouraged me to sit still so that she could finish rinsing my face. I couldn't. She then asked me "So, what do you want me to do?" We spoke in Vietnamese and her tone wasn't sympathetic but rather annoyed. I suggested getting a damp towel or sponge to wipe the cleanser off (similar to what other estheticians do). Ignoring my suggestions, she took a dry tissue and wiped my cleanser off. Blow drying seemed very rushed because it seemed like I was the last customer before their break. I really wanted this to be a good headspa experience but this wasn't it. For the owner/manager reading, if rinsing the customer's face via sink hose is the only way - then that's your choice. I would suggest adding a reasonable alternative for those who are uncomfortable and cannot deal with that particular sensation. And of course, a more tuned-in and understanding approach to sensing when someone is uncomfortable. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this headspa. read more

I do not remember who the user was (or else I would have mentioned her in some way in this Yelp), but as I was aimlessly scrolling through social media figuring out what to do in Orange County, I am glad I booked my appointment here, at Vheadspa. First of all, booking an appointment is easy. I did it on my phone. Not only is the menu of services easily accessible, but when booking the appointment you can easily select the service and the open slots available. For first-timers, you may want to opt to pay in person (like I did) and then pay online (like I will) for future appointments. When your service is done, you may have to wait for a short while (less than 10 minutes) for your turn to pay. I went with the 75 minutes Platinum Package because, as the site suggests, "Get Pampered, you deserve it! (with blow-dry)" and I absolute did deserve it. I work hard! And so, upon arrival, park in the suggested parking lot as stated on the website. There is no entrance from the parking lot so walk around the building to the front entrance. Upon entering through the front, you will be greeted and asked to sit. I do not know if this is common, but I wasn't asked for my name, they simply knew I was there for my appointment. It was a bit of concern at first, so I recommend you inform them of your name, appointment time, and service. There were a few of us that entered, so based on that, I assume this knowledge was based on their process of elimination. You sit in a fun little seating area, and everyone is so quiet. Based on my observation, the proper etiquette is to whisper. Then, I was called to enter behind the curtain. I was greeted, seated, and when I laid back on the seat, I was told the step-by-step process of my 75 minutes. I asked her to repeat it again and she kindly did. I was also informed that if, at anytime, I felt a massage was too deep or if I felt uncomfortable, to inform her so she can adjust. I respect the thoughtfulness and professionalism of her approach, so thank you. Then the light was dimmed, the room was lit by the black light frames, and we begin. My 1 hour and 30 minutes was dedicated to my head and shoulders. My hair was washed with a light stream hair treatment. It was followed by a deep scalp massage and deep-cleansing. I got my nice facial massage and a face mask that felt like it peeled the years of dirt and age away. Throughout, I received an appreciated arm, neck and shoulder massage. Lastly, a blow dry. If the hot oil treatment was given to me then it must have been massaged in or during my facial, can't really tell you, but I still love my results. Here I am 3 days later and my hair and scalp still feel great, and it is hot out there, folks! I did hesitate to wash my hair on Day 2, and then my boyfriend dunked me in the pool and I screamed "My hair!" But may hair is fine. My scalp is fine. I did a regular hair wash today, no blow-dry, and my hair dried naturally. I still feel great about it. The customers that arrived before me spoke highly about how they felt. First time ever receiving a scalp massage and cleansing this in depth. If you carry lots of tension in your face and upper part of your body, this service would be a great self-care benefit. I removed my top and shoes since they were slip on. (I definitely recommend wearing a strapless bra or bandeau so they can easily massage your shoulders and neck). They cover you with a blanket and place a bolster pillow under your knees. I let my gal know that I had a little bit of foundation and mascara on and she was able to remove no problem! I have seen reviews about VHeadSpa for a while and I finally had the chance to stop by. I made my reservation online for the Platinum treatment ($95) and was lucky enough to get in with chi Nguyet, her English name is Luna. As chi Nguyet would describe this, VHeadSpa is a Vietnamese style head spa but even better with the technological influences of Japan and spa influences of America. As pandemic precaution, they are limiting spa guest attendance and the spa is sectioned off. You can make reservations with your group or in my case I had my own section to myself. The equipment was very advanced and their spa chairs were very comfortable. We transitioned between things seamlessly. We start off the service with some good old aromatherapy and you get a scalp massage with aroma oil. Chi Nguyet's hand movements and were precise and relaxing. Afterwards there is a deep hair wash and conditioner with tea tree oil products. Both the shampoo and conditioner steps were massaged into your scalp and hair. Then she applied a hair mask when hooks my head up to the steaming equipment. This is proven to help promote scalp health and circulation. During this step, a collagen mask was applied to my face and I received nice arm massages while my head was steaming and my face was masking. Then when all of that was done, she washed my hair again, applied a towel, and gave a nice neck and shoulder massage. I was completely pampered and half sleepy as chi Nguyet welcomes me over to the blow dry section where she gave me a nice blow dry. I was super fresh and cute for the day. My scalp and hair was so healthy after the platinum treatment and I felt so relaxed. I came here and had the platinum service. I did enjoy the service and found it relaxing. However, there were a few things I wasn't thrilled about. My mom had the same service as myself and the woman who did mine had me remove my shirt but the woman who did my moms did not have her remove hers. So I felt my mom did not have the same effect per say. We both had upper body massages so how was it possible for her to get the full affect with a shirt on? Seemed lazy. That was a little frustrating on my end. I didn't notice because she was seated after me. Also, during my wash, my whole face was splashed multiple times which had to be cleaned up. Not the worse thing but def doesn't happen in a normal salon. Eh I'm not picky but if you are it's a note. I did enjoy the dandruff treatment which was helpful but I also feel might have triggered the dryness a bit as I felt a little inflamed a few days later. Upon walking in the place is cute and clean. Love the vibe. Loved everything except that they didn't condition my hair well. I have curly hair and you just can't intensely deep wash a scalp without some sort of deep conditioning for the hair. I left with crunchy dried out hair :( But my scalp feels amazing! lol read more

I got a same day appointment online. Be mindful the blow dry isn't a blow out. It's a head massage not a Drybar, and you will NOT get your hair styled. I will still return because the scalp massage and shampoo was amazing. Five read more
