The Platinum service includes: - Organic oil scalp detoxifying and massage with aroma therapy - Invigorating hair shampoo and conditioner experience with tea tree-infused products - Unique MICRO-STEAM MIST hair treatment - Hair hot-oil treatment - Facial massage - Collagen molding face mask - Arm, neck & shoulder massage ~~~~~ First Impression: Parking is located in the rear and there are two entrances (Front at Garden Grove Blvd; Rear entering through door 8671). Once you arrive at your time slot, your assigned masseuse will get you situated in your chair almost pronto. Each section behind the curtain is split into two chairs. Chances of getting situated with someone else on a busy day are likely, unless you come in pairs. My first visit by myself was on a weekday, so lucky for me I had a section to myself. You will be given a basket to store your personal items/clothes and then your masseuse will guide you to the chair. She will manipulate the chair to lie you down in an attempt to get you comfortable, providing you with a blanket and a pillow beneath the knees. Then immediately without much talking included (which I honestly don't mind), your masseuse begins the pampering. ~~~~~ Service: On both visits I had two different ladies service me and both of them were wonderful, unique, and full of strength! For the life of me, I forget their names, but they were so sweet and my goodness their hands worked my head, face, neck, shoulders, and arms with the perfect intensity I felt reborn after the session ended. In the midst of the Platinum service, sometime after the Steam hair treatment, the masseuse will adjust the chair semi-upright and provide you with a cup of water, and I would like to say how much I appreciate that gesture. Then the Platinum service concludes with an intense neck and shoulder massage while being semi-upright and if you choose the blow-dry option, they will blow dry your hair right after. ~~~~~ Advice/Miscellaneous: - Appointment is a must - Don't come with full-face makeup; Lash extensions may not tolerate the session as for the Platinum service involves a hot towel covering the face for some time. - I highly advise wearing a tube top, to make room for the neck and shoulder massages. - In the beginning of your appointment, you may still hear blow-drying from a previous timeslot. Went with a girlfriend and got the platinum service. It was going well until the lady got a chunk of my hair stuck in the blow dryer and fried / tangled my hair. I ended up having to cut a chunk of my hair off. They tried to act like nothing happened and sent me home. I knew something happened bc i can hear and feel her pulling and ripping my hairs off panicking but I couldn't see because there were no mirrors - I asked multiple times if everything was okay and she just kept saying sorry. Eventually another girl had to come and help her finish blow drying my hair. I thought everything was fixed but I found the burnt chunk when i got home and when I called back, they confirmed that she burned/ fried/tangled my hair with the blow dryer! This was a fantastic experience! Our party of 3 had booked an appointment as part of a birthday gift/celebration. We came in on a Friday afternoon and we were attended to immediately. We each had a woman assisting us, and the head massage and treatments were out-of-this-world relaxing. The neck and shoulder massage were EXACTLY what I needed! The hair treatment was wonderful, and despite having thicker hair than my friends, the woman assisting me took the extra time at the end to dry my hair properly. The ambiance is quiet and calm. The only downside is that their neighbors are doing construction and so you can sometimes hear the commotion from next door. The shop itself is on the small side. You wouldn't be able to accommodate a large party, and you'll want to book an appointment to ensure you'll be seen. I called a few days before to book an appointment. I booked the 45 min service and the booking process on the phone required a credit card number. During booking I asked specifically if they knew how to work with curly hair and if I could bring my own products. They said yes to both and I was excited. Once we got in there was no explanation of what to do/what the experience would be like. I was guided to a chair, asked to take my shirt off and sit down. Then I was covered with a blanket. The chairs aren't really Separated so you are next to other people getting the same treatment. The wash and massage was a little rough, but overall felt nice. The wash was too long for curly hair, since my hair is already dry leaving the shampoo for longer than a few minutes really dried out my hair. I brought a deep conditioner with me as well and that was barely used. I could tell based on how dry my hair was and how it smelled. At this point I could tell they had lied about working with curly hair. The end of the service towel dried my hair and then they started combing my hair top to bottom which you don't do for curly hair either. I told the lady that this wasn't the right way to deal with curly hair, it was making it tangle and tear out. I also told her she should have combed my hair when the conditioner was in it, she completely ignored me and kept yanking the comb through my hair. This was supposed to be a calm, relaxing environment, BUT it wasn't bc of the service. At this point, we're done. I'm ready to pay. This is a small business that is setting their own price points. I paid $85 for a 45 min treatment. This is already a steep price, and at check out the lady helping me refused to process my card unless I added tip on. I let her know that I paid a lot for service and wasn't required to tip, I just wanted to pay and be done. At this point she starts yelling at me and saying that I have to tip. She wouldn't let me leave until I added a tip. Another employee had to get involved to calm the situation and tell her tip was not required. It was such a bad vibe, bad service, and I walked out of there with the driest hair I've ever had. Note to the manager and employees- if you want people to tip, yelling at them isn't the way to make it happen. To the owner, if you're charging this much but not paying your employees well that's messed up and shame on you! For my curly haired girls, I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I will be spending an hour today deep conditioning and doing a hair mask to reverse the damage caused from yesterday's treatment. read more

This was a wonderful experience! And though I give it 5 stars for my experience I do have a few pointers for those coming that can get the best experience as well! In Asia it seems like "hair washing" is a common form of spa treatment and I received a deep washing in China when I visited a few years ago. I've been thinking about that hair wash and was suprised to find a similar service/experince here in OC. Safiya Nygaard's video on youtube led me to find this place instead of going to a place in LA. I did the 60 minute session and went in knowing I was going to get my hair deep washed. When booking an appointment online, there are a lot of different add ons. Such as combing dandruff (which i was going to do but skipped out alst minute) , extra facial options, and blowdrying, styling options. In my opinion, I would skip all these bells and whistles. Maybe would consider an additional facial add on, but my second time around I would just do what the package offers. ( will explain more in a bit) They took me behind the curtain and sat me down, reclined me, brought me a blanket and proceeded to tuck me in. I was like omg, are you trying to make me relax and go to sleep?! Spoiler, i did fall asleep at one point. The experience was super nice, the hair washing felt nice, the facial felt nice as well. And they also massaged your arm and shoulders. TIP* wear a top thats not too constrained at the neck, it makes it awkward for them to massage you through your shirt. Learned it the hard way haha It was SUCH a great 60 minutes. I felt so relaxed and clean! afterwards they led meout and did a blow dry (which I paid as an add on). This is where I'm like mehh and could live without the blow drying. I thought I was getting a blow out, but it was just a normal blow dry session that I could do myself at home. My hair felt kind of brittle and dry at the end. They only sprayed on what seems like Aussie heat protectant spray (which im not a big fan of. my scalp is sensitive and it does cause my scalp to dandruff, which was why i came to get rid of this session). I wish they did invest in some nicer brands for the blow out or even consider putting a few drops of argan oil at the end to smooth out the ends and make things feel nicer. Olaplex maybe?? I would def pay to have someone put that on me haha So overall, I loved the service. Super relaxing and felt super clean. I loved it that I bought the 5 visit package. Again, I think I can do without the bells and whistles. I'd rather blowdry my own hair at a cool setting and oil my hair so its not dry. And if I wanted a full facial I'd rather go to a specialized esthetician. But the hair wash? 10/10 would come back read more

I REALLY wanted to love my service today, it was just hard to. I had the 75 min Platinum service today. PROS. Someone washing/massaging my scalp. Relaxing environment, I didn't mind the blow dryer noise, warm blanket, loved the chair laying completely flat, scalp massage was soothing and I felt I had a deep scrub, loved the steam and aroma therapy. CONS. Using VERY low quality products, Head & Shoulders, and some tea tree shampoo. I basically paying over $100 with tip for this service with no blow dry, I just would like to see better salon quality products being used, especially the facial products, I felt overly oily when I was finished. My technician was EXTREMELY heavy handed when it came to other massage (neck and shoulder, hand and arm, and lots of pounding, which I didn't understand why sitting me up to pound the back of my neck was necessary) I did ask for her to be softer but it only lightened slightly. My neck and shoulder are a bit sore a few hours later. Overall I love the concept, I just wish it was a slightly more high end experience for the price, and more relaxing. read more

Really wanted to love this place. I've been looking forward to taking my friend here for months. After dropping almost $400 for us both, I left disappointed and with a headache. Great concept, poor execution. Arrived and waited 10 minutes or so. No big deal. Then, the construction in the same room began. Drilling non stop for about 45 minutes. I came to relax in a spa, not listen to a non stop drill. Made me feel like I was in a dentist's office. I don't understand why you would choose to have construction done when customers are present. The ladies that helped me were all very sweet but experience was lacking. I had to ask for water to be hotter several times, not sure they could understand me. Cold water on my head in an AC blasted room is not relaxing to me. The head massage in the beginning just felt like my head was being scraped. It was just really hard to enjoy the experience with drilling and having to pay full price. I was offered 10 min massage and some mask for next time because of the noise. No thanks. She wasn't gentle at all, which is what you would expect from a spa. Nothing felt nice or relaxing. My friend also noted seeing the products used on your hair were products you can buy at Target or a regular department store. At the end during the hair blow dry, the masseuse didn't know how to dry my bangs properly too, I looked terrible at the end (I understand that the service is just a blow dry, not styling, but still...) Everything about the experience wasn't worth what we paid. The only good thing was the staff was indeed nice and friendly, and offered water at the end. I've been wanting to come to a head spa for the longest time after seeing these super relaxing videos all over TikTok of head/hair treatments that were usually in Japan or Korea. I know there is one in LA too but was pleasantly surprised to see this head spa was located not far from me! I booked the 75 min platinum without blow dry. I arrived and parked behind the building where there was ample free parking. I walked to the front and entered the spa. There was a big black curtain on the left hand side covering part of the business and the cashier + couch area to wait. It was very quiet with just peaceful music playing in the background. The ambience is simple but very serene - little details like white orchids and mints on the table. Someone came out to greet me by name to confirm I was here for my appointment, and then led me inside the curtains. Inside the curtains were about 8 chairs + sinks and every 2 chairs there was a tied up curtain. So they could led down the curtain for more privacy but on my visit it was up. I didn't find this to be bothersome because everyone was so quiet that if I hadn't walked in and seen everyone lying down I wouldn't have known there were other people in the room with me. Even after service, everyone is very cognizant of their surroundings and whisper which I really appreciated. My masseuse was Mai, and as soon as I went to my chair she took my things and put it in a basket. I was asked to lie down, and she reclined me to be fully horizontal. She asked me if I wanted my boots off and removed them for me, so I RECOMMEND WEARING SOCKS if you plan on doing this so your bare feet aren't dangling. She asked if I was comfortable.. so sweet. Once I was reclined and boots off, she went right into massaging my head and neck. It was sooo relaxing, the good kind of peaceful massage, not the painful kind. She did that for a while, then we went into the hair wash + massaging while washing. She also put lotions/treatment (I couldn't tell) on my face and then washed it off. After, she put a treatment in my hair and then covered my hair with this bag with steam and then a warm towel on my face (ngl I was kinda hot during this part but it was only for like 2 min and then she removed the towel on my face) Then, she painted a face mask on me which was cold and felt soooo good. While that was drying, she went to my arms + shoulder area. FOR THIS I RECOMMEND A LOOSE FITTING SHIRT so she can access your arms + inside your shirt above your chest. Then, she removed the bag cover thing on my head, rinsed my hair, and wrapped it in a towel. Then, she removed the mask and did a roller on my face for a few moments. Then I was sat up, where she finished off with a shoulder/bag massage which was sooo nice. At the end, I opted not do the blow dry. She said I could blow dry myself without extra cost but I preferred to just air dry on the way home, so I paid and left. Mai was so detailed and sweet. I will try to book with her again when I return. This whole service was extremely thorough from beginning to end - I actually couldn't stop smiling and felt so lame! But it was seriously the most relaxed I've felt in a while and definitely what I was looking for in a head spa service. I will be back and will be recommending it to friends! My suggestion is to wear a tank top or open shoulder top so they can properly massage your neck and shoulders. I made reservations through Yelp and everything went smoothly at check-in. The staff is incredibly friendly and sweet. They offered us water and a robe to feel comfortable before the treatment began. When it's time for the treatment, you sit on a chair that reclines completely flat. They start off wrapping you in a soft blanket and begin aromatherapy to ease your mind. As gentle relaxing music plays in the background, they massage your head with oils before a deep scrub. After the scrub, the hair is washed, wrapped, and steamed for treatment. As the hair is steaming, they massage your face and apply a cooling facial mask. While the mask rests, your arms and hands are massaged. To complete the facial, they use a cold jade roller to massage in the facial treatment essence, before applying sunblock. Once the hair is done steaming, they massage your neck and shoulders before they blow dry your hair. By the end of the spa, I felt like a brand new person. I had a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders from stress and Mai worked on it and relieved a lot of it. I think she noticed how tense it was and cared a lot for it. My scalp is usually dry and flaking and the steam and hair mask made my hair and scalp feel nice and fresh. 3 weeks later I have not noticed any flaking yet! Had amazing pampering treatments here today with Luna and Trang. I was here about two years ago and enjoyed it but I have really sensitive skin so this time I brought my own products and crossed my fingers that they wouldn't mind! It was easy to book online using the package we purchased in 2022. Luna was super accommodating and used my products plus a little water for slip during the massage portion. It was heavenly. OMG! I just had my first head spa experience, and I'm in love! I definitely recommend making an appointment with them before your visit. I decided to go with the Platinum Treatment, which is a 75 minute experience that is at $145. It came with a scalp massage, wash & condition, neck and shoulder massage, face cleansing, hot oil treatment, facial massage with jade tools, collagen/anti-aging/vitamin mask, and arm massage. I had Mai as my specialist. She was super sweet and friendly. I felt like I was hanging with an auntie or something. The stalls are divided by curtains. Each area holds 2 people at a time. I had the luxury of being in the stall by myself. I can't imagine if you came by yourself, and ended up next to a stranger. So, I highly suggest coming here with a friend or a significant other since the stalls are set up like that. They give you a basket to store your belongings. It is very dim-lit, and they have spa music in the background playing. Mai is also very strong, so let her know how you like your pressure points for your massages. Although I don't get cold easily, I can see how it can get cold for others who do. The whole experience was definitely relaxing and much needed. I didn't really know what to expect, but I left the place feeling rejuvenated. After my blow dry, my hair was left silky and shiny. There is free parking available in the back or on the street in front. It looks like they're extending their space, so there's two areas you can enter through the back. The back is pretty unassuming, so pay attention to the address # that they give you. The pricing is kind of high for the area, but if you got a pretty penny, I highly recommend trying this place out! Pros: - Great, long, & through service - Easy to book online, even last-min for cancellations - Parking is easy - Service packages save a LOT of money & can be shared with friends/family - The atmosphere is very calming/comfortable: clean facility, A/C, spa music, dark setting, comfortable reclining chair - I liked the touch of the ice roller on the face - All their products smell so good, like tea-tree Tips: - Wear a tube/strapless top as there is a lot of shoulder/back massage involved if you're getting one of the longer services. - There are 3 main chairs, so you can book with up to 3 friends at the same time and all sit together. Going as a single person isn't weird either as it is dark and the person sitting next to you if far enough away. Cons: - Felt like the hot steam treatment was not that thorough and didn't do much - I never noticed at any point that I was given the hot oil treatment that was a part of the service I paid for - There is a 4% transaction fee on ALL card purchases that they don't advertise before your appointment. This was over $10 added to the package I bought. Felt like it was unfair I wasn't warned because I had no choice but to pay extra for my service as I didn't have cash. - I would have preferred facial products be removed with a towel, but were wiped with Kleenex - I wish you could get a bit of wave at the end of your hair you see with a traditional blowout - they just blew my hair completely straight - The service is very geared towards clarifying, but I didn't get much conditioning and hydrating at the end read more

Made a last minute appointment on Friday night before heading for a spa day with my friend on Saturday afternoon. It was both of our first time getting a head spa. We were pleasantly surprised with a simple facial, head massage, head washing, and neck/shoulder massage. Our hair still feels so soft and nice after opting in for the blowdry option.
