Gave us recommendations on what to order and allowed us to customize our bowl to be half greens and half grains. - "welcome" shot of ginger, apple, carrot juice - indoor and outdoor seating - offered us extra house made salsa with our dishes MENU - plant based. Gluten free. Soy free. Dairy free. No microwave. No deep fryer. - great variety of sweet and savory options - not too expensive for good quality ingredients (between $10 and $15 for a dish) FOOD - sunrise scramble (4/5): most vegan breakfast scrambles are tofu-based, so I enjoyed the change in texture from the black beans and cauliflower. With the accompanying green salsa and the house salsa, the spice level was perfect. The bread okay, it came with the dish but I was not a huge fan of its texture. - Mediterranean bowl (3/5): the best part of this dish is the chickpea frittata. While the rest of the bowl is not bad, it does not have any one element that particularly stands out. We ordered it with half greens and half quinoa. - chicken n' waffles (5/5): my favorite of the dishes that we ordered! The waffle is made of oat and coconut which makes it pillowy and slightly sweet. The cauliflower is breaded in such a way to make it crispy without the heaviness of deep frying it. And smothering the waffles is the best gravy I have gotten from a cafe. It is made of a variety of vegetables, which gives it a lovely orange hue and slightly sweet taste. - banana bread (5/5): super soft with a textural surprise from the walnuts. Exactly how banana bread should be. - majikal chia pudding (3/5): since we were pretty full after the rest of the food, we ate this about an hour later. My main critique is the granola getting soggy from being near the chia pudding. Small Smoothies start at $11 each. Kinda pricey, wont be coming here as frequently due to that, when there is a better priced juice joint around the corner same complex. Newport Beach has always been my happy place and I never though anything could make it better until my favorite restaurant opened up near the beach in Costa Mesa! I first discovered this place in Dana Point and made it a point to stop by every time I made a trip to SD. Now I can add it as a part of my beach day in Newport! My fave dishes are the macro bowl and the avocado smash. I love that they give you an option to get it on a sweet potato slice rather than bread. It's so creative and makes it so much more flavorful!! The food is not only tasty but healthy, organic, and beautifully presented. Can't wait to see this place in Long Beach! ;) read more

I think this place has serious food quality issues, I used to be a very frequent customer. However, I ordered a Macro Bowl today, and mid bite I eat something hard. I assumed it was maybe a burnt piece of greens, however as I washed it, it was a literal piece of plastic in my food. Not only that but as I dug around I found a few more black pieces of plastic. I don't even know how this gets in someone's food, considering I also work in food service. Additionally, they always forget my extra sauce and often forget things within my order. I personally would not eat here again, due to the numerous problems/quality issues I have had. Who knows how much plastic was in my bowl or if I consumed any. Little crawling things! Ordered a salad and got creatures moving at the bottom of the bowl. Called to let them know what happened. I was told this is normal and it happens all the time. So I guess crawling worms are part of the experience at Vibe. It really didn't phase them. No sorry or we didn't wash it well enough and wont happen again. It was like you didn't enjoy the crawlling maggot looking worm, its part of our seasoning. God only knows how many I ate before catching this. Or maybe I get the Ecoli seasoning with my worms. Vibe has the best vegan food! I usually go to the Newport location but went here this time and sat outside. This place was bigger with more patio seating. The manager was nice and friendly too. I ordered the jackfruit tacos before and they were delicious, so I decided to get the jackfruit burrito( love those pickled onions) this time! It was the best burrito ever! It's a perfect replication of a carnitas burrito. Meat eaters need to get this! All their sauces that they put on the side are so good! I love their spicy green sauce. My husband got the Broccoli wrap and it was so delicious too! Their Tuscan vegetable soup is always pure perfection! I love Vibe's consistency.
