TLDR: food is mediocre and service is abysmal but it's a pretty restaurant, I guess. Only redeeming quality of this spot was the ambience and decor, but after sitting and waiting as much as we did, you get over that too. The restaurant was extremely empty with only maybe 20% of the tables filled and less than 10 seats at the bar top, at least 5 servers standing around and 4 bartenders behind the bar. Somehow our food still took 45 minutes to come out. No one checked in and let us know it was coming soon or anything. Actually, no one spoke to us the entire time we waited. When it did get to us, my boyfriend's dish was incorrect and had to be sent back. I picked at my food and noticed that the sauce was cooked onto the dish showing that it sat under a heat lamp for who knows how long. The tostada was also stale proving the same point. This entire time, no one came to ask how it tasted. The bartender who took our order avoided us like the plague, never once offering another drink. Entirely disappointing and not worth the $100+ tab for brunch. read more

Ambiance was amazing, but unfortunately the service fell short. Very long wait times to get our food with a restaurant that was hardly at 25% capacity. When we received our meals mine was incorrect after waiting 45 mins and had to send it back. To wait even longer. Also my girlfriend got the huevos rancheros where you can see that the sauce had been cooked onto the plate from sitting for so long. The restaurant wasn't incredibly busy, so it didn't seem to make much sense why the service is so bad. Counter seats very comfortable. Very good service. They pay extra attention to cleaning the inside of glasses thoroughly. $29 all in breakfast includes two eggs I got scrambled with yes they also have american cheese and not just cheddar yay, two buttermilk pancakes which were good and I imagine the blueberry pancakes are even better plus the all in breakfast included a side of bacon and the hash brown which maybe were not as good as those at the Wynn and coffee or another non alcoholic drink is included plus they also have splenda and sports on TVs plus music and plenty of room. Dress is casual. They also have matzah ball soup and are open I believe until 7pm on the second floor near the room elevators. read more

I provided a review earlier in the week and wanted to give an update. I've eaten here every morning of my trip. Vida breakfast, ham and cheese omelet twice and then the huevos ranchero today. Absolutely on par at each sitting. Trisha was an amazing server as well. The team here elevate the high class diner atmosphere. Loved the music selection too. Wish I remembered to take pics. In any case, the only minor issue I had was that they served cold butter and thus it sat in top of the toast instead of melting into it. I had bacon every day because the wait staff recommended. I make my own hot sauce and added it to the huevos for some extra kick. I will be back. This was a nice hidden gem of a place seemingly well run. Great job! read more

Talk about amazing service , I have to say the second I came to my table , I was greeted by this bright angel Ashli and it set the whole mood for the day . She approached me with a brightest smile I have ever seen and she was attentive , personable , and really made me feel welcomed and truly made me smile along with her and it really started off my day the right way . I could see that she had the same infectious presence with all her tables , as for each one she left had a big grin on their face . You have a keeper here Vida! Juan and Johan took terrific care of us; great service. The food was of high quality but somewhat bland - and not cheap. (More flavor is available for less money up one floor in the less Promenade food court, but sometimes you want a sit-down experience, and Vida gives you that.) Coffee was good. Room wasn't anything special, but it was well appointed - still couldn't cover up for the fact that you were in a cavern in an enormous concrete building. Food was a three (for the price), coffee was a four, service was a five and room was a three - I'd say three stars overall. Every one of these big hotels has its breakfast place: Vida certainly isn't the gorgeous Tableau in Wynn (although it's almost as expensive) or even the tasty bustle of Sadelle's in Bellagio . . . it's not really even as nice as Primrose in Parq Central/NoMad. Vida appears to be trying as hard as it can, but it doesn't have the light or the plants of those places and it doesn't really have their interesting, tasty food, either. So maybe the pricing at Vida should be commensurately lower. read more

Well we finished off a two night staycation at Fontainebleau hotel with breakfast at Vida. We weren't having the best luck at the hotel being new and new employees but I have to say that Ayaka our server was a breathe of fresh air!! Her smile and professionalism was over the top!! The food came and I ordered steak and eggs and everything was awesome but they undercooked my steak. She took the steak and made it right! The manager came over and gave us a beautiful fruit plate stir the issue and that was a very nice thing to do. They brought an entire new plate with everything so I was full for sure. Definitely the best part of the trip! Again Ayaka was incredible and they should be honored to have such lovely and bright star in their restaurant! 4 stars for the under cooked steak. I'm A chef as well so it needed to be cooked as they did and then put in the oven to finish for a medium temp finish. read more

I love the decor of this restaurant. It matches the theme of the whole hotel, which is the navy blue and gold. I like the booths that are pretty private even when the restaurant is full, you can't really tell how many people are in it. My only issue is the lack of food customization from the entire menu. The food is great, but they don't let you substitute pretty much anything and they don't offer sides of things even if you wanted to build your own item. For example, the all in American breakfast is great for people like me who want sweet and savory, but you can only get plain pancakes, they wouldn't let me substitute for their brown sugar swirl Blueberry pancakes or a waffle or anything else that they offer. Only pancakes. You can only get a waffle if you get chicken and waffles which I didn't want and with pancakes alone being $30 I didn't want to customize my own platter to be over $50 for a traditional breakfast. You can also only get hash browns when they have breakfast potatoes for other dishes. We learned the hard way that there is cheese in this mini pastry on top of the hashbrowns and there may be cheese or extra dairy in the hashbrowns himself. I wish the menu disclosed that information. Again, Food was good. Just wish there was a little more flexibility. I would come back just to be served by Trisha again .She was absolutely delightful and pleasant from beginning to end even on a holiday like New Year's Day when I know all restaurants are slammed for brunch. read more

Sorry to say a bit disappointed in this restaurant. Went for breakfast on our last day in Vegas. My wife ordered the regular eggs Benedict and got the brisket Benedict, that wasn't so bad but she couldn't cut through the English muffin with her knife. I ordered the scramble with poached eggs. Lots of peppers that overwhelmed any other tasted there was. Poached eggs had runny whites, not enjoyable. I asked for crispy English muffins, well you guessed it, they were not, and as it was for my wife I really had to bit hard to break through the crust side. It should be noted that the staff was friendly and professional. It was pricy, but then all LV restaurants are now. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, very pleasant. Food presentation was okay. It's just hard to justify paying $70 for breakfast and not walking away feeling content. Probably won't go back. read more

Vida is located inside the Fontainebleau on the ground level near the casino. It has a wonderful "casual-elegant" atmosphere. Bright and cheerful interior, yet peaceful. No casino noise. Ate here every morning for 5 days and every meal was outstanding. Excellent quality food prepared by a chef, not a cook. One of the pleasures of dining here all week was being able to have Aya as our server every morning. She was attentive, engaging, pleasant, friendly, efficient. The ideal staff person you want taking care of you, particularly first thing in the morning! Disappointing! Party of 2 had breakfast on 12/25...The whole experience from the hostess table to the end was underwhelming and disappointing. The ladies at the front looked so unfriendly and rude.... smile goes a long way, especially on a holiday. We got seated and were excited to try the food. We ordered the special lamb gyro , soup, salad and cappuccino.... the gyro looked like a reheated dog food... it was cold, dry and unappetizing. We had to flag our server and got offered a replacement, which we did... unfortunately, the food still tasted less than desirable, considering that it was $32 and on a special holiday menu... the salad was also underwhelming... for such high prices, I'd expect the food to be above a cheap dinner. The decor inside is very cute and modern. We got the cinnamon roll pancakes, eggs Benedict, and a mimosa. In my opinion, the cinnamon roll pancakes were the perfect amount of sweet. The candied walnuts and mascarpone cream really made the pancakes go to the next level. The eggs Benedict was nothing special, the bread was a bit hard to cut through and the portions were on the smaller side. The service was good until we got our food. I joined some friends who were already having breakfast here for a cup of coffee while I waited for my husband to come down. The coffee was excellent!!! The service waitstaff were very accommodating and friendly. I decided not to order breakfast there after hearing the reviews from my friends who were eating. They let me try some of the items. The bacon and the sausage was just not tasty. The hash brown patty was way too greasy for my taste, though it looked delish and a couple of people liked it. The brisket tasted like canned meat and had no flavor. Also orders the chicken waffles and got a raw piece of chicken. The manager came over and said it's because it's injected but the next day one of my family members ordered the same thing and it look just fine and wasn't raw still tough and hard to eat. I went for breakfast and was utterly shocked at the quality of the food. It's such a beautiful atmosphere, and the service was good, but I couldn't believe they serve food that is such low quality. I had an all American breakfast. The chicken sausage was absolutely terrible. It was like they microwaved it. And it was truly awful. The hashbrowns are reminiscent of a McDonald's hash brown, but in the shape of a puck. The pancakes were very small and average. They did sub the bacon, but the eggs were even stone cold. Great breakfast spot! We stayed at the hotel and came down 2 mornings for breakfast. First day I got the avocado toast with egg it was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the all included breakfast with eggs, bacon, hashbrown and pancakes he was happy with his order both days. We also had fruit plate, yogurt parfait with granola. Croissants were delicious and buttery. Probably one of the best cappuccino I've had in a while. The smoothie were good as well. We both enjoyed our meal. Definitely, a must try when visiting the Fontainebleau! The greeter staff at the front were so friendly and accommodating... we were seated immediately. Before ordering, pause and take in the beautiful decor of VIDA. I ordered the La Colombe Coffee smoothie, which with each sip reminded me of a delicious peanut treat. Each sip had just the right amount flavor and the almond milk was perfect. I also ordered the California Chicken Burger. That burger was juicy and made with the right amount of toppings, which did not overwhelm one another. The burger came with good portion of fresh fries. I can tell Vida's not using frozen potatoes. My boyfriend ordered the Keto Egg White Omelet. He especially loved that the omelet is made with salmon! Everything was fresh and well prepared.
