Our waiter was Miguel, who was very nice and knowledgeable about the food we asked for his recommendation and he suggested Buttermilk waffle chicken which was delicious and enough for two of us to share. We were staying nearby and looking for somewhere close to have breakfast. Hadn't been to Vegas in forever and had never heard of the resort. Couldn't have been happier. Dining is more bougie than the normal vegas breakfast spots but comfy and had amazing service. Maggie was sweet, friendly and an amazingly attentive server. The menu is to die for! We shared an omelet and the cinnamon roll pancakes. Which were totally amazing. The entire menu is not huge but has something for everyone and if you don't try the cinnamon roll pancakes you are missing out on the greatest pancakes that have ever been made. The Vida was about half full on Saturday early afternoon. The two of us were seated within minutes and greeted at the table quickly. We ordered pineapple mimosas, coffee and water. The coffee cups are larger than most places, which I appreciated. We ordered eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles. The restaurant was well staffed, but we had to ask twice for coffee refills, so they aren't overly attentive. My eggs Benedict came with one egg cooked perfectly and the other egg with a hard yoke. The hash browns came as a round disk about the width of a fifty cent piece. Tasty, but could have been larger? The chicken and waffles were a nice presentation and my friend enjoyed it. Overall, the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I recommend they focus on follow up service with guests. Having to wave someone down twice for coffee refills is not acceptable. The chef should also be able to cook eggs Benedict. In addition the hollandaise sauce was very bland. I don't recommend it. read more

Trash. I went here with high hopes cause I heard chef Kyle was the manager from encore in Boston and he worked with people I knew at Wynn. No I never worked with Wynn just to clarify. I was expecting a stellar experience and a wow. Absolute trash. I had huevos Ranchos absolute disgust. My wife had a club sandwich which i swear looked like a child cut it. We notified a manager female with glasses sorry no disrespect to her forgot her name she said I'll tell the chef and they just said it's too busy mistakes happen. They did fix my wife's sandwhich but they forgot the mayo and bacon. This Vida is definitely a let down compared to Miami. Shame on the chefs and his team at this location. The most amazing food, service and ambiance you will find in Las Vegas for breakfast! Aya was our server and provided exceptional service. She was at our table immediately after we were seated, getting our beverages started and was extremely helpful, selecting some unique juices. The lattes are available with almond and oat milk and various flavors. We ordered the avocado toast with the fresh fruit and can honestly say it was delicious. The flavors and freshness of everything were superior. The attentiveness of Aya and speed of our service was impeccable. The menu offers a variety of options and the quality of the food is impressive. It was quite busy by 9:30 AM when we left, so I would recommend a reservation if you are able. The booth was comfortable and even though they were busy, we felt like we had privacy to talk and enjoy our meal. I highly recommend Vida if you are in Vegas and can make it over, it is well worth it. You will get exceptional food and service. Amazing breakfast or bunch spot! I recommend getting a reservation as it can be quite busy. We ate here a few times during our stay and some of the stand out dishes were the chicken and waffles, the smoked salmon Benedict, and the lavender and honey berries. Nothing we tried was disappointing but those few dishes were definite favorites. I have a gluten allergy which was well taken care of, and almost any dish on the menu was modifiable to my allergy. The servers were all very professional and pleasant. I recommend asking for a booth as it makes it a comfortable, laid back vibe while enjoying a high end meal. I had one of the best experiences at Vida which is in the new Fountainebleau. Everything about my visit there was perfect! The restaurant is beautiful and has a nice ambiance. vida was likely our least favorite restaurant at the fontainbleau but it was still a nice experience. dropped by for lunch and we ordered a chicken & waffles and the rib eye sandwich. needless to say there's a first time for everything, it was the first (and last) time my husband and i will have raclette cheese because it was on the rib eye sando and it was something we couldn't get on board with. it would've been better with another more mellow less stinky cheese, lol. the fried chicken portion was generous but a tad bit dry. the waffles however, were really good. service was great, but the we were first guided to a table with leftover crumbs on the seats... so we asked to switch to another table but the hostess wasn't too happy about the crumb feedback. just ok. read more

After a fun weekend staying at Fontainebleau and seeing Tears for Fears, we decided to eat breakfast at Vida before getting on the road. It was a disappointment. We ordered the fruit plate to start, which was pretty small but hey it's fruit. My husband ordered the Matzo Ball soup (I know strange for breakfast) which he liked. I ordered a side of eggs and the avocado toast. The avocado toast was terrible. I ate two small bites only because the bread was actually soggy and wet. I don't think it was ever toasted! It was literally mushy bread. I pushed it to the side and ordered another side of eggs. The server who went missing at times didn't comment on the uneaten avocado toast, but after the check came I let him know it wasn't edible. He wasn't surprised nodding when I said I couldn't eat it and basically told me he hoped my day got better. Me too! Anyway, it wasn't great and I left hungry. After an amazing dinner at the hotel the night before I was surprised at the poor service and soggy toast. Next time we will skip this place, but the hotel is great for the record. read more

We are staying at the hotel with our 3 young children while visiting local family. We used our breakfast credit at Vida. The staff is excellent from the hostess to the server to the food runners. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. The grown ups enjoyed coffee while the kids had blueberry pancakes and oatmeal. The prices are what you would expect for eating on the Vegas strip but the food here is superior. (We have stayed at many properties for years.) The pancakes were amazing with lemon ricotta cream and blueberry compote. Even the oatmeal was great with a selection of toppings served on the side and it appeared to be steel cut oats prepared on site not some instant junk. Latte and drip coffee were both good. Even the sourdough toast with jam the 3 year old had was really good. Solid, wholesome food at a Vegas price but not a rip off. Highly suggest splitting the pancakes (giant) and getting a side of breakfast meat for each person. read more

What makes matters worse is that the waitress argued about the eggs? I just expected better paying over $30 for breakfast, my wife says were hard instead of over medium and her English muffin was also stale Hopefully this is just growing pains for a new hotel casino however, I don't find any excuse for a waitress. Stopped by the Fontainebleau Hotel today to see what the fuss was all about and discovered Vida. Most of the restaurants weren't open until 11:00 am so we decided to try Vida. The restaurant was nicely decorated, with a bar in the center. The menu has brunch, as well as other options available for those who want something else besides breakfast items. We tried the rigatoni bolognese and open face rib-eye sandwich. The portion sizes were decent, and looked appealing to the eye. The bolognese was full of meat and the sauce was flavorful and well seasoned. The rib-eye sandwich was tender and served medium rare, with sauteed onions and mushrooms. There was a small frisee salad on the side. We saved room for dessert and ordered the Key lime cheesecake and Banana sticky toffee pudding. Compared to Gordon Ramsey's sticky toffee pudding, this one was a close contender, with a banana bread flavor and served with vanilla ice cream and a caramel toffee sauce. Let's start with the positives - the ambience, decor and the service were good. Food was overpriced, the portion smallish, and not amazingly presented. However, the biggest problem was that my burrito was lukewarm - it must have been waiting somewhere as scrambled eggs inside were not warm. I didn't want to wait any longer or had my burrito to lose its taste by being microwaved, so I just ate it. The place had many serving staff members walking around but not efficient or knowing what they are doing - we were left with no one taking orders from us for a long time and the neighboring table was waiting for their check and eventually they had to ask the host - not sure what our waiting staff were busy with as the restaurant was not that busy looking. We eventually took order with someone who was walking by that was not our designated waitress. He was really helpful and apologized for the wait. The food took at least thirty minutes to come and by then it was past 11am. I know the place just opened this month so hopefully they work out the brunch kinks and get the operation going more smoothly before we are willing to return. read more

Let's start with our brunch server Janeth. We explained it was our first visit and that there may be questions. We also alerted her that we were NOT in a rush and wanted to take in the experience. that set the pace and delivers a great guest experience. We arrived at 11 am the activity was brisk - the normal pace in a large open modern bistro. By 2 pm the energy was settling along with our meal. Vida is a sophisticated bright dining room on the casino level of the new Las Vegas Fontainebleau. Thank you for an inspiring visit and my first steak (and eggs) following corrective surgery. It was worth the wait; the sampling of 4 flavored Mimosas was another great suggestion. For ambiance, Vida is one of those spaces the longer you look the more you love.
