My boyfriend and I went here for date night on February 13th, hoping to avoid the Valentine's Day rush. Unfortunately, we had the worst service. The restaurant wasn't busy--only one large party next to us, and they already had their food and drinks. When we were seated, we were given food menus but not drink menus. It took 15 minutes before someone walked by, and when my boyfriend asked for a drink menu, they brought it and disappeared. After waiting a while, my boyfriend tried to get a server's attention, but the response was a rude "not now" before walking away. I told my boyfriend I hoped he wasn't our server. When we finally got service, we ordered food and a bottle of red wine. The server brought white wine instead, but at least corrected it when we pointed it out. After our food arrived, the server never checked on us. I ordered fettuccine with chicken and mushrooms, but the chicken was missing. Since our server disappeared, we couldn't even address it. I wanted dessert, but my boyfriend suggested we go elsewhere. The server eventually came back--only to clean up after the large party--but still ignored our table. We had to flag someone down just to get our check. At that point, the server asked if we wanted dessert, but we declined. To top it off, my boyfriend mentioned that the same out-of-service stall in the men's bathroom from a year ago was still broken, and the door was rusted at the bottom. We don't usually leave reviews, but after this terrible experience--and both of us working in hospitality--we felt it was necessary. A year ago, we had our second date here and had a great time, so we thought it would be special to return for our first Valentine's. Sadly, it was a huge disappointment. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is that, despite the service issues and the mistake with my order, the food was still good. Also, our first experience here was great.

I had to meet someone here for business, and based on reviews I wasn't expecting much. Yelp was spot on. The food was not fresh at all, we had calamari for our appetizer, there was hardly any actual squid, it was mostly just French fries. I've never seen that done using French fries as filler for calamari. I ordered seafood risotto. None of the seafood was fresh and the risotto itself wasn't the correct texture. The only good thing was the tiramisu. So many great Italian places around, I wouldn't waste my time coming back here.

Complimentary bread which still has a chokehold on me. The tomato with the bread was *chefs kiss*!!!!

Occasion: Spontaneous Date Night PARKING: Free Garage Parking, Valet Location & Ambiance: Wonderful location. This restaurant is located at Mizner Park which is generally a safe area filled with many options for eating and entertainment. This is a great location for taking a stroll and chatting with your date after dinner. The ambiance is truly gorgeous. We got extremely blessed and walked in right as there was LIVE music. The accordion player did an amazing job. She delivered such a romantic experience. To the restaurant owner, please continue with the live music. It truly elevates the experience. Service: I am so upset with myself for not being able to recall the name of our waiter. However, I do remember him saying that if we don't like him, his name is Kevin, which is hilarious. Dear, Kevin, you were amazing. Thank you for such a beautiful experience. I'm sorry I can't recall your name, but just know that you were 100/10!!!! Food: The food? EXQUISITE. That's it. That's all you need to know. My plate took me on a flight away and I do NOT want to return. One way ticket!! Overall: A million/10 What a wonderful experience! We'll surely need to return. Everything was delightful!!

Stopped by for a late lunch after visiting the Boca Museum. We were craving Italian and this place was conveniently located in Mizner Park. They have outdoor dining but you're dining right on the sidewalk while patrons walk by. They try to capitalize their outdoor space by having lots of seats outside but its very crowded and this was the case while we dined. We opted to sit inside. The decor inside was very old school and dated. I ordered a stuffed pasta and a 4 cheese white pizza. The pasta had ricotta and spinach that was covered in this amazing cheesy pink sauce. It was really good! The pizza was thin and really good as well. Our food and service were good but nothing spectacular. If you're already in Mizner Park and want Italian, stop by but if you would a better ambience and food- there a few spots close by that would satisfy this.

He knew all about pizza and was interesting to talk with. We ordered a large regular cheese pizza (New York style) and were happy that two soft drinks with free refills were included with the large pizza. He had other deals similar to that for lunch orders. The pizza came to our table very hot. It was too hot to touch with my fingers. After our taste of the pizza, we knew why this place has a phenominal average of 4..8 with over 500 reviews. Almost all five star ratings. It is as good as pizza can get. As good as the best anywhere, including NYC. Too bad that we do not live nearby in South Florida, to be able to go there any time. The pizza crust had good char and the crust had good taste. Thickness was about right. Ratio of cheese and tomato sauce was right. The last bite of the pizza that I had was as good as the first. (I rarely say things like that in my pizza reviews). This was five star, all the way. Modern Italian music played. Restaurant was clean. Plenty of parking available.

I ordered the Tomato Cream Gnocchi and my boyfriend had the Mediterranean Combo. No exaggeration but this was the best gnocchi I've ever had. The dish changed my view on gnocchi and I'm now a converted fan. The texture was pillow soft with a bit of spring. The magic of this dish is how simple yet delicious it is. I loved a simple dish done well. The Mediterranean combo was a special of the night and it came with prawns, branzino, fried anchovies, and a salad. The combo was also just as goods. The seasoning was yet again, simple but delicious. The prawns were succulent, fish was high quality, and the fried anchovies surprised me. I loved all the proteins. I also tried the squid ink pasta and the seafood linguini. Both were good but the squid ink pasta was unique. I can't put my finger on the flavor but I liked it. Service was incredible and the chef was kind. He came out to talk to us and explained some of the dishes. The restaurant is homey and cozy. I felt like I was in Sicily. Overall, I highly recommend Savia. I can't wait to come back and try more.

While the food was generally good--my veal chop from the prix fixe menu was flavorful, though slightly dry--other dishes were, unfortunately, just average. What truly undermined the evening, however, was the service. Throughout the night, several guests struggled with repeatedly unfilled water glasses and had to ask multiple times for basic items. Our waitress hardly checked in until the end of the meal, with minimal follow-up during dinner. The situation escalated when, after paying, our waitress, Haley B, approached the table in a confrontational manner, questioning me directly--three separate times--about the tip, in front of the entire group. Gratuity should reflect the quality of both service and overall experience; being pressured for a higher tip despite the lack of attention was entirely out of line. To make matters worse, my follow-up call to management was equally disappointing. The response was all talk, no action. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression.
