I can only speak of the salads here. My friend has been bringing "Joe's Salad creations" from here to our Friday potluck. Fresh ingredients, ripe sweet fruit, and creamy delicious dressings.

Chinese Chicken Salad

This is for the Chinese chicken salad. The vegetables are fresh and battered chicken are very tasty but the sesame powder (?) and dressing doesn't match the salad. I will be back to try the soup and sandwiches

A great egg salad sandwich!

This place is further from where I work than I typically go for lunch, but I was up in the area for an errand, and decided to try it. Glad I did. An egg salad sandwich is an egg salad sandwich? Not quite. a) lots of egg salad, cool. b) *green* lettuce, cool. c) a pickle, very cool. There's a place right around the corner that used to give pickle slices with their lunches, and when covid hit they stopped, and never started back up again. Don't think I didn't notice that! I'll be back to Vince's ...

Veggie sandwich It's not good.

I got a veggie sandwich. It's really bad. Would not recommend if you're looking for vegan friendly options. The bread is tough and soggy. The veggies are all dipped in pickle juice so it was so wet. And slimy juice was dripping off. Overall terrible.

Chicken tortilla soup with cheese.

First time trying this place and it's only down the street from my job so I was really hoping to like it. The service was like no other I have seen. I came right at the lunch rush and I waited in line less than 2 min with 3 people ahead of me. I ordered their salmon day special. It was a pasta with salmon and cauliflower. I liked it but nothing too memorable. The side options were a soup or salad. I went with the soup and it took the show! I never thought a chicken tortilla soup needed cheese but I've been missing out all my life. It added a saltiness and gooeyness that I've never had before. Once ordered I waited maybe 5 mins. They had about 10-15 people working at once. You can see right into their kitchen and it was a well oiled machine. Really happy I found this place. I'll be back to try their Sanwhiches or any other specials they might have.

Their menu as of March 4th, 2020.

Vince Cafe has been in Southern Fremont for years, as this is a very popular place to grab lunch from the local businesses. They are very spacious inside and they have outdoor seating too, with plenty of parking. They have a wide range of fresh items, such as cold & hot sandwiches, burgers, fries, soups & salads & even pasta. Their menu does change, but their cold sandwiches are pretty consistent. Because all of their items are freshly made, it can take a while for your food to be prepared, so you should only come here if you have a longer lunch break. Also if you come here during the peak lunch hour, they can be very crowded. If you want to pay with your credit card, the minimum purchase is $10. As for the food, they're good & fresh, and worth the price that you pay for; and you're supporting a local business.

Good food, fast service and friendly customer service! The walnut shrimp thing was also pretty delicious

Cafe Club Sandwich

Vince's is a go to for the businesses in the area so it gets busy during the lunchtime hour. Pictures one of their specials 1/2 sandwich & 1/2 salad. I've gotten their California turkey before but pictured is their Club sandwich. It does the trick for a quick close spot during the work day but overall the sandwiches are average. My personal preference is warmed bread and cheese but this is your average cold cut sandwich. Their croutons in the salad are delicious though! They taste like they are freshly made. I will probably come back due to convince

Mmmm

I've honestly only come here for lunch and always want to try their specials or burgers - BUT can't stop getting my fave sandwich every time I walk out of this damn place... This is a legit hole in wall, mom & pop owned shop serving a mix mash of different foods, anything from short ribs on mashed potatoes TO honey walnut prawns TO sandwiches & burgers...YES it's weird, but it somehow freakn works.... Super fast service, you look at the menu - order - pay - get a number - find a seat or wait for your to go. Line looks long but will move fast. Food will also come out fast which is always a plus, if you get a sandwich (to go) it'll pretty much be ready when you get to the register to pay. I always get the California turkey sandwich which comes on a YUMMY Dutch crunch bread that just does wonders + Generous amount of turkey + lettuce + avocado...then I add sprouts AND a cup of soup which can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the soup is good, but most of the time it can be a little too watery - def. made in house if that tells you anything...all in all - the sandwich alone makes me happy!

Serving indoor and outdoor.

Anyone know an email or text to reach Stan the manager? Many of us local businesses love Vince's and due to Covid-19, let's see if there are any inventive ideas we can come up with to help them stay afloat - delivery/to-go curbside pickup, etc.

Is this a place to go if u only have an hr lunch?

If you get there by 11:48 am! The line grows by then, but, honestly even with a long line they prepare the food very quickly. So I'd say yes...

My omelette was okie dokie, the bacon instead could've been better cooked, I found myself eating around it. The potatoes were good tho. All in all, I'm dropping my rating down to 3 stars because I need the food to be on par with the drinks. Not terrible but have had better ‍ At least customer service was amazing! Waitress was very attentive :-)

Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with what we got. I ordered an iced Black Forest mocha and my sister got an iced island latte. Both drinks were underwhelming. Mine mostly tasted like sweetened milk, and I couldn't taste any espresso or raspberry flavor at all. I'm honestly not sure if my order was made incorrectly or if something was just off. My sister's drink tasted like watered-down coconut milk with very little flavor. We were disappointed enough that we ended up tossing both drinks on our way home. Not what we were hoping for.

It has easily become my go to neighborhood ritual. The Coffee & Eats: Their coffee is wonderfully hearty, and the variety they bring to the table is impressive. Whether I'm sticking to a classic, comforting cup of their house blend or opting for one of their rotating specials, like a perfectly dialed in Ethiopian drip or their unique orangeinfused specialties, it never disappoints. Yes, the serving sizes are a bit smaller than your average corporate chain, but the rich flavor and high quality roast make up for it entirely. And whatever you do, do not skip the pastries. Their freshly baked almond croissants are easily the best around, insanely flaky and perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining beautifully soft and pillowy on the inside. The Atmosphere: The vibe inside is cozy, lively, and full of character, heavily anchored by a beautiful collection of thriving houseplants (though I did recently offer to water a struggling pothos back to life, fingers crossed it makes a comeback!). Once a plant Mom, there's no going back. When the weather is nice, sitting outside in the evening is absolutely beautiful and the perfect way to unwind. It's the ultimate spot to grab a treat, catch your breath, and enjoy top tier local coffee. A staff member greeted me when I came in and let me know I could order at the cash register when I was ready. I ordered a large frozen caramel latte and they made it immediately. It was delicious -- if you like sweet drinks, you will not be disappointed. It was actually almost too sweet for me, and I'm the type to ask for extra caramel in my caramel lattes. The drink was well blended and the large size is 24 oz, so good portion there. The paper menu needs to be updated though, because it listed the drink price as $6.15 but I was charged $6.50. In addition to frozen (frappe) coffee drinks, they have fruit freeze drinks and juices. I was there at lunchtime during a weekday and there were people dining in. As we have our dog with us all the time and visiting your restaurant for the first time allowed us to have a breakfast date which we haven't been able to do in a while & it was nice to sit down and talk. The staff was incredibly friendly and created a warm, family-oriented atmosphere - I believe we met all of their hosts and even the owner Alex who introduced himself and spoke with us. We truly appreciated being checked on, although the only thing I'd advise is that once your customers get their food and you have asked if everything is OK 1-2 times, to please allow your customers to enjoy the food.. We were approached almost every 2 minutes by different hosts, the owner and another maybe co-owner Fidel - constantly being asked if everything was OK or if we needed more coffee which was asked in total about 8 times (not exaggerating as we were asked by different people lol). We felt as if we were being monitored the entire time and couldn't enjoy our time to eat and talk. Again this is just a feedback & advice to allow your customers to enjoy the food and the company or family they are with. If they are not looking for staff or any help -- Maybe check back every 10 minutes. Otherwise, we appreciate all of your service & kindness, and we will be back soon to try out other dishes from your menu. Thank you!
