I was pleasantly surprised by this airport restaurant. Quality service and tasty food. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches. We don't eat pork, so substituted sandwich meats for chicken. A breakfast burrito and CLT (chicken, lettuce and tomato). Quiet enough to work and take meetings while waiting for your flight. Also, they have really good music pipped through. That CLT sandwich was hitting whatever they put on the bread was banging. And the peppers and pickles hit the spot. They do offer soft drinks. But not Arnold Palmer with the exception of a canned version. With two beverages and meals total cost was $45

I'm torn with this review. The food and wine were good but, the service was ok and bad at the same time. The server didn't come and check on me until I make eye contact and called them over. I wanted to order something else but the last one was "just" Sold. If I didn't spend 10 minutes trying to get their attention maybe I would have gotten it. They had plenty of bar and table seating.

Ah, good ol' Vino Volo at Jax airport -- my usual, go-to spot when I'm traveling. It's a little pricy for what you get food-wise, but hey, it's an airport spot. This location has a few bartenders/servers I always have who are very nice and attentive. I wouldn't say I'm exactly a regular here, but enough so that they recognize me and always take good care. They have liquor, beer and wine - I can honestly say I haven't had a bad drink here, and I've tried a few different wine and cocktails. The food isn't going to change your life, but it's fresh and I can always find something I'm in the mood for - last time I went with a charcuterie board and tomato bisque. Perfection!

7/26/2025: Perfect place to drink wine and read a book while having a flight delay. Katie was very attentive to each customer that came by.

REVIEW FOR MY EXPERIENCE ON 07/26/2025 (The stand alone wine bar in the GATE A area) **When I went through previous pictures on their Yelp account, it seems that they also have a wine bar location with lunch and dinner at the airport in the GATE C AREA. Double check with them if you're currently at the stand alone wine bar. I gave this spot a try because I had flight delays (Delta things LOL) and the Priority Lounge is closed until further notice. I'm so glad I did because Katie was an amazing employee. While Katie was away from the area, her co worker Lisa checked up on me. ----LOCATION---- - Near Gates A (In the middle of the walk way area) - Super close to the restrooms ----SEATING---- - Open seating - Low tables and chairs options - High bar seating options ----DRINKS---- - Bottled water and other non bottled drinks (limited) - Select red and white wine list for pour - Select beers on tap (I don't remember if they had bottled) - They do not have a wide selection but the drinks does it job for waiting at the airport LOL plus they have a limited amount of space since the size of the area is compared to 2 mall kiosks... but make it a wine bar :) ----HONORABLE MENTION---- - They had coloring pages and colored pencils at the bar area seating if you wanted to color to beat that flight and airport anxiety. I thought that was a cool & thoughtful thing that they had. (For you to do there LOL .. do not take the colored pencils with you on your flight! They stay there. I felt like I needed to add that since someone might just grab and leave with them) ---THE REASONS FOR MY 5 STARS--- 5 Stars for the vibes, excellent customer service and the limited but QUALITY drink selection. What I look for in an excellent customer service experience is a server/bartender/associate that checks up on me occasionally to see if I need anything. Katie was very kind and upbeat. She helped my anxiety with my flight being delayed more bearable with her kindness and empathy.

I've found my new favorite spot at the Jax airport, Vino Volo. Not only are the prices decent for the airport, but the ambiance and service were great! I stopped in on a Friday morning at roughly 7:30 AM and found a seat at the bar. I first noticed they carried local Florida craft beer. No Bud Light here lol. I odered a Buzzing Bee from Veterans United, a Jacksonville owned brewery. I checked out the menu while enjoying the lovely mellow nerve calming music. Mandy, my server/bartender, took great care of me! She offered me breakfast suggestions. I ordered the the PLT breakfast sandwhich with bacon instead of prosciutto. I loved the soft toasted baguette which included a fried egg, lettuce, tomato and mayo (just a little). And it was a perfect size, filled me up, but I wasn't stuffed. I also appreciated the pepper grinder at the bottom of the salt shaker. I highly recommend checking them out next time you at traveling!

Great attentive service and fresh ingredients! Actually amazing, separate from the fact it's at an airport. Would have been 5 stars if they had more items on the menu. It was great that they offer breakfast and lunch at the same time. The espresso martini was strong enough to get on the plane right after. The avocado toast is actually on warned pita bread , it was difficult to eat like toast ,'therefore I had to eat in like a salad and the bread separate. The avocado was FRESH and the balsamic drizzle was flavorful along with sweet ripe tomatoes.

I saw this place before and I should have come here instead of the PGA restaurant. This time I was not going to pass up the opportunity. I was early for my flight and waiting for my boss to meet up with me, and because I hadn't eaten I decided what better place to get a good view of the comings and goings of Terminal C than to sit at Vino Volo. I could get a app and a drink while I wait. The signage caught my eye when I saw the Butcher Board charcuterie so I immediately took a seat at the bar facing the Terminal. The board had capicola, prosciutto, salami, stone ground mustard, dried cranberry, olives, walnuts, jam, gherkins, pimento cheese, smoked gouda, and some other cheese with a rind, and and fancy crackers. There weren't that many people there and all were having a glass of wine. Me? No wine right now. I got a Cool as a Cucumber cocktail, which was Vodka, muddled cucumber, simple syrup, and lemon. I was happy with both items. The service was really great as well. There was one lady that was handling the entire bar but received some backup when more people were asking for drinks. Definitely a place to visit again in the future if I'm early for my next flight or delayed, again.

I really enjoyed the soup of the day before my flight and a glass of wine. The service was fast and the restaurant provided a great atmosphere to retreat before my long day of travel. Will be coming back in the future!

Also tried the frozen strawberry frozen marg which I unfortunately did not enjoy. It didn't have a lot of strawberry flavor, it tastes more like cherry medicine. Do want to mention that when it gets busy, it may be hard to find parking and the area is pretty sketchy (I didn't feel safe parking far and having to walk over. One time a homeless guy was yelling at me when I was walking on the sidewalk), so just be mindful and careful if you do park far and having to walk.

I was one of 6 in a group and had great conversation and larger than expected appetizers. I ordered a flight of reds, broadening my tastes to explore a Tempranillo. It was my favorite, actually, and paired well with the Shanghai Short Rib! I was pleasantly impressed. I did have the crab, shrimp and lobster bisque for my appetizer, the seasonal Shanghai Short rib for my entree and the peach butter cake to finish. Truthfully, I was finished long before the dessert, but had to taste each course. It was delectable! Personally, I would've appreciated more spice in the Shanghai sauce, but it was tasty for a more general palate and customer base. There's some risotto that called to me, so I will definitely return! Our service was kind, professional and attentive without being overly aggressive nor present. It was very appreciative.

Our server Frenchie also made it very clear that she's only working for tips - but she wasn't working very hard for them. Not only did she belittle our party for our ages, but also made it our problem for taking our food/drink orders late. One person in our party asked a question regarding an entree on the menu and he was met with a smart remark and little to no detail explaining the entree. Later on in the night when the whole table is done eating - we all decide to help out and clean up the table as best as we can. Frenchie decided it was a good time to make yet another smart remark about stacking the plates on top of each other. She continued to say "Have you ever been a server before?" and before really answering she cut me off to say "well then you should know not to stack the plates because you don't know if the server can handle that many plates" ... as she continued to take the pile of dishes out of my hand. If she can't handle too many plates in her hands, then she should've just waited to clear the table or politely say "i'll come back for those plates in a minute" by the end of it all , the entire table felt very uncomfortable by her demeanor towards us - of course we still tipped because we understand what it's like to make a living off of tips but to have a sour attitude and continually reminding us that you're here for tips isn't a great way of having customers coming back.
