An Amazing restaurant with great Italian cuisine from Bologna Italy brings you fresh breakfast lunch and delicious meals with delicious Italian inspired dishes straight from the motherland. A nice cappuccino made with fresh ingredients and chaga mushroom powder for extra immune system boosting support. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice space to relax and enjoy your breakfast and start your day fresh hot and delicious with lots of wonderful aromatic dishes and hot coffee here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good service today and fast delivery with a clean restaurant and restroom and plenty of available space for parking on Wednesday. Come to the Camp at Costa Mesa. Finally found a great place for a good breakfast and coffee. Enjoy the day and beautiful weather here.

A friend and I decided to try out Vitaly Caffe since she was craving Italian food as we were walking around The Camp. You order at the register, take a seat, and staff brings your food to your table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was plenty of seating inside and outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, the tables outside were a bit dirty and did not have utensils or napkins.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We wanted to sit outside though, so we easily dusted off the table before sitting. I got the pinsa rustica, a pizza with pieces of potatoes and herbs, and my friend ordered the ravioli with tomato and basil. My pizza was ok, but a bit dry. My friend enjoyed her pasta and finished the whole thing. I don't think I'd come back. The food was ok and service was meh, but there are probably better restaurants on-site.

Love this place! Sweet staff and good food and coffee. I brought my one year old daughter today and she loved it too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating and is so aesthetic and pretty[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I visited this cafe with several members of my family for breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is charming, in The Camp. Cute shops, winding paths, artwork, and lush plantings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Italian cuisine is their specialty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Indoor and outdoor patio seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On this weekday morning, they seemed to have inadequate staff. Wait times for ordering and receiving food were slow. (One cook and two servers). They seem to have a hybrid of counter service and waiter table service. Our general impression was that pricing tended to be high. The food is good quality. Presentation is nice. I did not feel my dish was as great as it should/ could have been [[HIGHLIGHT]]So...nice ambience, but I won't rush back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I can't believe I haven't written one review on Vitaly! Shame on me. Vitaly has been here for over 17 years, at least! I know I was coming here during my college days and Vitaly is one of the few businesses at the Camp that has been there since the Camp opened! IYKYK!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love this family owned restaurant cafe. Vibe is good and chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love their gelato and coffee and food is high quality and so delicious. I hope they stay here forever because they are one of the personality and backbone of The Camp! Service has always been awesome all the times I've been here and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love their outdoor seatings... so European.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!!!

Vitaly Caffé is located in Costa Mesa's The Camp. It's surprisingly large inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]One part sells coffee and pastries, another serves gelato, and it's a full blown restaurant if you'd liked to dine in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the $3.80 larger iced drip coffee - it was nicely sized for the price and came out quickly. The service here is friendly and fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor, covered seating is cozy and feels very romantic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside has a homey atmosphere to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking can be difficult due to the small parking lot. I'd love to come back to try some of their dishes and gelato!

Ordered eggs americana. I think the only thing missing for the toast is butter. Cassone nettuno, My partner said he regret buying it coz it looks like sad. He said next time he will selevt different one in the menu.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I have visited this vitaly location many times and always love the atmosphere. It's cozy and it's located in the camp so there's a lot of plants and you can smell the aromatics from the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Theres a small bakery and a sit down restaurant outside where you can order pizza, sandwiches, pasta, and Italian drinks like espresso, lattes, and wine. We got two pastas the lasagna made with a green pasta and the tagliolone which was superb and unique. It has a tomato base, squid ink pasta, some seafood, and it was something I have never tried before. Something was off about the lattes both the pumpkin spice and the chai- had a very bitter taste or maybe the issue was the milk. Overall, I had a great Italian lunch and I will come back to try one of their sandwhiches and gelato.

If you are in a mood to catch up with a friend over coffee and some nicely made snacks, this is the place to be. Great Italian style caffe in The Camp. Nice evening ambience too with smaller areas in which to converse. Open fire pit adds really cosy feel heading into winter. You'll love it! The menu is pretty big considering the small space. You can have dinner, ice cream, Italian cookies and coffee, tea and other Italian style drinks. Service is decent. Their coffee is delicious specially cappuccino and latte. Ice cream just ok for my taste. Prices are reasonable. Not cheap but not expensive. Parking is a challenge if you go on weekend evening!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Food, service, and vibe were all amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The smoothie bowl was so fresh and the perfect topping to base ratio. I didn't think I'd like the pizza topping combo but it actually slayed and the crust was so yummy. Only knock is how tiny the biscotti was because it was so delicious I wanted more. Can't wait to come back and try more!!

A great evening for a latte!

I LOVE frequenting this cute little cafe located right at The Camp for some wonderful bites, tasty gelato, and delicious coffee. I really love their pizza as it had great flavor and texture! They've got the best ambiance and a cool small patio area to sit at with a fire pit which my friends and I particularly love. The staff are the best being super friendly and always so nice. I'd highly recommend making a stop here while at The Camp in Costa Mesa!

    Burrata Mediterranea Salad

I loved the Burrata Mediterranea salad. The burrata was so fresh and creamy and compliments well with the prosciutto. The Diavola pizza was also good but a little salty. I can't stop thinking about the salad.

I haven't been to Vitaly Caffe in a while. It was nice to be back! I made a reservation for a Sunday and wasn't sure if it would be busy (it wasn't because it was a gloomy day). I love to sea that they had a reserved table set up for us right near the fire. It was thoughtful, since it was chilly out. My favorite thing about Vitaly is their delicious coffee drinks, gelato, and pastries! It's a great location with great food. My only negative today was the meal I ordered. I got an egg dish and they were really watery and didn't taste very good - had an odd flavor. I'd also love to see some French toast or more sweet brunch items. But, I usually get a salad or flat bread and those have never disappointed!!

How much is the corkage fee?

Hi Janis, thank you for asking, it is $18.00

Do they serve cacio e pepe or spaghetti carbonara?

Hello it is a special request out of our regular menu right now, but we always spaghetti and the ingredients to do a Cacio e Pepe or a Carbonara so Yes we can ;-)

Is this place good for studying?

No, it's more of a place to eat than study. Tables are small and it can get loud.

Can you bring in your own cup for coffee drinks?

    Yes of course :-)

Is there an area where we Can host a baby sprinkle?

It depends on a size of your group. There is a pretty large patio, and I believe it's heated. The area inside of the restaurant isn't that spacious.

I booked reservations through Open Table which was fairly easy, but finding parking in order to make the reservation was SUCH a challenge. The area was so compact and hard to navigate through. Nevertheless, the restaurant was gorgeous. Our server however, was a bit short and left us waiting quite a few times to the point to where we had to ask other servers to assist us. Nothing major but we sat without things like utensils, napkins, etc. We'd also ordered a few drinks and waited a while for those to come as well. Our order was also wrong when brought out, but we didn't make a fuss. Also the restrooms were super small and crowded as well as SUPER humid. There were also these weird pictures of men sitting on the toilets which was pretty disturbing to be in a women's restroom. Idk it was pretty distasteful especially considering this is supposed to be a nicer restaurant. It was a nice spot for aesthetic IG pics. Overall I don't think I'll be coming back, but it was a cool spot to try I guess.

We added garlic and prosciutto to the gluten-free focaccia, and he also enjoyed the pasta. He loved the focaccia so much that he said he'll be coming back just to order it plain to go! I enjoyed my Giuseppe Pizza, Sardinia Sunrise, and lemonade. As a bit of a lemonade aficionado, I have to say the lemonade here is good, not that subpar Minute Maid stuff. Everything was delicious, and we'll definitely be back!

The extraordinary thing about the Pasta Sisters is that they offer house made pastas, which guarantees a higher price point, but offers unparalleled texture. The spaghetti has a "bite" that you get from a true "al dente" pasta. Their cheese tortellini were incredibly rich and cheesy, but a touch salty. The drawback of this location is that it's a ghost kitchen. You order it online and the order will be ready for you when you come in to pick it up. The location does not have seating, and you eat it at your own convenience. If you live/work locally, then this can be definitely worth checking out. Because I live out of town, I have to enjoy it either in my car, after a long drive home, or at my wife's office; however, I want to enjoy these $20 pastas in a restaurant, with wine and good company. A ghost kitchen is very different than a restaurant experience. I hope they do choose to bring their restaurant to the OC one day.

Think of this as a full service night out. Caveat: I got caught in the OC Fair traffic which wasn't fair at all. Once I Wazed to the parking lot I walked in and a Staffer measured my level of angst and suggested I take deep breaths while he lead me to my table in a small cozy dining room. The Decor: An enlarged map of the Autostrada where you can go really fast while dining really slow. Thankfully, there was no blaring loop of Dean Martin telling you what happens when the Moon hits your eye like a big Pizza Pie. Water and wine are offered as soon as you've made your nest. Settle in as the frenetic rush remains outside. You're on Italian time here. This family owned place emphasizes enjoying a leisurely lovely meal of dishes you'll recognize. Filomena's is an O. G. style Red Checkered Table Cloth restaurant with no table cloths. Why should the owners pay for endless laundry even if it is next door. So, when you splash Sunday Gravy (Marinara with meat and plenty of meat drippings) that will never come out of your fancy scoop neck blouse no matter what you try and how much you cry. So, come as casual as you can without being indecent. Who're dining with you? Regulars and those who haven't been regular in years. The Staff: Efficient. My guy took my table's order before going to handle the Girls Night Out party of 22 in the private dining room. "If we don't put your order in now the kitchen will get slammed and you'll wait half an hour for your appetizers and then write a crappy review". The Food: There is an ambitious menu here featuring all things an Italian family would enjoy. In fact, any family would enjoy the classics served here. The large menu offers the usual suspects. All the pasta is house made along with all the Sauces, albeit, most of the Sauces are laced with Cream. Go ahead, show your arteries who's really runnin' the show. The Calamari Fritti was a solid choice. A good sized pile of hands, feet and rings served with Lemon Wedges for the purists and a cup of slightly spicy thick Marinara. The Calamari kept is crackling crispy crunch from the first tubular slice to the last tentacle that reached out. Often Calamari Fritti is good for two bites before it turns into a soggy sponge. Not here as the fry cook knows how to make this just right every night. The added plus is that the portions are heroic and suitable for any Roman Centurion. The Pappardelle with Bolognese consisted of long wide nicely cooked flat noodles with a serious pour of meaty Ragu over the whole works. If you're a giver, there is enough to share with two others. The Wedding Soup came in a bowl you could bathe a German Shepherd in. It began with Carrots, Celery and Onions, floating in a Consomme along with a handful of small light Meat Balls. Forget the wedding night, and just order a second bowl of Soup. The Garlic Bread that came with the Soup was nothing to write home or you about, for that matter. The Bread is outsourced and best for mopping anything you've eaten before the busser shows up to collect the plates. The Linguini Vongole featured Manila Clams in the shell and lots of Clam bits. The Linguini was perfectly cooked and stood up well to the the pleasant Clam chew. This version is what Clam Pasta can be and most often falls short of the mark. The Chicken Parmesan was a Breast pounded thin, breaded, fried and then buried under a chunky Maranara Sauce with a layer of melted Mozz as thick as your favorite flannel shirt. The whole thing was the size of a hub cap. At Filomena's you'll eat like battalions of Italians. I'll be back and I Filomean it.
