I always come here when I'm assigned classrooms to assist in near Colton! While I need to try more items, I can't help but stick to the OG burrito with red salsa and chipotle sauce. Mwah.. soso good. Staff is amicable and friendly! I feel bad when I frequent the spot without my friend haha! Good price for a very fulfilling portion! I will always beast my burrito

Absolutely amazing food! It's a small place so there's not many seats to dine in, but if you're traveling through and looking for vegan food this is absolutely worth the stop. I'll probably come here Avery time I'm headed back to Mexico from now on.

I did take out on a Tuesday night. This place is next to a train track. It is in a sketchy area. There's very limited parking in front. You may park on the side street. The actual restaurant itself is small and dark. There's only 2 tables. Don't come if you have a large group! Surprisingly, both tables were taken. Since I did take out, my food was ready and sitting at the counter. The man was courteous. It seems he's the only one running the show. I decided to eat my food in the car since I wanted to taste it fresh. I did have to lock my door since there were people walking around. There a vape shop right next door with people hanging outside. Anyway, the 100% plant based quesabirria with consume was very good! It almost tasted like the real deal. It was a bit oily. It could also use more "birria". The consume was so good for a vegan broth. I really enjoyed it. I would try it again.

Came here today to have lunch with a friend and I'm surprised that I haven't been here before. I remember when this location was a vegan pizza place but I'm not sure when it became a vegan taco place. Overall the food was good. The jamaica was bomb, better than the horchata imo. The birria quesadilla was my favorite thing but I did not like the consommé. The consomme was like water, no flavor. i thought I was tripping but my friend tried it and without me telling her what I thought, she said the same thing. I would come back for the quesadilla though. The salsa is bomb. I really like their tamales and the burrito i got was good too. overall solid food and i will be back with my family soon!

The food has flavor and good taste. Want to go back & try different items w/ different sauces. Ordered the Birria Tacos w/ rice and beans. The sides are good, not crunchy rice soft and beans have a well rounded flavor. The "birria" sauce taste like ramen broth instead of the meat flavor. Fries were definitely good as a antojitos for two-three. Added green and red sauce, red won over green.

I've had my eye on viva vegan forever, and they started offering delivery through Uber eats to my house. Naturally, I had to give them a try knowing they're a little far from me, but despite that, the food arrived warm and delicious. I ordered pastor nachos and a horchata for me, and I got fries for my toddler. Right after I ordered, I got the notification that they were out of horchata. So sad! It must be super popular. I'll try it next time, no worries. The pastor nachos had the perfect ratio of chips to toppings, which I appreciated. The chips were still crunchy after their half hour commute to me. The vegan pastor was homemade and had the perfect texture. I highly recommend it. There was a lot of pico on top, a lot of beans on the bottom, and the green salsa was on the side as I requested. The cheese sauce was also a great consistency. I really appreciate that they make their own cheese sauce as opposed to offering shredded vegan cheese; it came together well with all of the ingredients. The portion of nachos was huge and I couldn't finish it, despite being super hungry. I gave it my best try though. My daughter likes the fries. They seemed to be seasoned heavily with pepper, which I wasn't sure if she was going to enjoy, but she ate them up! She also tried some nachos and enjoyed my food too. Overall, I had a great experience ordering delivery from viva vegan. I will definitely order again because they have long standing Uber eats promotions that help to cut down the cost. They have huge taco platter, so that will probably be what I try next. I want to try more of their vegan meats like the birria and asada.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for some time and was excited to finally visit it with coworkers. I was surprised when I arrived at the restaurant and realized it was housed in the former location of another vegan restaurant, Vegan Korner. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by an employee. After looking at the menu. I decided to ordered a loaded quesadilla and a single quesabirria taco. My coworkers ordered a taco plate, a chimichanga, and a pulled pork sandwich on sourdough bread with fries and coleslaw. We also ordered water to accompany our food and when the employee accidentally spilled one of the waters, he employee quickly wiped it up. The food was quickly delivered, was flavored well, and delicious. I was happy to eat this restaurant and elated that my non vegan coworkers liked the food good and one coworker even took her remaining food in a to go box. The only slight annoyance is that restaurant space inside is a little cozy with two booth and a side table but other than that, it was an enjoyable experience overall. After having such a good dining experience, I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

I truly have mixed feelings about this location. The first time I went the food was great, it made me want to continue going. The last few visits have not been the best. I will write down the cons and pros in order. CONS 1. The place is very small. 2. A/C is blowing super cold . Everyone I see eat inside is wearing a sweater. 3. Food quality has gone down, the food is mostly bland. 4. Tables and bathroom are dirty. 5. Lately the carne asada has been coming out burnt. 6. It's expensive, I got a OG burrito for almost 14 dollars and it was small. 7. They removed the kids menu due to other adults eating off the kids menu. It's sad that us parents have to pay the consequences. 8. The menu is inconsistent, they keep removing items. 9. They play loud music 24/7, some of the music is not the best for kids. PROS 1. The rice is good. 2. The HORCHATA is super delicious. 3. The people are nice. Now please be aware I haven't tried their birria items so not sure how the flavor is on those items.

Try them out you won't be disappointed. Me and my husband loved our asada burritos and we aren't even Vegan, but man did they taste very similar to the real thing. We were helped right away and the food also came out very quickly. The restaurant itself is small about 3 tables but we had no issue getting one a lot of the orders were to go. We'll be for sure coming back.

This place serves the best jackfruit birria hands down! My favorite is the birria ramen and crunchy birria tacos! I would drive 8 hrs over and over again just to eat here! The consomé is flavorful wit nice mixture of sweet, savory, smoky, earthy and spicy seasonings. They have taken the time to marinate the jackfruit and amazingly resembles that of real carnitas. It is delicious! The cali burrito is pretty yummy too! We love this spot and can't wait to go back! read more

Coming from a not vegan this place it's a 8.5/10 if I was strictly vegan it would be a 10! I try the vegan birria tacos tj style and the crunch from the tortillas was perfect the "birria" was very flavorful. I think next time I'll ask for more limes and some salsa to add some spice to the tacos, the consomé was ok. I also order an Horchata and it was delicious, you can't tell it's vegan. Fresh Chips and salsa when you dine in, very good too. I want to try the Tortas next time, they look delicious. read more

our kids took us there for father's day, and i'm certain i've gained 5 extra lbs. since that one visit. i cannot STOP craving their quesabirrias with the consommé! ugh. so flippin' good, y'all. my poor hubby has driven there multiple times to pick up my order (it's a good 30 minutes from our house) because it's that delicious. and just so you know, i've had quesabirrias at a couple other vegan spots, and i can confirm that viva vegan's cornered the market with this delicious offering. read more

truly the best vegan food in the area! i think about their quesabirrias and consome constantly, and i feel as if their birria is super comparable in taste and texture to the real stuff! the food and salsa is extremely flavorful and leaves you feeling satisfied but not stuffed. food and service has always stayed consistently good. i also enjoy the atmosphere of this small shop and hope they see continued success in the coming years! read more

I was really excited to try this place. Food was okay from a plant based experience. I ordered a vegan quesadilla with jackfruit and carnitas fries. Presentation wise, it was executed nicely. Flavor wise, it was too salty and the sauces did not really blend well with the food. Not sure if I ordered the wrong items but I had higher expectations. Food would've been better if they offered a creamy chiptole or cilantro lime crema sauces. read more

The food is amazing don't get me wrong! I would say it's very overly priced! For example two quesabirrias cost about $16. That's kinda crazy when real ones cost an average of $7-9 for 3. They hardly answer the phones too! Although their food is good I would recommend the vegan taco place in Pomona a lot more! Reasonably priced and their customer service is like no other! read more

A diamond in the rough. This place is located in Colton. The food is yummy. Homemade feeling but with a hint of fancy. Love it! You have to try the drinks too! I love the ambiance, and the service is a plus. They get busy quickly because it's a small place and few workers, but it's worth the wait. We tried the Taco Trio, Ramen (very spicy), and the OG Burrito with Horchata and Watermelon drinks. We gulped all the food. It was delicious! Don't forget to ask for the salsas! If you a vegan food, connoisseur this place is a must! We ordered a bunch of different things to try a little bit of everything since we aren't from the area. So happy finally Viva Vegan has a permanent location. Dropped in to order the Birria Ramen (take home) and potato tacos plate to eat in. And champurrado - which has REAL cinnamon sticks. The server brought out perfect cut up tortilla chips with green salsa. Then my potato tacos plate - 2 potato tacos with cut up slivers of peppers, a bit of cheese & lettuce. And with just the right amount of rice & beans. I was full after but not stuffed. Oh the champurrado - you know it's the real deal despite its non-dairy when you have cinnamon in the cup. Thank you to my server she warmed up the drink for me. I will eat the Birria Ramen tomorrow. Noodles & 'birria' separate from the consume. My 1st experience with them was in Upland. Definitely worth trying. THANK YOU!! SEE YOU SOON!!!! Update: went back to Viva Vegan for more champurrado & birria chimi extra consume and beans. Said I wouldn't go here again due to distance. However, that was before I tried their chorizo taco and orange hot sauce! It's about 20 minutes from my house and I'll happily drive here. Went with the taco plate for like $12ish bucks. So worth every penny. And try the orange sauce. So damn delicious. read more

Let's start with the customer service. The young lady that greeted me and took my order was super friendly! I stopped eating beef a couple of months after Covid started in 2020. I saw a steak and egg burrito on their menu. When I asked her about it, she said that it was really good, which she did not tell me was that it was going to be enough to feed two people not only is it huge it is delicious! The food is amazing, but don't uber eats or door dash they mess up order every time defintely order in person. Example I asked for cheese, pico, n cream on my torta n instead I got guacamole and onions only I ended up adding my own cheese n tomato to make it taste better. In person it's a 5 star they won't mess up your order if ordering in person. read more

I regret stopping by this restaurant. It was so bad, I have to write a review. I've been vegan for 15 years, and experienced some bad vegan food but this is by far, the worst. People are crazy if they're rating this place 3+ stars. I ended up paying about $85, which included a togo order that was forgotten. The overpriced meal was bland and way too salty and the aguas fresca was just sugar water. It's like they were over-salting to make up for their bland food. One bite was enough, I couldn't allow myself to take another. I was honestly glad that they forgot the togo order, I didn't mind taking the loss and my tastebuds thank me. Do better Viva Vegan. Your food may look delectable on instagram but it doesn't live up to the hype. read more

This is easily the BEST vegan food I have ever had. My wife is vegan so from time to time I eat at vegan restaurants. Whenever I do I always feel like I paid full price for college dorm room food. I could see myself eating at viva vegan if I'm in the area weather my wife is there or not. read more

Is the staff fully Covid-19 vaxxed? I can't find anything about it on their socials?

Hopefully not. If they are vegan and then put an untested vaccine in their body would make me question if they are truly vegan! Plus the fact covid is long gone.

Instead of being tender and practically melting in your mouth, they took a bit of work to eat. If they can improve the quality of their protein, this would easily be a 5-star ramen spot. Being misinformed and treated this way made us feel uncomfortable and discriminated against, and we ultimately chose to leave. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures their staff are properly trained on ADA guidelines so this does not happen to anyone else.

As soon as we walked in, Brandon greeted us with such a warm welcome. He took the time to explain the menu and all of the specials, which we really appreciated. There were six of us, so we ordered a little bit of everything and honestly, not a single dish disappointed. Every bite was packed with flavor, and even our one non-vegan family member couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. I ordered the Spicy Chik Sandwich with sweet potato fries and a side of buffalo wings. SO. GOOD. The "chicken" had the perfect crispy crunch, and the flavor was incredible. My sister ordered the special "asada" fries, and wow... I haven't had carne asada in almost 10 years, and these completely satisfied a craving I've had for years. They were absolutely delicious. Of course, we couldn't leave without dessert! We tried both the chocolate cake and the carrot cake, and as someone who loves a good carrot cake, it definitely did not disappoint. We also picked up some of their vegan jerky, which was surprisingly delicious. It was the perfect snack to take home. Seriously, there were no misses here. I know this makes me sound a little greedy, but I have a hard time standing and walking, so it's really great to be able to take care of breakfast lunch and dinner for my whole family in one stop. The service is great here. I've never had to wait for more than 10 minutes for my food to be cooked fresh. The staff are friendly. I like that. The restaurant looks like a converted fast food place. They have daily specials. When we went, it was a Friday and the special was the fish tacos. The servers were friendly, but the bathroom is locked and restricted to customers. Honestly, the place is off the beaten track in an odd place in the city where it is unlikely we'll go there again. The food was average, so we probably won't be back.
