Just had a Vons delivery that originated at this location. Why do you have a pork loin with an expired date ? Over 10days old? Like seriously no employee in the meat dept noticed it was expired? Do better & clear out EXPIRED meat!

Nicol is so talented! She makes such beautiful flower arrangements. This is my go to place for flowers arrangements for any occasion instead of a flower shop. Their prices are so much lower than any flower shop. Flower shops fill arrangements with greenery instead of actual flowers and Vons doesn't. They do a great job at planning ahead for major occasions so they don't run out of flowers. Very satisfied with their floral department.

This 5 star review is for Cami in the Floral department. I've had several floral arrangements done here and they never disappoint! Cami has done the last 2 of them. It's nice giving her a budget and letting her do her thing. You can tell she enjoys what she does and the flowers are always beautiful. Thank you!

Esmeralda customized my cake last minute and made it absolutely perfect, she was so sweet and i definitely recommend going here!

Von's bakery did it again! I saw this cake at Susie's bakery for $195 & asked Vons if they could make it. They exceeded my expectations & it looks even better than Susie's for 1/4 of the price!! Thank you for making my Malibu Barbie cake dreams come true!!

Parking can be tough since this place is always crowded. There are table seatings were you can eat and also TV screen and bar for drinks. I've tried the tacos, the crispy chicharron and the churros. Overall fun place to come with friends, would love to try margo my next visit!

Affordable price points - I understand this is a tough economy - HOWEVER I have heard the pricing can fluctuate between this gentrified version and other locations throughout traditionally lower socioeconomic areas - which is fine -- I get it - it's a nice flagship store - you're capitalizing on the nuances and novelty of it all- which again. Whatever -- I do however notice in the few weeks - as a regular weekly customer - the same exact items that I get have DROPPED IN QUALITY while simultaneously INCREASING IN PRICE!!! And we aren't talking about small cost of living increases - these are dabbling if not diving full fucking head first into price gouging. EG - my favorite Vanilla shake & mini churro combo that used to save me a dollar on if I buy the items individually ( I think it was $12-)15?) UP TO $17. No more mini churros. I don't even think I saw them on the menu anymore -- aka you're forced to pay for larger sizes and prices. . . Which one would think ok ... that's somewhat fine -- BUT NO. The smoothie I've been buying for over a year and a half now - ALMOST on a weekly basis - is so fucking WATERY. It's ricidiculous. It used to be so thick and cream and decadent. I've been wondering for the last month wtf is it a new employee -- has my shake been sitting here melting away the last 4-5 weeks? No. It's fresh off the blender and just thinner across the board. Such a shame. Same thing for my lovely Chicken Asado Verde Soup - WAS FUCKING AMAZING !!! And the price point was something like 32 ox for $12. I used to rant and rave with coworkers and friends that this soup is spectacular and although pricey at "$12" (for me) - I went it again over the months - and thought I want some delicious soup that taste like grandmas. I ordered it - I noticed the new slew of containers. Didn't think much. Glances at the prices - said I'll take the large - WHICH IS A NEW "family style" My $12 portion - SAME SIZE NOW - $32 (yes) THIRTY EFFING TWO DOLLARS. Call me a fat ass - but that CANNOT feed - maybe an Ethiopian or anorexic family - but for one moderately high BMI - American. Which I get everything is fucking super sized - but to see price points increase SIGNIFICANTLY - while decreasing quality - seems like a quick recipe for distaste that I hope whomever is managing the restaurant presto side of things - really advocates for the quality and fair price points that made this flag ship a store to love. I hate to bitch and moan - and I'm sure my volunteer group won't want to change our flexible situation - but I've began to notice people just bring outside food in - and have their meals with us. Which is fine - I might have to do the same - because come on - upping pricing. Lowering quality. It's like Matilda's father throwing sawdust in the engine. Be better. Anyways heed my warning - at those price points for *certain* premade items - just take your ass to Erewhon - at least I expect my ass is going to hurt when I leave.

The grocery is good for what to expect for any Asian market but the main attraction is the food court. It may not seem like much but all of them are really good and would fill up your hunger instantly. My favorites from the top of my head are the Katsu Don if I remember correctly and the Udon section where you pick your tempura (don't know the exact name). Overall good place to eat lunch or even dinner. Another problem would be finding a seat since there's hardly any tables and your plate is pretty big and bowls are heavy so you have to be somewhat quick to find a seat. The ambiance is fine but that's kind of to be expect in any supermarket, which is usually crowds talking and all. I really don't have much to say. Ever since this place closed down the anime shop, the DVD store, and bookstore, this place pretty much lost what made Mitsuwa special and worth visiting. Especially for someone who's into both anime and tokusatsu like Super Sentai (Japanese Power Rangers). Those places are what got me my first Gundam model kit (Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed) and my go to place for Japanese DVDs as mentioned (Gokaiger, Kyoryuger, and Nanoha). I understand why they close down these stores, especially with streaming services and online shopping are a thing, even though I don't fully agree as they are customers like me that would prefer in-store physical copies. That is why I deduct one star. These are replaces with a gachapon store, a Matcha store, a Boba store I believe and Daiso. The matcha and boba place (forgot the names sorry) are surprisingly good. I really like the matcha ice cream in a bowl and I believe the Doncha. The gachapon I cannot say as I never spend money there and I'm not into these gacha machines and I rarely buy anything in Daiso as its just your typical convenience store that sells some Japanese stuff so I won't say much. In conclusion, it's a very nice spot to eat Japanese meals and especially something to fill you up for the day while also shopping to buy Japanese food to cook at home. Just be aware this is pretty pricey, especially the Royce matcha chocolates and the food court.

The staff was kind and helpful and there appeared to be a lot of locals enjoying their meals out in their outdoor seating area. While the market had a bunch of fun fermented offerings, the food that I ordered from their cafe was not exactly what I expected. I ordered the chili and spicy kraut grilled cheese combo. The portions were on the smaller side but given it was lunch I didn't really mind. I was more let down by the lack of flavor in their grilled cheese, the spicy kraut was neither spicy and just didn't really add much aside from texture. The chili on the other hand was delicious so that partially redeemed the meal for me. My boyfriend got their bone broth which was very very light and needed additional seasoning though. While I love what they're trying to build here, I'm not sure if I'd go back.
