Very nice selection of beers. I'm not a big Sour beer fan, but the one they have is very good and not overpowering. The food we had was pretty good. The brisket dip with chips was very tasty and really good. Also had the brisket grilled cheese. It wasn't horrible but could've been better. The brisket was somewhat dry and could be much moister. As for the cheese there wasn't much at all. It definitely needs more cheese. A grilled cheese, even with brisket, should have melted cheese overflowing. The brewery itself is a very nice size with two floors and two bars, one on each floor. The bartenders were very good and knowledgeable in regard to the beers. Definitely give it a try read more

Went for an event (Maker's Market) and had a great time. The vendors were all different and interesting. Didn't eat, but loved the atmosphere. Service was excellent, Jaime W is the bomb! Tried Thunder Lizard and actually liked it - kind of a grapefruit flavor. Will be back to try the food another time. Hope they keep adding events as the upstairs is made for them. read more

Honestly, I have the Pub Pass so been to many breweries. Voodoo has the most welcoming crew from Jamie behind the bar to Dominique and Paul in the kitchen. Friendly and welcoming as can be. And the food and beer is GREAT! read more

Voodoo Brewing is from Pittsburgh (where I'm from!) so I was so excited to see it in my new neighborhood! Our food and drinks were good on both experiences, but the staff is very new and there is still some confusion. On our first visit we sat upstairs, which started out very very quiet until so many families arrived. I understand this isn't really a brewery, but an actual restaurant, but I didn't expect there to be so many babies and little kids running around. Instant turnoff especially since we wanted to have some drinks before heading to a concert. Otherwise, our experience was great. I ordered the spicy seared salmon bowl and my boyfriend got the cheesesteak hoagie served on our hometown Mancini's roll. Even the homemade chips were delicious. Loved our food and prices are reasonable! I ordered a beer flight so I could try a few different ones and I enjoyed all of them! Especially the stout - so good! I had a few questions for our server like what the flavor of the green beer was and he wasn't sure. I also didn't see flights on their menu, so I asked if they did them. I wasn't sure what the price would be either. Also we never got an itemized receipt, so I'm really not sure what the prices were lol. When a food runner brought out our food I asked for silverware and he notified us that it was a self serve station. We felt more prepared with all this info for the second visit and decided to sit downstairs hoping there would be less little kids. It was a better atmosphere and our server was attentive. We saw on Instagram that they offer happy hour and were excited that all drinks are discounted. I had a paloma cocktail and a ranchwater cocktail, and my boyfriend tried the wild berry seltzer since they weren't sold out this time. We both enjoyed our drinks. I ordered the tots since I saw a photo on their Yelp page and they looked delicious! It says served with cajun ranch on the menu. The server brought us tots that were a totally different preparation with kimchi, onions, and bang bang sauce. They were just ok and not what we were expecting at all, especially since my boyfriend is not a fan of kimchi. This time I tried the ahi tuna poke bowl and it was delicious. Overall the food and drinks are really good, but there is still some confusion as they literally JUST opened. We will continue to go back and try more items soon! read more

Went there on an early Saturday evening and sat down at an open table. Staff walked by us plenty of times without acknowledgment and said will be with you in a minute. After five minutes, we grabbed menus from another table and they said that's what they had to do too. While looking at the menu, the staff continue to walk by us numerous times without acknowledgment. We decided to go to an Uber and see if the Uber got there before the waitress. It did in fact meet the waitress so we just left. read more

The Voodoo Brewing Co - Jacksonville location has a spacious and stylish atmosphere after recent renovations. It looks really nice and there is plenty of seating. However, the service was very disappointing. Upon arrival around 10 PM on a Friday, the staff was very disengaged, and the "please seat yourself" sign didn't address the many dirty tables. We sat at the bar, but it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us. Additionally, we were informed that the kitchen was closed only after trying to order food. While there is a good selection of beers from Voodoo Brewing and other local breweries, the poor service is really deterring... maybe it'll get better in the future. It'll be a while before we try this place again. read more

Was my first trip there. Was kinda reluctant with the beer that was brewed there after trying a couple, so i had something I was familiar with. We got a pretzel with the beer cheese and beer mustard and sat outside. Zack came out and checked on us 3 times, asking us how things were, i asked about the mustard, if it was made there, his second trip to check in us he sold us on Wynonna's Big Brown ale. Dont know where you got Zack at , but this guy is great about taking care of his guests, and is fluent with your products he represents. Great family and friend option for an afternoon outing. Many people were watching the Olympics in family or with fiends I went for lunch and a drink had a stout that was very good pretzel 10/10. The food is great! There are some lukewarm reviews and even bad reviews but I come here a couple times a week and love this place! The burgers are amazing! Also a big fan of the brisket grilled cheese. They had some service issues in the first few days but don't let that deter you. They're getting into their groove and the food is just honestly great. Came here on a whim after we saw the outside and the menu. Was packed and seat yourself- we were immediately greeted by staff who directed us up stairs where there were more tables. We found a seat right away. There were board games to play with, live music, and an old school video game. We were greeted promptly by our server with menus. We ordered 2 apps, our meals, and drinks. There were 4 of us total. My brother tried to order a Paloma and they were out but gave him an extra margarita that was made his girlfriend ordered a Mojito that never came. I said something to the server and he said he would check the bar to get it and then came back five minutes later and asked what he was checking on. After a few minutes, our apps came out with my brother's burger. The nachos were very skimpy however, we did modify them to no meat. I would not order these again. We order the tots and they were very good but they were small after about 20 minutes with my brother to eat his burger because he didn't want to get cold and the rest of our entrées didn't come. Eventually, the other entrees came out one by one separated by 5 to 10 minutes each. The only entrée that was good was the pickle pizza. The picture of the kids chicken nuggets is exactly how they were served- which was disappointing. By the time we were done eating, we were ready for the check we paid, and then the server never returned with our receipt. We asked another staff member to have him get the receipt. It was not itemized so we have no idea what we were charged for how much we paid for everything we tipped and left. The server did not deserve a tip with the service that was provided but I do not believe in not leaving 20%. Would not recommend and will not be back. There are plenty of other places in San Marco that are much better. read more

Chickpea quinoa burger and chips were delicious. Quinoa shrimp bowl was average. Beer and service were great. Pretzel was awful. Don't bother ordering it. They don't make it on premises and it's doughy and tasteless. Great atmosphere. Could use to kick it up a notch with quality of food, but then again it is a brewery. read more

Beer was the highlight of our visit. The beer cheese was chunky/clumpy and food came out almost room temperature. They seem like they are working on figuring out service and it shows. No silverware with food, no water, etc. If you're offering a service based restaurant/brewery then those are the first steps. Wicked barley does this well with the same brewery style. We went here for the first time for lunch. Arrived at 11:55am. We were the only people in the restaurant, they took our drink and food orders right away. We ordered steak sandwiches, so nothing crazy. We waited, waited, and waited more, keep in mind the only people in the establishment that ordered. At 12:35 still no food, we got up and left. Another couple walked in while we were waiting and nobody took their order the whole time they sat there (15 minutes until we left). We walked in to a sign that told us to sit wherever, sat down right in front where any waiter could see us and walk right past us.
