Don't let the outside deter you from going in. We weren't sure what to expect with the mannequin legs/table outside the front door, but inside is actually very nice. I attended a work happy hour here. There is ample seating at the bar and in general. They have 2 pool tables and a few big screen tvs around the room. They also have lots of fun New Orleans themed decor, including a beaded piano. The drinks are good. They are on the strong side. They offer french bread pizzas (think Stouffer's) that are ok. So I just got off of work and I was searching for a cocktail bar to have a few craft cocktails. I settled on Voodoo Too because it was open, within a few blocks from me, and according to Google, moderately priced. I walk in to a virtually empty bar. The atmosphere is nice, the bar looks clean and well stocked, the chairs look very comfortable. I sit at the bar and the bartender glances at me and says "hi" and continues her conversation with the other guest that's here. I get comfortable and she approaches me and asks for my ID. I hand. It over and she asks what I want. I order the cocktail called Embalming Fluid- it sounds fun. She makes my drink and upon serving, she tosses the napkin down in front of me, puts the drink down (not on either of the napkins she threw down), says nothing, and walks away. Okay, rude. I guess her conversation is way more important. I taste the cocktail and it tastes like straight cough syrup. I'm not the kind of guest to return something I order just because I don't like it. It's tolerable. I can squeeze past the taste for a light buzz. To make matters worse, the bartender does not ask me if I would like to start a tab or close out she simply tosses me my receipt and walks away. Overall I am not impressed nor will I ever return. First impressions are everything. Even sitting here still at the bar she has not asked me how I like my drink or if there's anything else she can get for me. I am a server/bartender myself and this service is seriously lacking. I'm disappointed. I will be paying for this drink and going to my next choice of cocktail bars. read more

Came here on a Thursday night around 8:30. The bar is really spacious and clean. They have plenty of TVs with different games on at any given moment. Our bartender was Rachel P. and she was super awesome. I ordered a "Jamaican Me Crazy" drink special which ran for $8.00. I'm not sure what was in it, but it was super tasty! The drink made me feel like I was on a tropical beach somewhere! LOL. My friend ordered another special off the menu and said she liked it...so much that she had a second! I can't give a TRUE rating into this place as I wasn't there long and only interacted with one bartender BUT I can rate the bartender. I went in with a group of three friends. Pool table/slot machines/juke box made for a good atmosphere. There was a wide assortment of liquor available and our (double) Bloody Mary's were made from scratch instead of a pre-made mix. By looking at the Yelp pictures and reviews, my BF and I expected something else. However, we were definitely pleasantly surprised that it has more of an upscale sports bar feel. We ordered the Voodoo Bloody Mary. The bartender was very nice asked how we liked them and gave us more hot sauce and Worcestershire. Back in June I had the good fortune to visit New Orleans and Voodoo Two was at the end of the street that our discrete AirBnB was located. We kept meaning to stop in all week and finally popped in before a concert close to our last night in town. Mixed impression of the place. Loved the space and the decor; it's relaxing, open and casual. Problem, if it was that, was that we took a seat near the window, it was in no way crowed but the bartender (and apparently the only on working at the time ) never wandered over to see if we wanted anything. The three of us were having a nice conversation but still noticed the absence of attention. There were a few people at the bar who were served but other than that it was quiet. I'm not sure if it's just a thing that you're supposed to wander up and order something or what, but it did detract from the experience. We didn't stay more than 20 minutes in any case, but it left a bit of an impression. Still, all in all, it might be worth a look if you're in town and looking for a spot to hang out. read more

Voodoo Two is a big, bright bar with lots of floor space, places to sit and real estate in front of the bartenders. The bartenders are attentive, the prices are great and the crowd is a full mix of all types. I liked all the space and the number of different places to sit or stand, and the internet jukebox on the wall is also a plus. My only reservations were that the music was a little too loud and the lights a little too bright. A little less volume and we wouldn't have had to shout; a little less glare and we would have been a lot more relaxed. Otherwise a nice bar. read more

Lightly traveled, at least early on. Attentive staff, very clean, wide variety of beverages. Decor and "jukebox" are awesome. In a town where it's common to encounter insolent bar staff or perhaps merely apathetic service, the staff here are social, adept, and attempt to engage the customer. All in all, a delightful place to visit. If "Cheers" had modern eclectic decor and drink offerings, it'd be a lot like Voodoo Two. read more
