Makala was SUPERB, Very Friendly, extremely accommodating and super attentive. Tom the manager stopped by and was super nice and informative as well. Had another great experience at V's Taproom. We started with the Pineapple Habanero Margarita and it was delicious, perfectly balanced with just the right kick. We tried the Tombstone Brewing Winter Ale and it wasn't for us (way too heavy on the cinnamon flavor), but Carson was super nice and happy to swap it out for a different beer, which we really appreciated. For food, we ordered the beet salad and the Picasso pizza and both were solid choices. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, just like we've come to expect here. We love the atmosphere, the food is always good, and the service is friendly. One tip: it's usually busy, so I definitely recommend putting your name in early or joining the waitlist on Yelp ahead of time. Overall, a great spot and we'll definitely be back. read more

We go here often and always have a good experience. I got a free dessert for my birthday on our last visit! The filet mignon is always cooked perfectly. We get on the wait list early and wait at home which is nice. I would prefer if they'd take reservations though. read more

I have just one word....WOW! We had been told by several neighbors how great this place was so we had to try it. We sat at the bar and Jordyn was quick to get our drink order. She was so awesome but we were disappointed when she said she was leaving. She was friendly, welcoming and kept an eye out for anything we might need. I had the filet mignon that I scarfed so fast it was almost embarrassing. Hubby had the fish and chips and he thought they were some of the best he's ever had. Overall we would highly recommend this place. Don't be discouraged by a full parking lot. They have lots of room and their employees are top notch and move their customers quickly. The only issue I have is that I had the filet my first time there and I feel like that's going to be hard to beat. read more

I've been coming here for a while, we live 5 Mins away so it's kinda our local spot to go for happy hour and a decent steak, yall This guy Joey carries the entire energy of the room, he makes people laugh, he makes people feel good. I truly have been waiting to come here here for so long and when mommasita didn't want to come out I took abuela. We truly had an amazing time at lunch with the best service I could have asked for. The macaroni and cheese with the burnt ends are the best I've ever had. And the old fashioned is one of the best I've ever had. The view of the golf course with the water feature is beautiful. The service here with top notch! Our waitress made sure our drinks never ran dry and the manager would come around to make sure that we were doing OK. We brought our baby with and felt completely comfortable having a child there as there were many other children. They have a brick oven for the pizzas and the facility was extremely clean with a relaxed golfer vibe on the golf course at trilogy. The view here was spectacular and there were many people here after golf or just having a Saturday afternoon lunch. It was too hot for us to sit outside, but they have a beautiful outdoor terrace go dining. My husband got the millionaire burger which is about $21 and I got the bourbon brisket barbecue burger, which was about the same price and they did not disappoint! I got the sweet potato waffle fries for an upgraded one dollar and my husband got the garlic herb truffle fries. All of the food was extremely good. We are planning to come back for drinks one night at their bar. read more

We have been going to V's for several years. The patio which mentioned in other reviews is lovely; it is covered, has misters and a water feature which overlooks the golf course. The meatballs are always a favorite, as well as the oven fired pizza's; they also make a mean espresso martini. Service in the dining portion is generally on target. The one con I've experienced is, if you're sitting anywhere where you're reliant on service from the bartenders, it will taint your experience. The bartenders are very busy and due to this, there should be wait staff in the bar. Also, if you sit outside in the portion that is not covered by waitstaff (extended patio), you're reliant on bartenders who are busy, and you may stand and wait for a drink for quite a while. Also, the place where you are asked to stand and wait is awkward, because you're in a portion where people are constantly trying to get through - almost a hallway for waitstaff and patrons. In my opinion, V's needs to re-think this portion of their service. Overall, we enjoy going back and they have a decent happy hour from 4-6pm. V's is a staple to the Vistancia community and the majority of the time, we do receive good service! read more

We had a party at 10 and we got on the waitlist and they see that this fairly quickly, most of our party ordered the burnt ends and macaroni and cheese was delicious. The meh: Service can be hit and miss depending on who you get. Like it can be stellar with one server and other servers forget that they had tables. The ugly: If you like patio seating, be weary. The Food is always on point! Great work chef! We tried the burnt ends this time and thought it deserved a review. They were tender and explosive with flavor- must be a house/scratch sauce! Then it comes with Mac n cheese which complimented the plate like a happening party! The green beans are also included - not my favorite- maybe mash potatoes should be added . Great service from Zach the bartender and his backups - their services was on point like a tag team. Jordy was in on the party providing great service like always ! It was a crazy busy Sunday, Which is a result of our beautiful weather and the patio ambiance. I almost forgot to mention the meatball appetizer- it is my go to! They are like no others - I need to remember to request extra bread. It only comes with one small piece, which is a crime! The finale- vanilla old fashioned- was the perfect ending. Failed. We been here many times, I just don't write a review for each visit. 12/3/25 Wednesday 5:00 for late Thanksgiving/Anniversary dinner. We used your "call ahead seating" and we're right on time. We were placed on the patio for our party of 6. Upon seating I requested the heater and the hostess said our server would get that for us. Upon our server greeting us she said "she doesn't mess with the heaters but she'll have someone turn one on". For 30 FULL MINUTES we watched several staff attempt to light them and change out tanks for the ENTIRE patio before there was ever any heat for our table. Why you would wait until the rush to tend to the only way you can seat your outdoor patio on a cold night is beyond me. Our server took our order early on and the food came out shortly after the heater was turned on. She stopped by right after the food was delivered and we never saw her again. The plates were never cleared. We wanted to order dessert, but no one would acknowledge we were done. Eventually half our party left and I had to go inside to find out server so we could pay. She returned to the table to drop the credit card transition, again never clearing the table or acknowledging the lack of service and lack of heat. Terrible experience. read more
