Our family has been frequenting V's since we moved here in 2016. Great ambiance and we love the back patio. The staff are always courteous and provide us with extra attention as my daughter is in a power wheelchair. The food is great and constantly revolving. My son will fight anyone over the pretzel bites- best he's ever had. Whenever family comes to town we make sure to spend one meal at V's. read more

Ok I hate to give them a bad review because every time we dine in, it's excellent. But EVERY SINGLE TIME we've ordered take out, there is SOMETHING wrong. My youngest always orders the grilled cheese and today was the first time it was actually grilled (with melted cheese this time!!). Which was impressive. My Cobb salad however? Had barely ANY lettuce. How does the CHEAPEST ingredient get treated like that? This was my tipping point. So tired of ordering take out from V's when they don't care about consistency with their dine in meals vs their take out meals. And this salad was $17. To skimp on the lettuce of a $17 salad is pretty bad. When I order this salad in the restaurant, I half it to eat the next day at lunch. That wasn't possible with this take out version. Don't fall in love with anything on the menu that isn't pizza. They will more than likely get rid of it due to constantly changing a menu that doesn't need it. Two of mine and my husband's favorites dishes have been removed over this past year. Disappointing. We're in town visiting family and wanted to eat somewhere close by. We sat outside where they have a beautiful ambiance. The service here was awesome and the food was even better! This place is the worst! Lack of any attention and service to people on the patio. Need to get up and get own drinks. We were set to be seated for four at 5:30pm and asked to add two more people. A matter of a couple chairs. Instead it took about two hours longer to be seated at all. Essentially, they placed us at the bottom of the list. Literally, every other person that was waiting was seated, fed, and gone before we even got to a table. On top of that, it is sub par food. Don't waste your time. read more

We live in the community and have been going to V,s for 5 years. Food and service have always been good. But, last night we experienced service above and beyond normal. It was a bit cold and rainy so a patio table near a heater was needed. We were seated with one heater nearby at the open end of the end of the patio. Mr. Scott saw our shivering bodies and moved another heater nearby us. This entailed several moves due to empty propane tanks. He changed it all and made sure we were warm. I don't think this was his job (I think he was a busboy). What great service! Thank you John for making our evening enjoyable. read more

We have gone to V's several times, one of our go to's when we want to eat out. I just reliezed I hadn't left a review yet. Recently the service has been lacking, not attentive, having to wait longer, etc. But the food makes up for the recent lack of service. On December visit: The ambiance is always relaxing and elegant, with views of the golf course and water. The service is friendly and the menu has a variety of dishes to suit different tastes and preferences. We opted to share two appetizers. The wonton tacos, super crispy shell stuffed with juicy flavorful short ribs. The meatballs are a must! Very generous portion and flavorful sauce. We had extra sauce so got an extra order of the garlic bread that comes on the side. For cocktails: I had a double espresso Martini, one of the many cocktails that the restaurant offers. On my November visits: it was a beautiful day so we sat out on the patio. We try to sit on the patio any chance we can. I really enjoyed the watermelon salad, the pine nuts and fennel are a great compliment. We also got the French dip to share and it was fantastic. It was easy to share, we let them know in advance and they brought us an extra au juice. For cocktails: I got the strawberry basil Martini, it was a perfect drink for a sunny day. Sweet but not too sweet as there is some lemon in there. I highly recommend the V' Taproom to anyone who is looking for a great dining experience on a golf course. The food, the drinks, atmosphere are all top-notch. It is a place that I will definitely visit again. read more

Great local bar with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. We are always satisfied with food until they recently changed their menu. Not a fan of artichoke dip it is reheated and then put into a skillet. I shared the pulled pork sliders with my mom the other day and they were amazing. I've been here many times for happy hour and have reviewed at least one time before. At that point, I believe I degraded their "blue cheese"dressing. That was well-deserved and it has not improved in the meantime. This time I tried their BLTA. As a BLT goes, this is definitely one. It's OK. However, I did not realize that tomatoes were selling at the price of platinum. Their tomato was sliced so thin you could read a newspaper through it. Utterly ridiculous! read more

This is a nice little restaurant with inside and outside seating plus a bar area. The wait gets pretty long on a weekend night; we heard them say 2 hours last night when we were leaving on a Saturday night. We got there about 3:30 and were seated inside right away. They do have an option to join the wait list on Yelp, which is nice. I like the brick oven pizza. The bbq chicken was a good option. The cookie dessert came out a little burnt, but it was still good. The stir fry was a little bland, the garlic fries and prime rib sandwich were decent. We enjoyed the potstickers and pretzels bites as appetizers/starters. The kid liked her cheeseburger and fruit. Happy hour daily knocked a couple bucks off both appetizers. Would definitely come back when in the area. read more

Their menu is not too big but solid all the way around. My favorite is the prime rib beef dip. Do t sleep on their pizza options either! The bar is quaint inside, but the outer part of the bar is the scene to be at. Like every bar in Arizona, try to avoid peak snowbird season if you can. The patio is also a good spot to have a pint after golf at the challenging Vistancia Golf course. Great servers too. Service and food was delivered and prepared well. Managers follow up on all tables to make sure everyone is satisfied with meal. Would recommend the managers walk around the perimeter and direct cleaning the back areas of restaurant keeping gate closed. Restrooms have an oder needing to be detailed cleaned. Floor corners, walls and counters cleaned and inspected hourly. These areas are getting worse on recent visits. Will post pictures next time if not addressed. read more
