Ok, first off never again will I go here or send my any of my buddys here!…read moreThomas seems like nice guy but nice guys finish last" Took my truck to the pit crew witch is only one person by the way! I took monument car parts advice to go to this place, lesson learned there as well! I didn't mind paying $357 bucks to replace my Radiator but I shouldn't have put 2 Quirts retransmission fluid in after paying $357 bucks (seriously) To top it off my truck was supposed to be ready? Thomas said come get it it's ready that was 5pm by the way! So I get there and he's just started on it 7:45pm WTF.. he said I had some errands I had to run Really)))) Thats how you run your business? Wow) I didn't feel comfortable so went over EVERYTHING my self for personal reassurance. I don't normally do the review thing but had to let the world know whats out there. Next time I'll do much more research instead of taking advice from car parts store, (thats my bad!

Run, run far away from this company. Debbie Padgett, or Debbie Haisma, the owner is a fraud and…read moresuper unethical. We dropped our company van off because the rebuilt pos transmission she installed on it just at a year ago, failed miserably. She was trying to fight us on not getting it covered under the warranty and it took her 11 days, to finally converse with GM to get the replacement that they agreed to cover the cost and labor. That isn't even the best part! This sorry excuse for a mechanic, went behind our backs and installed a radiator without giving us a bid prior and without our AUTHORIZATION! Can we say illegal transaction? When the transmission was finally done, she emails us an estimate for almost $1000.00 for the radiator. I responded with we will not be approving the radiator or anything else. Her response was , she already installed it!!! What!?! Excuse me? She had her employee back her up and lie with her saying we verbally approved it, just so he didn't get fired, like the 100 other people that she has either fired or left in previous years. I tried fighting the charge with her, but she wouldn't talk to me directly anymore. She only wanted to speak with my non confrontation "yes man" "mr. nice guy" husband to coerce him to pay for it. And what ends up happening? She uses her money maker and he ends up paying it. Furious not only with her but with my idiot husband. She stole almost $1,000.00 from us that we needed to use for my cancer treatments next week. And yes, she knew about the cancer diagnosis as she was supposed to be a "friend". This company was so much better when her husband ran it. He built a great company and she destroyed it and his good name. BTW she is also running a new scam business that has to do with farming, natural cancer remedies and financial donors. She also went behind our backs and spoke with strangers about our cancer diagnosis to try to get them to give her money! Run!! Never do business with this fraud!!! P.S. Check out her business incorporation status on the California Secretary State's website under The Pit Crew. Both her incorporation entities were suspended by the State Tax Board for failure to file a tax return and or pay her taxes. Unethical to the extreme! Buyer beware!!!!

I got rear ended two times in 6 months and we took both vehicles to this shop for estimates on…read morerepairs and both times they were ultimately deemed losses. The first time I understood, the car was old. I had no problems with the service and returned to them again for my next car. I had issues with the service from the very beginning, some of which were also due to lack of coordination with insurance companies, but overall I did not like the shop's handling of it. Insurance sent over a request for a work order, but then erroneously cancelled it. I called to set up an appointment to bring in my car and G&C told me they could see the work order but it was cancelled. I set the appointment date and contacted the insurance to say the autobody shop thought this work order was cancelled. Insurance guy texts me back that it is uncancelled and then set me up with a rental car to start the same day as the appointment. Well, I went to the appointment a week later and g&c said the order had never been uncancelled. This ultimately is the insurance's fault I guess, but some sort of failure of communication between all parties took place, and I wasted my time bringing in a car to an appointment where they didn't have permission to evaluate it it. I left and got things straightened out-- brought my car back 2 days later, not a big deal, and the insurance approved the repair estimates. Then g&c increased their repair estimates, but it was still covered. Next g&c had to get a part for my car which took time. Then that part came damaged/not up to par. Great, thanks for looking out for me. They had to order another new part, which took like ten days to arrive, while my car is just sitting there and I'm still in a rental. Finally it came in and then they started to actually work on my car and suddenly they told the insurance my car was a total loss. This turned into a big ordeal where that insurance company had to tap out and we had to change to our insurance policy covering the claim, but during that whole process NO ONE from the autobody shop bothered to call me or reply to my texts for nearly two weeks. I specifically texted them for updates/explanations and was not responded to for days and days and then I had to call THEM for them to explain to me it wasn't just the cost of repairs that increased, my car was irreparable. This car was only a few years old and had 12k miles on it. I don't know what happened to it after, but I imagine it still had life to it, since it was still perfectly drivable. I don't know cars, but it probably sold well as a salvage car. Sus. Anyway, this shop kept my car for a MONTH AND A HALF, didn't communicate with me for the last two weeks, got paid to store the car while doing nothing most of that time, and wasted my time by not accurately accessing the damage. I am not someone who normally would write a negative review, but looking back I really am dissatisfied with my experience with this business and God forbid anything happens to my new car, I will not be returning here again.

Because of its great engineering, they are powerful machines... but because of it's great engineering, they take so much time, effort, and money to maintain. I have an E46 M3 that was exhibiting power decreases, and loud rumblings inside. SJ said he could take on the project. Long story short, it took 3 weeks of diagnostics, swapping parts, finding new issues, and trying new things to finally get this thing to run properly. SJ communicated all his work and thought processes VIA text/phone as I live in Southern California. He was honest, and let me know exactly what he wanted to do, what he did, and why he couldn't do certain things. He went ABOVE and BEYOND what a normal mechanic should do, and that is why I will continue to bring my BMW (and this is probably the last BMW I will ever want to purchase sans an E30) to him as long as he's there. They had instructed me to purchase the new correct TPMS from monument auto parts down the street, which I did before the service and everything appeared to be installed correctly. Second Experience: Fast forward a year later and I had a different vehicle with tires I already owned and liked and new rims in the trunk and requested that they install the new rims with the existing tires. I asked before starting the service if I needed to go get some new TPMS sensors from monument for which the manager responded with "no I sell the TPMS sensors now and also we can see if we can reuse the old ones". Tells me 30 min later or so that they were able to reuse the old TPMS sensors and I was on my way 1hr or so later. Paid $160 for the service and went on my way. A few days later I start getting a large vibration in the steering while driving on the freeway and took the car to America's tire company to inspect the wheels to see if they needed to be rebalanced. They said they opened one tire when they could hear something inside and found the TPMS senors had been taped on the inside of the rim but had came loose and was rolling around inside the tire (probably scraping up my rim on the inside). Paid America's tire company another $300 or so for 4 new TPMS sensors and reinstall of the tires to fix the situation. The next pargraph is my summary of everything that went wrong at Morris McGinn. 1. Before starting the service I specifically asked whether I should go purchase the new sensors. Was told "no" and they could either sell me or reuse the old sensors if possible. They basically completely lied to me even after I offered to go purchase the sensors before the service was even started. 2. They are willing to put customers at risk by taping TMPS sensors inside the rim instead of reusing them correctly using the new bands or simply suggesting to get new valve stem mounting TPMS sensors. How long would this even last considering the sensor must have been under great centrifugal force and would eventually come loose for all 4 tires just as it did. HOW IS THIS CONSIDERED ACCEPTABLE OR PROFESSIONAL? 3. They wasted my entire morning with them, charged my $160 dollars, and they still made me worry upon hearing the vibrations and have to go visit America's tire company. Again in what world is duct taping the TPMS senors on the inside of the rims acceptable? 4. This kind of service regarding the TPMS sensors, which cannot easily be inspected, should not be short-cutted especially when the customer asks up front if they should go get the sensors. How many other customers has this been done to? 5. The first experience I had a year previously with them resulted, in one of the rims, the sticky weights of the rim falling off onto my driveway so one of my rims on my other vehicle is still not balanced and probably needs to go to America's tire company. The only reason why I have not taken all 4 of those first set of tires into Americas tire co to check the sensors is because I actually bought the sensors myself at monument and gave them to Morris McGinn before they installed those tires so i know 4 TPMS value sensors got used. I had hesitated to write this review because I thought I had received good services in previous a experience buying tires from RT Tire and having them installed in the rear by Morris McGinn but my last experience was so terrible that I am writing this as a safety warning to other potential customers. Also RT Tire may wish to speak to them regarding this experience because it may not be clear to others that the two enterprises are separate. I would have preferred not to write this because I think RT Tires' used tires are good condition and a great value but I would never have Morris McGinn in the back install them again.
