I recently switched locations from the Milliken store to this location,I had issues with customer service at the other store but I've been here several times and I have yet to have a bad experience. All the girls in the early afternoon are friendly and welcoming. It is a little hard to hear the staff behind the glass but, as long as you speak clear and loud its fine.This location gets very busy during lunch rush but at night it's pretty quite, given the location. I've been to this waba grill many times before and never have I had a time like this one. Firstly, the girl got my order wrong. I despise green onion and they literally loaded my waba plate with a ton of it. It took me 10 minutes to pick them out. Secondly, the cook was speaking so loudly to a customer (a former employee, I know this because I heard the whole conversation on the other side of the restaurant at my table) about how they used to do ecstasy together and that they would come to work fried. I think a conversation like that paints a poor picture for a business. Very unprofessional and that should never take place in front of customers. christmas eve a few of us miserable folks at work went out for an early lunch to kill more time before we were hopefully going to be let out early. the bossman suggested we head to a plaza near UTI where they have farmer boys, waba, and dickeys...dickeys & waba i have never heard of but off we went knowing that if anything we had farmers. when we got there we ended having 4 of us head to waba and one of us off to dickeys. waba is totally like a flamebroiler. sooo i got what i would get at a flamebroiler...half veggie half beef bowl......out of pocket....$6 a bowl $.80 brown rice & $1.50 drink first off let me say im a lil bias because i HATE teriyaki bowls...so wtf am i doing there and eatting it... then judging it.. yea it was alright ...my rating is a 2.5 star....there was a LOT of cabbage and for 80cents more i got brown rice and it was very untasty but in my mind i thot...its healthier...healthier!!! the meat was okay though i think where the bowl went wrong is when i added their hot sauce. unlike the special sauce at flamebroiler it kinda ruined my food but THATS what i get for pouring ( & i mean POURING) on sauce without trying it!!! halfway through my bowl i gave up....it was pretty tasteless but everyone else enjoyed there plates & bowls sooo i will have to give it one more go...minus the sauce...maybe with chicken my next time back... read more

I love waba grill and it really saddened me that I dealt with by far one of the most rude cashiers/employees ever. Her name is Jazlyn and I placed an order for a beef bowl. At first she was asking the usual questions (brown vs white, veggies vs no veggies, etc). As we were getting to the final steps of ordering, I specifically said "no veggies" and I was told none would be included in addition to no onions. After that I asked for a side of extra beef and decided not to go with it since when I asked, Jazlyn just seemed very offended that I was even asking for extra beef. I then I asked for a side of dumplings and she rudely said "you cannot add that to your bowl" when in no way, shape or form did I ask that. I decided not to place an order just for the simple fact that she made the experience feel very uncomfortable. So, I then go to the place to pick up my order and once again I am assisted by Jazlyn, who has no form of proper customer service. She was so dismissive and plainly seemed like she did not want to be there. I get my food, double check it to ensure that I got my order. To my surprise, it came with veggies. I kindly said "I did not want veggies in my bowl" to which she replied "I repeated your order to you twice" which I have no recollection of because she did not. She did offer to have my bowl replaced to the order I wanted it to be, but even the manner in which she went about it was very rude. It felt as if she was just annoyed of me and wanted me out right away. So, I decided not to get my order changed and left. To even be considered a healthy alternative, you shouldn't have to add all of the unhealthiness of every condiment to make it edible. Wish I could put half a star or less. The brown meat that they called steak was completely tasteless and I'm not positive which animal it actually came from. First, my review of the service. Person at the counter didn't listen to our order. We wanted a side of white rice. They rang it up for a side of white meat. Of course we were charged for the meat. When we let them know, they just gave us the white rice along with the extra meat, which we didn't want. Also, four other customers that ordered after us we served their food before we got ours. Cleanliness. The dining room was filthy and we had a difficult time finding a clean table. Most of the napkin dispensers were empty. I watched an employee cleaning the overhead vent hood in the kitchen while another employee was cooking food directly below. Huge health violation. We ordered miso soup which was nasty. I've had better from a box than the one they served. We just threw it away. The chicken bowls were dry and tasteless. Waba grill offers me a meal, without the oversized calorie count. My regular order is chicken and veggie bowl with brown rice. I ask for all white meat chicken, which costs a little extra. The salmon bowl is my favorite! You can double the salmon if you want. Additional for avacado and brown rice - but worth it!
