Needed to pick up something for a late lunch and got a couple of burritos. Saved the other carne asada burrito for my husband. I ordered the Surf and Turf which sounded like a popular burrito. To my dismay, I was disappointed with this burrito. Firstly, the size and quantity was not equivalent to the price of the burrito which was $14.50. Since I wasn't in the mood for french fries, they said it would be substituted with rice. OK, great I like rice. However, it ended up being about 90% rice. The meat portion was so skimpy and to top it off, the meat did not taste that great. It was not very flavorful and the shrimp was not fresh, but rather most likely frozen. The salsa didn't help that much either. For the Carne Asada burrito, my husband felt the same way about his burrito. I did not say anything to him about mine until he shared his opinion first. He said that there was only a little bit of meat in his Carne Asada burrito. Note, there's also a 3% surcharge on a credit card payment. I always try to dine at family restaurants, but we were not satisfied with our food. I'm willing to give them another try and will order other types of dishes next time.
