The ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant were commendable. It felt well-maintained and welcoming despite its small size. The menu also offers a good variety. Customer service didn't particularly stand out. I placed my order and received it a little while later with no issues, but there was nothing exceptional about the interaction. As for the food, I ordered a chicken bowl and a steak bowl. I was quite upset with what we got for the price. Even after using a coupon, the bowls were filled mostly with rice and veggies, with very little protein. Considering the price, it didn't feel like good value for money due to the poor rice-to-meat ratio. On top of that, the taste was lacking so I had to add my own soy sauce to make it better. This would be the perfect WaBa, because the food is great and the place is a solid 8 out of 10 for cleanliness but your customer service is almost non existent. I wanted to try the rib plate to change it up from my regular beef bowl, but when I got to the register to place my order this young woman doesn't say hi or anything, she just stand there waiting for me to place my order. When I placed my order she leaves the register whiteout saying thanks or anything and she goes to the back to talk to one of her coworkers. For the time that I was there she seem to be angry and I just wonder if this is a personal issue of hers or the management is just awful and doesn't know how to keep the employees happy and focus. Had previously cancelled a pick up order from this location and never received my money back. I had explained to the girl that I had made an online order through their website but for some reason she kept directing me to contact DoorDash. I had to explain this to her twice, which is fine maybe i was just confusing. She then let me know she had told her manager to cancel my order. I called the next day to verify that the manager received my cancellation. The same girl had verified that he had canceled it and that I would see my refund in 3 days. It's been over a week and I have yet to receive my refund. I called their store multiple times with no answer. Reached out to corporate, no answer. About a month or two ago, my niece dropped my PHONE behind the booth. This incident has stuck to me since it has happened and I am FOREVER grateful that this waba grill has NAYELLI (sorry if misspelled) as an employee. I'm so sure with how society is nowadays, no one would help out if this was to happen to anyone. NAYELLI definitely is the definition of faith in humanity restored. The booth isn't detachable, so there honestly is no way of getting my phone out unless we break the booth down. Nobody's arm is long enough to fit down the booth to grab the booth. I had an impatient 1.5 year old who was glued to my hips or if left in high chair, needed to be supervised while I try to fish my phone out. NAYELLI was trying her best to help out customers and at the same time, tried different ways to get my phone out. This went on for about 1.5 hours. Helping customers and helping me out. She brought out a bunch of different materials she can think of from the back so we can fish the phone out. At one point, she suggested buying a big magnet so we can use the magnet to attract the phone. I told her my credit card is inside my phone case. She OFFERED TO front me money to pay for it. She was doing all this for JUST A CUSTOMER that she doesn't even know. I tell this story to everyone and I definitely owe her so much. Eventually, we got a hold of a magnet, tied it around my lanyard and she was able to fish it out. One and a half hours later. That is dedication, great customer service, patience, helpfulness. She possessed every qualities of great customer service. I could've easily shrugged this off, but I really want NAYELLI to be recognized for what a great person she is. You can't find that nowadays. My boyfriend and I have always liked Waba Grill's tofu bowl but I have to say this location really disappointed us. To start with, their music was sooo loud the cashier couldn't even hear us right. First things first my boys love WaBa Grill, it's their go to anytime they want to go food. But this location in general has me going back to it every time my boys want a bowl! Reason why you may ask, their customer service is great, the moment I went in there I was welcomed with a Hello, how can I help you! I'm sure there was a beautiful smile behind that mask of that very nice employee! Sammy was very welcoming and super helpful while I ordered. Excellent Catering Event 11-14-19 I ordered chicken, steak, veggies, white rice and salad for 50 people. Food was delivered on time, hot and it was absolutely wonderful. The salad was almost too pretty to eat. Extra sauce and hot sauce was given. Sayda was very kind and followed up with texts on order and delivery. Manager delivered the food and was just as lovely. Food was okay however order was incorrect. Placed an order for a steak bowl with avocado. When I got home and opened my bowl to my surprise the avocado was not added. I though hey maybe they forgot to add it in the order. Check the receipt and sure enough i was charged $1.80 for adding avocado..
