    All-star breakfast

All-star breakfast done right! Quick service with very nice and attentive people working at this location. I definitely ordered too much food but it was worth it.

Haven't been to Waffle House in years. This visit did not disappoint. The inside looked just like a traditional Waffle House. The staff was great and the food did it just what it was supposed to. I enjoyed my all star breakfast.

    My waffle house hat souvenir

This was my first time visiting a Waffle House. Our friend picked us up from the airport and since I had never been to Tennessee or Waffle House, we stopped at this one which was near our hotel. It looks a little dingy and dirty from the outside. Sitting down it was definitely a bit sticky, but what classic breakfast restaraunt isn't? It appeared as if we had arrived just after a small rush. This is a 24 hour spot and we went between midnight and 1am. Our waitress, Chelsey, was incredibly kind and hospitable. I told her it was my first time there and she was in disbelief! She brought me a waffle house hat and explained some favorites. I ordered the all star with biscuits and gravy since I hadn't eaten much after flying all day. My boyfriend also got food. Our experience was To Go, but she made sure we had a wonderful experience here while we waited. She is awesome!!!!! After a long, disappointing travel day it was just the perfect service experience. We took our food back to the hotel and I seriously devoured it. I've never been to a chain breakfast spot that tasted so delicious. My waffle was sweet and perfectly cooked. The eggs were standard. The hashbrowns (i got with mushroom topping) were perfect. Biscuits and gravy were good. Even the wheat toast with jam was fantastic!!!!! She remembered to pack plenty of napkins, utensils, and spreads for us. I can honestly say this was a breakfast game changing experience. I only wish we had them closer to where I live!

A wise hungry person once said, "the trashier the Waffle House the better the food". Listen, that's the most true thing you'll ever hear, ever. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. But on the real, this place is heaven. It isn't trashy in the means of dirty and whatnot but it's Waffle House not Jeff Ruby's, it's not supposed to be a five-star experience. Food: amazing as always. I got the two chicken breasts and eggs meal; that is, two chicken breasts, eggs your way, toast your choice, and hashbrowns. Now to add the Jed flair...make the hashbrowns a triple and scramble the eggs. Anecdote// worker said "I'd be surprised if you got past the hashbrowns". For the record, I cleaned the plate and currently am typing this full-as-can-be. Probably gained a few waist sizes. Save your money and skip out on the other places for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner...come here. It's open 24hrs, cheap, and amazing.

The ideal breakfast spot for the easy-going American dining experience. Staff was crazy friendly, food was real tasty, we hardly spent any money but still got super stuffed! Again another too drawer Waffle House spot that needs to be moved ight up a few miles from my house not 120!

Was very disappointed to go to the Brentwood Waffle House I have gone to for past 20 yrs (whenever they first opened) to be nickeled and dimed and not even warned that they were charging $1.00 per water. Waitress said nationwide new policy due to higher costs. Would normally give this a perfect score as good is great & fast service-I see why they aren't crowded anymore. So sad-end of an era!:(

Dude. It's Waffle House. How can it be bad?! It's everything we know and love about this southern staple. One of the worst things about living in Cali - besides the obvious - is we don't have Waffle House! I need my Cheese n Eggs! I need GOOD grits! Waffle House has been a staple of my entire adult life in FL, GA, and TX. It becomes requisite eating whenever I travel back to the south. This location does not disappoint!

Even sampling some of their famous country ham from Toby's plate was a memorable experience. I only wish I had a bigger stomach because the portions are just so massive here. The server couldn't have been nicer. He was even the one to suggest to us that he preferred the pork chops over the ham. That was such a good choice to me. Sadly, we didn't have coffee this morning because we had a long scenic drive and didn't want to make any more stops than necessary. But I bet he would've been right on the ball with those refills. The ambiance was great. It was such a nice layout and had interesting decor that made you feel you were a guest at their house. It also had that perfect occupancy where you could tell how popular they were but not so crowded you had to wait for a table. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Tennessee because this place is a great find.

But, not being able to finish our meal gave us more time to receive chastisement from the surly server because two of our party were delayed in arriving and 'other people are waiting on a table', leaving me to wonder, 'why are they waiting on a table here? Don't they have any idea what they are in for?' If they did, they would be running from the tables. Like we will be from now on. Then....I saw that my review was a decade ago! (That was back when it was a little farther out of town and in a smaller place. So, I came back, anew, to enjoy again. Hands down, this is a friendly establishment with a staff that is welcoming, polite, helpful...and ready to serve you. The interior is open and sports a nostalgic look with large tables accompanied by old (but sturdy) mismatched, carved-high back chairs. Yes, you can sit by yourself, but if it's busy....scoot over and invite a new friend to join you. Most tables seat 6 or 8 -- more "communal" style in a sense. Step up to the counter and order from the solid, albeit mundane, menu: eggs to order, meat side, potatoes, biscuit & toast...gravy if you like. They'll bring it to your table. Nothing fancy. My wife's eggs were scrambled, but not fluffy....rather flat like an unfilled omelet. My over easy eggs were close to perfection and oozed a rich yolk sauce on my deep fried potato cake. Yes, I would have preferred authentic hash browns or "home fries". But this worked for the occasion. Biscuits were buttery and tender. Coffee - average. Sausage patty appeared to be cut from a commercial roll - fried well and tasty. My wife's bacon was absolutely to her liking (hard to get right sometimes). But her's was spot on: very crisp, not burned. Lots of grab and go sandwiches for sale....check out other reviews and photos. Before you leave, pick up a couple of fried pies. (Ten yeara ago I had the peach - yummy. This timr we took home both apple and cherry. Slightly - not overly sweet fillings and a great afternoon treat. Dough was slightly different this visit. (You can see that in my pics...if Yelp still has them available.) As for the "Market" aspect of the name....that is a bit of a mystery - not a lot of market goods were readily visible. Oh!...be careful parking. The unmarked "street side" parking is tight and cars can come barreling down Hill Street. There is apparently more parking on the back side (towards downtown area). All-in-all the vibe was a bit like my Grandma's Country Store (1940-50s) a place where I was born and raised...friendly, comforting, congenial. And, a return for lunch is in order - the menu sounds inviting ... I hope another 10 years doesn't pass before I make it back for that. PS: very clean restrooms available too.
