After eating half my chicken bowl I find a hair in the bowl! So disgusting

After eating half my chicken bowl a find a hair in the bottoms of the bowl . Will not be returning!!!

I love Waffle House, so I am extremely disappointed to write this review at a 1 star. Monday at 10:30 pm I walked in and was immediately greeted. I sat down at the bar because all the booths were dirty, the server did not even think about wiping down the bar where I was sitting. Unfortunately I had to do it myself. I ordered a patty melt with no bacon, hashbrowns and a waffle with blueberries and pecans. The cook accidentally added bacon and instead of making a whole new patty melt decided to just take off the bacon and still serve it to me. (I don't eat pork, so this is a huge contamination issue, luckily I am deciding not to blow it up). The patty melt was overcooked and the bread was almost burnt, the hashbrowns were average. The waffle to my surprise was actually disgusting I believe they used blueberry syrup instead of real blueberries and way to much waffle batter. All this would have been easier to fathom had I received respectable service and the restaurant was at a bare minimum clean. My server disappeared and I had to ask to check out and when I did was told that "I needed to wait for my server to create the check." I asked for a manager of course there wasn't one on staff at the time. Who makes a customer wait to pay that's just crazy I should have left, but I am a respectable human. I paid, left a tip and kindly gave the server my review once she returned 20 minutes later. This was the worst Waffle House experience I have EVER had at ANY Waffle House, usually this location is pretty good. First time I've not finished my plate at a Waffle House

I recently tried Mia's Table and came away with mixed feelings…read more I ordered the 12 oz ribeye steak with mashed potatoes, cream corn, and fried onion rings. The steak was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was cooked well, flavorful, and easily the best thing on the plate. Unfortunately, everything else ranged from mediocre to disappointing. The fried onion rings were extremely salty and just not enjoyable. The mashed potatoes were also overly salty, which made them hard to eat. The cream corn was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. What Mia's Table does really well is the atmosphere. The restaurant has a lively, family friendly environment, and it was packed when I visited. They also have a self serve ice cream bar, which is a nice touch for families with kids. If I were rating solely based on ambiance and overall vibe, I would probably give it 4 stars. The frustrating part is that I spent about $26 on my meal and ended up only really enjoying the steak. For that price point, I expected the sides to be just as good as the main dish. Overall, a great atmosphere and a solid steak, but the food quality was too inconsistent for me to rate it any higher.

A True Taste of the Deep South Right Here in Texas! I was…read morecraving some real Southern comfort food and the brand new Bojangles delivered in the best way possible. This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the whole experience felt like a warm Southern welcome. If you're looking for that genuine Deep South taste without leaving Texas, Streets Chicken is the spot. Highly recommend. ! I'll definitely be back for more! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!

The first Jason's Deli was founded in 1976 in Beaumont, Texas. And since then, the company remains…read moreprivately owned by the founder's family despite having 239 locations across 27 states. I'm a fan of Jason's Deli and have been to a few locations on the East Coast and one other location in Texas. The Cypress location has a much smaller salad bar compared to other locations and the customer service is not as great. The staff behind the counter who prepared our food was not very helpful and the person who brought our food to our table was not friendly either. However, the really young gal at the ordering counter was a shining exception and made the experience much better. She was really polite, friendly, and helpful. She was juggling dine-in orders, take-out orders, and delivery orders all while helping customers with their drinks and questions. My favorite sandwich on the menu is the Wild Salmon-Wich. It's made with wild-caught Alaskan Sockeye Salmon. It's a rare treat to find restaurants offering wild-caught Salmon in a sandwich. Plus, at a reasonable price. The sandwich comes with your choice of either potato chops or blue tortilla chips on the side. They also have a Build Your Own Sandwich option, where you can pick your own meats, spreads, bread, and cheese. Tuna Salad with egg is one of the meat choices for those who are pescatarian. There's also a vegetarian sandwich option, the Caprese Panini, which is simple but tasty. The restaurant like many of its other locations has a spacious, open area with numerous tables, including booth seating. However, some of the tables were uncleaned from the moment we arrived until we left. I hope management takes steps to improve both cleanliness and customer service. Despite this, I still think Jason's Deli is a great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner, especially if you're looking for a super casual yet comfortable dining experience.

I was greeted with a smile by Manny. I ordered the breakfast croissant with sausage. It was hot, freshly prepared, and tasty. I ordered coffee and was allowed to use my own cup. I did notify Manny of the issue. Overall it was a positive experience.

I'm up with a friend here for lunch. The service was good and the ambiance was nice, but I found…read morethe food rather average. I was excited to try the Captain crunch Chicken biscuit. When it showed up I was amazed by the large pile of food. As I began to eat though, I started to get disappointed. I cut into my fried egg expecting it to run all over my plate, but it seems like it was cooked somewhere between over medium and over hard. I was looking for tasting the hot honey, which appears to be under the dish as opposed to on top of it. I was looking forward to a soft fluffy biscuit, but it too was over hard. The Chicken was well cooked, a bit thin, and I'm not sure that the breading tasted anything more like Captain crunch than it did any other breading. However every time I cut into it the breading kind of just fell off into the gravy. The gravy and potatoes were redeeming, with good flavor gravy and well cooked potatoes. Overall, it wasn't bad, I ate it all, I just expected better for my $17.
