Hot pastrami on French bread with provolone, stone mustard, red onions and tomatoes
    Tish P.

I can't say I was overly excited when JD moved into the neighborhood. Back in the day, I lived at JD for lunch because it never disappointed. My first visit to this new location and I ordered online. For curbside pickup. Did one of my classics, manager's special: hot pastrami on French bread with provolone, stone mustard, red onions and tomatoes! For the sides, went with plain chips and had seafood gumbo for the soup. It was a good meal but scant on the pastrami. Definitely not nearly enough as a traditional pastrami sammich. Gotta fill that bad boy up...the soup was OK, had plenty of shrimp! Only thing that's annoying with service is having to call and tell someone I'm outside. If I wanted to talk to somebody I would have went inside and ordered lol

I love Jason's Deli, quick meal, healthy or healthy-ish options - you can't go wrong. It's funny that I never really know what I want until I get to the counter. You can't go wrong with the Deli Club either on regular bread or my favorite, the croissant. You can't go wrong with the chicken Caesar salad. You can't go wrong with the salad bar option. You can't go wrong with muffins and/or garlic bread at the mini bar...that is until they run out and don't refill! You can't go wrong with the free ice cream...until you realize it's broken or not working properly. I've been here 3 times in a span of a month, each time the ice cream machine wasn't working properly or at all! I love the actual food, the service is great. But the muffins/garlic/ice cream are what makes me want to come back here even more! If they aren't restocked in a timely manner and the ice cream machine is never working, should I continue to go if I'm not receiving the full Jasons Deli experience? Tbd...

If you want to wait forever and get some terrible food order the chicken pot pie soup. It taste like nothing only worse... and I think they forgot to put the chicken in it as well.....after I gave up on eating it I poured it on our dogs food then I had to throw the dogs food out. Anyway Don't go here, starve instead.

Loved the food, especially the salad bar, but the service was even better. The name of my waitress was Maria and she made me and my family feel right at home. Will return!

I recently tried Mia's Table and came away with mixed feelings…read more I ordered the 12 oz ribeye steak with mashed potatoes, cream corn, and fried onion rings. The steak was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was cooked well, flavorful, and easily the best thing on the plate. Unfortunately, everything else ranged from mediocre to disappointing. The fried onion rings were extremely salty and just not enjoyable. The mashed potatoes were also overly salty, which made them hard to eat. The cream corn was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. What Mia's Table does really well is the atmosphere. The restaurant has a lively, family friendly environment, and it was packed when I visited. They also have a self serve ice cream bar, which is a nice touch for families with kids. If I were rating solely based on ambiance and overall vibe, I would probably give it 4 stars. The frustrating part is that I spent about $26 on my meal and ended up only really enjoying the steak. For that price point, I expected the sides to be just as good as the main dish. Overall, a great atmosphere and a solid steak, but the food quality was too inconsistent for me to rate it any higher.

This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the whole experience felt like a warm Southern welcome. If you're looking for that genuine Deep South taste without leaving Texas, Streets Chicken is the spot. Highly recommend. ! I'll definitely be back for more! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!

When it showed up I was amazed by the large pile of food. As I began to eat though, I started to get disappointed. I cut into my fried egg expecting it to run all over my plate, but it seems like it was cooked somewhere between over medium and over hard. I was looking for tasting the hot honey, which appears to be under the dish as opposed to on top of it. I was looking forward to a soft fluffy biscuit, but it too was over hard. The Chicken was well cooked, a bit thin, and I'm not sure that the breading tasted anything more like Captain crunch than it did any other breading. However every time I cut into it the breading kind of just fell off into the gravy. The gravy and potatoes were redeeming, with good flavor gravy and well cooked potatoes. Overall, it wasn't bad, I ate it all, I just expected better for my $17.
