When she seated another table I asked when I could order. She told me she thought my nephew had ordered for both of us. Classic breakfast joint that is perfect in the morning or late at night. This is classic mix of poor, working class and upper class customers that all seem to enjoy the food and service. I liked the waffles and they were just about perfect to me and quite tasty and very inexpensive. The eggs were pretty good and the bacon was average. I love Waffle House however this location should be closed or remodeled. It is gross! I grew up in Atlanta and have been to the original as well as many surrounding the original and this poor location is a sad excuse for a franchise. It's dirty, it has flies, poor management. Food is good but my god you have to deal with all the other surrounding you. Although I recommend Waffle House to the highest I simply can not recommend this location. This was just an absolutely awful visit. Came for breakfast after an overnight flight from California. We didn't have to wait long to get our seats, but did wait long for our order to be taken by an employee who seemed to be upset to be at work. Was not very friendly, but not rude either just seem to be annoyed. Quickly took our order and left. Never came by for coffee refills unless we flagged her down. Breakfast was bland although my husband said his grits were good. I think the worst part of our meal was the fact that we had ants around the table where the bottled condiments were. Even caught one come out beneath the bottle cap. GROSS!!!! When we paid and told the cashier what we had seen so she would be aware and remove those bottles she just told us, "oh yeah we know we have an ant problem". Not even a mention of them replacing the bottles or even a thank you for bringing up what we noticed. I'll be sure to call corporate office and even the health dept on this matter read more

She was so nice, hospitable and attentive. Food was on point and we all enjoyed it. We're from NY and my wife left wishing we had this chain near us. Hello Darlings... What is this...a ONE-star review of one of the best breakfast places in the universe? Unfortunately, darlings, I'm afraid that this is the case. This particular franchise might be an aberration, or maybe they were just having a bad day. Nonetheless, our last breakfast in Waffle House territory was an unfortunate disappointment. There was discord among the staff, particularly between the servers and the cooks. The cooks had more attitude than Judge Judy. The servers were not on their game, and kept mixing up our food, which came out in sections. My side o sausage came out when I was nearly done. Al's side o bacon did likewise. The coffee was lousy, and the coffee cups were dirty. The servers and the cooks weren't warm and fuzzy with each other, and we even heard one server mention how much nicer it had been last week that one of the cooks was on vacation. And it's not as if this place was terribly busy...can you imagine if it were?? Talk about a calamity of epic proportions!
