3 1/2 stars. cant believe I have lived in Florida for over twenty years and up until last weekend, I had never been to a Waffle House! With long llines at First Watch and even IHOP, Waffle House it was. We concentrated on the side of the menu with breakfast. It has the basics: Eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, and of course, waffles. 14 year ordered hash browns with cheese, ham, and onions. He truly enjoyed the dish. I kept it simple with eggs, toast, and grits. Everything was good. The staff was super friendly! Upgrading as my son left his air pods at the table. I. Allied and our server had them for us. Maybe not my first choice for breakfast, but it worked.

Classic breakfast joint that is perfect in the morning or late at night. This is classic mix of poor, working class and upper class customers that all seem to enjoy the food and service. I liked the waffles and they were just about perfect to me and quite tasty and very inexpensive. The eggs were pretty good and the bacon was average. Yes, it is a little sketchy when viewed from the outside and depending on the time of day, you may get an interesting mix of customers, but in the end the food was solid and super good value.

Everything was perfect. We had Natasha and she was literally the BEST Waffle House server we have ever had. The bathrooms were perfectly clean too! I'm a Waffle House for lifer, so I really enjoyed this visit.

Just what I needed after a long sleepless flight

Our most recent outing saw us dining on a sparsely populated dining room for a Wednesday Night. Our server greeted us quickly but it took nearly 20 minutes for us to get our drink order of a water and sweet tea. We ordered off the 2 for $20 menu they're featuring at the moment. My Breakfast Burger was tasty but made incorrectly with the wrong cheese and missing its side when it first came out which I had to alert our server to, and my wife's order omitted the side when added to the 2 for $20 which seems really strange. Our shareable to split was Onion Petals, essentially just a Bloomin Onion knock off. These were tasty and cooked well and I quite liked the sauce. We did however ask for them ahead of our meal, which our server suggested and they in fact came out after our entrees arrived. To cap it all off, we received one drink refill after pleading multiple times for about 90 minutes and then when the check arrived we were charged for two drinks we never ordered. I alerted the server who had it corrected but again, it took quite some time for him to come back. Then, when we when to pay, because I had attempted to use THEIR APP, it wouldn't let me pay at the register, they had to wait for the system to reset. All-in-all for a mediocre meal and absolutely terrible service, we were stuck there for about 2 hours total. We'll be seriously considering other options in the area before we venture back here for a second chance.

The food was pretty good, although the service here seems to be consistently mediocre. The servers are nice enough, but we seem to only get a refill when we're asking for the check, and the kitchen wait times can be long. Ultimately decent for a breakfast craving, but even at dinnertime expect a leisurely outing.

I've passed this place by on my way to work and figured to stop by sometime; today was the perfect day because Victoria was the sweetest and super swift with her service! I sat at the bar to enjoy a small dinner and cocktail; ordered an Old Fashioned and received their signature one which was super tasty and done right! (thanks Victoria ) Managed to snag a photo of my salad as it was purchased with birthday money from a friend; got the Wedge (a la carte, no protein). Even though the produce is "weird" now, every bit of what happens for me next will be all worth it because that salad was delicious! It was one of the best wedge salads I've had in a long while... almost got the soup of the day because French Onion is my favorite but I had some places to be thereafter and "toilet conspiracies caused by produce" was not in my bingo card for my special day For my first time, it was a wonderful experience and service as top tier even though business was a bit slow. Take advantage of this though, because the food from what I've seen looks DELICIOUS Thanks Victoria See you soon!

We really just wanted to stay in and watch a movie rather than sit at dinner. For appitizers we tried the Fried Pickles which the reviews for them made me order in the first place, I'm a huge fan of spears over chips. As soon as I opened the bag I could smell bad oil and sure enough I eat one and they taste like bad oil, the rest went in the bin. For mains my husband ordered the Half Rack of Ribs with a baked beans and a sweet potato and I ordered the 13 Oz Ribeye with a Baked Potato, Broccoli and a side of Brussel Sprouts. The ribs were okay but nothing exciting enough to order again, and he did enjoys his sides. My steak was overcooked and honestly pretty bland, the sides were all great. The Brussels we're amazing and while it was a big serving I found myself wishing I had ordered more! I wasn't thrilled with the food but I decided I would try the pickles again and hope the oil isn't bad. After a mid experience, I was craving fried pickles and Brussel Sprouts on July 27 and I decided to give them another go. This time I just ordered the pickles (I was hoping last time was a one off) and paid more for the Brussel Sprout App this time instead of the side. I get a text while my driver was on the way saying they were out of pickles so they cancelled them and refunded me for them. I was disappointed and upset because if they had called me I would have asked they cancel the entire order instead of paying $22.51 with charges and tip for just a Brussel Sprout appetizer. When the bag arrived I knew instantly I was going to be disappointed by the size. When I ordered the side I had been given a box with a large serving but this time it came in a small cup like for a side. While I ate them and enjoyed them it just didn't sit right that I just paid $22 for that. I'm going to give them another try soon and this time try going to the location instead and hope for better luck.

4 Corners Tavern - ChampionsGate…read more We hadn't been to 4 Corners Tavern in years. Located in the ChampionsGate shopping area, a friend recently raved about the food, so we decided it was time to give it another try. Our server, Nick, was friendly, personable, and helped us with our menu selections. I was excited to see the lunch special was a Chopped Cheese sandwich. Being from New York, I've really missed a good chopped cheese and have been craving one for quite some time. The sandwich came with a choice of side, and I chose the French fries. While it was a decent sandwich, it just wasn't an authentic New York chopped cheese. The lettuce wasn't chopped but simply placed on top, and it was missing the chopped tomatoes and onions that help make the sandwich so special. It was served on a hoagie roll, but the it wasn't smashed together the way I'm used to seeing in New York. My husband ordered the Brisket Dipper, which also came with a choice of side. He selected the soup of the day, a beef and rice soup. The sandwich was served with an au jus dipping sauce and was good, but not memorable. In fact, we both agreed the brisket at our local Ovation Bistro & Bar is much more flavorful. The soup arrived as essentially a cup of shredded beef in broth, and the rice had accidentally been left out. The server quickly brought it over afterwards. When I spotted bread pudding on the dessert menu, I couldn't resist ordering one of my all-time favorite desserts. Unfortunately, it was another disappointment. The bread pudding was very dense, covered with large dollops of whipped topping, and didn't taste particularly fresh. Overall, while the service was friendly and attentive, the food simply didn't live up to the recommendation we had received. With more than a dozen restaurants nearby offering excellent dining options, this isn't one we'd return to. If you're dining in the ChampionsGate area, I'd recommend spending your money at one of the many better choices nearby.

This lower review is solely because of the smell of the location during our dining experience around 12:30pm today. When we walked in, we were hit with a strong chemical smell. As we sat down, I kept looking around to see if I could see someone using some kind of chemical or cleaning agent and never did. The smell persisted during our meal and I did not bring it up to the server because I thought maybe it was just my imagination because I couldn't figure it out. Turns out, as we were leaving, I noticed that first watch shares a building/wall with a nail salon. What I was smelling was the acrylic (MMA) from the salon, seeping into the restaurant. It was quite strong and I'm honestly shocked that it hasn't been brought up before already.
