The Waffle House located off of 157 and 287 in Mansfield was amazing! I've been to many and the service and hot fresh, quickly served food was great! The thing that impressed me most was that the staff was attentive and focused! Not a lot of yelling cursing, and bickering that I usually experience at other locations! The cooks had one voice calling orders quickly and professionally! It was great breakfast! What can really be said about Waffle House, other than it's Waffle House. I visited this Waffle House with my brother and nieces shortly after a weekend rush. You could tell they were behind and all of the tables were filthy. Our server was a very sweet girl, but there was so much drama in the kitchen it was ridiculous. We basically got brunch and a show: the chef and a server going at each other the whole time. It was extremely unprofessional and the entire restaurant could hear it. Incredibly quick food and friendly service! My daughter and I went to visit for breakfast on Sunday morning about 8:30. We were able to get a booth right away. We ordered and had to be served in less than 10 minutes. Our service was great also. You know what you're getting the Waffle House as far as food goes - and this didn't disappoint. My daughter was delighted with her waffle. Remember you pay at the register and not at the table. The Waffle House is located on the northeast corner behind, I think, a gas station. There is plenty of parking and we found it easy to get in and out of the parking lot. If you're coming from the west, you could almost miss the Waffle House sign until you were passing it. read more

I came here at about 3:15 am... this location was bombarded with people at this time. It took a little minute to get our food. I silently complained but realized the rush. When I say the cook Bosh. I believe that was his name. Did his job with no complaints and did everything to perfection. I normally would have complained but this was by far the best. Because he could have easily gave up. Best Waffle House in the area !! My boyfriend and I go at least once a week. Everybody is very friendly and will get to know you and your order. Plus the cook there is the bomb.com ! Shelly, our waitress took out trash, got our food, silverware, coughed every fucking where, ate her food and then handled our food without washing her hands. Handled cash register without washing hands. Burnt waffles but replaced with no problem but she charged us for her mistake. Also wiped her mouth and still couldn't wash her hands. I just wanted to say HORRIBLE SERVICE. I waited to pay for my check for 3 mins after I asked if i could pay. Even the waitress held up 3 FINGERS to emphasize how long until I had to pay. Great Cheap Breakfast. Food tastes great and fast service. Definitely beats Denny's and IHOP

First of all I do really like Waffle House. However on this day the experience was not as good. There was a wait for a table which is to be expected due to the limited seating and I'm okay with that. Once we got seated I had never seen so many flies in a restaurant flying around the place. The A/C was non-existent only a single oscillating fan in the whole place pointed at the cashier lol. The waitress looked like she was overworked and stressed. When the food came out it was ok... I mean its waffle house for crying out loud haha. Thank God for the menus being at the table so we could fan ourselves to get through the meal. I came here with a few friends. They took a while to get our orders out. While the food was being placed in front of us, the waitress said something peculiar about one of them not being my order and something about my friend at the other table. I assumed she was talking out loud about her friend. I got my ticket and guess what, I was charged more than double of what I calculated my meal to cost. When I asked, she said that I ordered all that food. I only bought a low cost meal because I didn't have much cash me. I didn't want to pay with my card and I like to stick to cash at diners or restaurants so I can tip in cash. I argued with her about it for quite a while. She pointed out to a guy that wasn't a friend of mine and who was leaving. I told her that he wasn't even part of our table or group. She said I had to pay and only caved in because she began to threaten my friends that I got scared. I didn't leave a tip and that's the last time I'll ever step foot inside this diner. The food was greasy and it gave me heartburn along with stomach pains and aches. The waitress was rude. The fact that I stood there arguing with her and everyone else in my group but was threatened shows just how money hungry they are. They let some random guy tell them to add food to my ticket when he wasn't even part of our group. We called the cops for theft but because I gave in and paid, it wasn't theft according to them.
