    Packed house.

The service was excellent and Richey had my order taken and out to me in under 7 minutes. The food is always excellent at Waffle House, although I will say that on this occasion my toast was burnt. It is easy to see that toast is burnt and had they not been filled to capacity they probably would have caught this. If a toaster overcooks, that is not the customer's fault, and they should not have to make a scene and send it back. This is not typical of Waffle House so I kept their rating at 5 stars because they are a great restaurant. They were slammed and the meal was under $10 so it was not a problem.

Stopped by Waffle House grab a little breakfast the other day. The staff was very friendly it was on a Sunday so it was packed in there but staff seem to get everyone seated in and everything moving in a quick manner. Sausage hash brown bowl- Love getting a hash brown bowl from there everything was cooked perfectly course you have to mix in a little hot sauce with it and it was great. Waffle- Love getting waffle there cooked awesomely couldn't ask for a better waffle anywhere. Overall great experience at this waffle House location the staff was very friendly and they got everything out to a squick.

So can someone explain to me why not a single worker in this Waffle House is wearing a mask? There is a state order that restaurant workers MUST wear masks. If there were any other place open I'd leave. I'm a night shifter and meeting my dad for Father's Day, who is 61 years old. Why no masks?!?

It's Waffle House. Road trip sustenance. It's an experience, not necessarily a dining one but an experience. If you've been here you get exactly what you expect. If you haven't, it should be on your bucket list. Quick and easy, in and out kind of breakfast. Perfect for those traveling along the interstate. Nothing even remotely fancy just something to keep you going.

Yes, I'm a waffle house girl. Sadly though, this location is close to me however I would rather drive to eat at the one on Papermill Drive. This one never seems to be as clean. They are usually busy and with that said extremely slow at turning tables over. I have had my order messed up at this location practically every time I have been here. With that said, Dine at your own risk. I'm not saying I don't eat here or won't be back but I usually don't have the best experience when I am at this particular Waffle House. Hope this helps! Cheers & Enjoy!

I ordered The Farmer, a chicken biscuit with cheese, bacon, and apple butter. The biscuit was warm and fresh, the bacon was crispy, and the chicken patty was quite substantial. The poor thing was drowning in apple butter though, which made it too wet (and too sweet). Even scraping some of it off it was already too soggy. A tad less sauce and it would be perfectly balanced. The smashbrowns had a nice crisp and I enjoyed the kick of the pepper jam. Also, big fan of the cute coffee bar. I could taste the hints of maple in the coffee. If I have to eat out for breakfast, Maple Street seems to be a good choice. And yes, this location is on Kingston Pike not Maple Street.

Unfortunate for me though, I had to sit right under an air conditioning duct. I bet that the gentlemen were wishing that it was my girlfriend who had that seat. (I think you get the points.) Our meals were as fresh as can be, and tasty too. We had no problem cleaning our plates. It was fairly crowded when we got there. But if you don't mind sharing a table, you'll find a spot for sure. There's outside seating if you like. Quick Tip: Get there early, or get there late, cause if you get there during prime chow down, you'll be lucky to find a seat. Even the cold zone will be occupied. You may want to wear a bra....Just in case.

I ordered the chicken and waffles with honey butter, and a white Russian (double vodka) and it was delicious. Felt like the Dude was right with me. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and fresh fruit, not only was the few bites I had of his burrito amazingly delicious, the fruit tasted fresh and full of flavor as well. The atmosphere is laid back, with bright table cloths and easy to slide chairs, booths line the walls, and I will thrilled to watch Teenage mutant ninja turtles on the screen on the far wall! All in all the only down side, or disappointment, was their regular coffee. My husband had to exchange it for a latte, and it was much better. For my take, and my husband's, you gotta stop by and at least try it for the food, stay for the ambiance and service. Order the latte

First let me say our server was very friendly and attentive, no complaints about service. The food, however, was sub-par. I ordered the waffle at the recommendation of the server. The waffle came out cool to the touch and couldn't even melt butter. As seen in my photos, even halfway through the meal it wasn't melting. When my coffee arrived I requested fresh cream, but was informed they do not have fresh cream and only had the branded artificial creamers. The grits were average. Cold waffles and gas station creamers are certainly not elevated breakfast foods and not worth the price point.

We're not expecting ultra-authentic Mexican food everywhere, but if you can't even get close, maybe don't put tacos on the menu because this felt genuinely insulting. We ordered the "small" taco board that we were told would feed 2-3 people, and it came with bland shredded chicken that tasted boiled, plus carrots, sugar snap peas, mushrooms, and corn scattered across the board like stir-fry vegetables. It also included the smallest portion of steak with chimichurri (Argentinian not Mexican), bland green salsa, terrible store-bought tasting red salsa, and "homemade" tortillas. There was almost no seasoning or flavor in any of it. The photo attached is just the chicken portion of the board because honestly the rest wasn't even worth photographing. The $15 guacamole was also extremely underwhelming for the price -- tiny portion of chips, one tiny lime wedge, and we were brought salt so we could finish seasoning it ourselves. Service was okay, but overall spending around $75 for two beers, guacamole, and food we barely wanted to finish was frustrating. Sadly, the ambiance and decor were the best part of the experience. Safe to say we will not be coming back.
