Had to try Waffle House while here. I really enjoyed my Texas Breakfast Melt with sausage and Fully Loaded Hash Browns Had an obligatory waffle also lol Did not like the automatic fee added to Togo orders Only customer inside had a Trump hat on, luckily I was able to keep my appetite and really enjoyed the food despite the company Lady behind the counter was super sweet and the service was fantastic, quick and easy. Cook did an amazing job. Inside is exactly as you see and know Waffle House to be, so no surprise there on the ambiance. read more

First time at Waffle House! We had to wait a bit for seating, but it wasn't too bad. Since it's such a classic spot, I had to give it a try. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit with a side of hashbrowns--came out pretty quickly and everything tasted good. Our server was super friendly and made sure everyone got the right order and checked in on us throughout the meal. The only downside was that it felt a bit humid inside, which made it slightly uncomfortable, but overall still a solid first visit. read more

I typically love any Waffle House but they messed up my order here so many times in just one visit I won't be back here. Save your time and go to a different location. Really disappointed. I love Waffle House but this was bad. Burnt bacon that came out 15 min after everything else and the eggs I ordered over medium didn't even cook the white. The white was slimy and wet! Plus the waffles have changed. And not for the better. Add to that the service was sad. Young man was polite but really not aware. read more

Service was decent, ordered smothered, covered , chunk (cheese, onions, ham). Hash browns came out at first with nothing, to be returned overcooked 4 little chunk pieces of ham, little onion & a slice of cheese. We were literally the only table in the restaurant. Explains why Cracker Barrel was busy. At least the restroom was clean. read more

Courtney was friendly, sweet, and took great care of us for breakfast this morning! Really quick service, our meal was ready in no time. I love the sweetness of the waffles here and their fluffy semi-sogginess. The hash browns were also delicious, salty enough but not too salty, crispy enough not too crispy. The establishment was clean, including the restrooms, and well-lit. Good location! The employees seemed to have good report and worked well together, which is great to see. =) read more

I've been coming to this Waffle House for over 20 years and it's always been great. One of the best I've been to until tonight. Took forever to order and even longer to receive our food. John the one and only cook in the place... kept disappearing in the back.. to do no telling what ... maybe to play donkey Kong .. and then would reappear to get the order wrong. My order was a burnt bacon egg and cheese sandwich , with burnt hash browns missing the cheese I ordered and an ok pecan waffle. After sending it back I received a bacon egg and cheese on white bread the second time and more burnt hash browns with an attempt to hide it by covering it up with the cheese that should have been on the first order. Come on! Really??! However they did manage to cook them "in the ring" as requested. But Unfortunately there was no saving grace for this meal! The waitress came to our table and sat my plate down in front of me with a horrible second attempt at my bacon egg and cheese sandwich which literally had white bread that wasn't toasted at all and the burnt to a crisp hash browns with a sad excuse for cheese... the waitress said " is this better?" And I said ... " Noooo! It's Not at all" " I wanted an egg bacon and cheese sandwich!!! Not on Texas toast! Not with white bread thats not toasted! I want golden brown toast! It's a simple request. I don't think it's asking too much! So after the second failed attempt, I told her just to take it back and we would just keep my girlfriends waffle and my drink... a chocolate milk I'm drinking as I type this very unhappy review. So disappointed in this Waffle House experience. It's a zero for me. I'll come back again sometime but I promise I will not order anything unless the toothless cook comes back. He was there for years and made the best bacon egg and cheese this side of the Mississippi. If he comes back I'll update my review! read more

ive always said waffle house is overrated, but i actually enjoyed my breakfast here. for one, on a saturday morning in the rain this place was packed. however, the service was on point. everyone is happier than ever, and they are super organized with the lines and wait. the sweet tea here is addictive. i highly suggest getting the bowl. i got the hashbrown bowl with cheese and eggs, minus the sausage. as usual the hashbrowns are undercooked, which is something i noticed at every wafflehouse. but honestly, the bowl was good and who can beat the price? i spent under 10 and left full. read more

My dad went to get some Waffle House today and this lady was being racist (I'm pretty sure) she gave my dad a knife when he asked for a spoon (NICELY) then she asked if she wanted cream for his Coffee, She threw 5 creams at him. Then he was nice enough to give him a $11 tip! But she still didn't say thank you even when she saw him give it to her. I wouldn't recommend going here. (I forgot the name too) read more

Wow I have never been to a Waffle House and waited 10 minutes for someone to even ask if I wanted coffee! The place was fully staffed and only 3/4 of capacity. But I could not get service to save my life! Sometimes waffle house's food can be inconsistent, but the service is ALWAYS spot on...well not always because this place, at least today, SUCKED! read more

Waiter did this: 1. Got the order wrong - forgot cheese and jalapeños on our hash browns 2. Got the order wrong - forgot chocolate chips on our pancakes 3. Hit my friend's juul that fell on the floor as he got up to use the restroom - waiter came by and hit the juul 4 times before finally giving it back (with some complaints) 4. Gave us the wrong check - despite there being only about 10 people in the restaurant at the time The food was decent. read more

Best Waffle House in the area! The staff are like a real family and it's like you've walked into their home. So glad we found this one right outside of busy downtown. Waffles were yummy - coffee kept coming. Service was amazing and the music from the jukebox was an added plus. So glad the fancy shmancy cafe downtown was packed or we would have missed this gem. read more

My family and I were in Nashville for a couple days and stopped at this Waffle House on our way back to our hotel. Our server, Whitney, was AMAZING! We talked about living in Las Vegas and she gave my youngest son a hard time because he was being obnoxious... it was like she was part of our family! It was also my husband and kids' first ever visit to a Waffle House, so there's that! I hope the managers of this location see this review... The food was great, but honestly, Whitney was the highlight!! Highly recommend!! read more

When I was a kid, we never went to Waffle House because my mom was convinced that they were just for vagrants and truck drivers. Fortunately my Southern Girlfriend convinced me to try it. Granted, its not International House of Pancakes, but you are always sure to have a good meal, and do some wonderful people watching. Mom may have been right, but its worth it for the Waffles. read more

A great WaHo experience. Order was cooked as I asked and living in MI, it is a treat to get this once in awhile when I travel for work. They were ridiculously quick, the server was friendly and the place clean. It was busy and clearly for a reason. Second time I have been to this location and as much as I love unique food and Nashville is not short of it, I love this WaHo. We ate at Husk (So Disappointing!) last and give the choice, I would choose this. read more

Ate at this location today while visiting Nashville. We didn't have to wait long as we sat at the bar. The service was prompt. However I didn't realize that my seat was next to the sink and water kept splashing me. I ordered the grit bowl and others had the All American. I was disappointed that Waffle House uses instant grits now. Grits are my thing but I don't like instant. The manager promptly comped my meal and chatted with me about the situation. He didn't skirt the issue and was so friendly. Made my day. I will definitely come back but next time for a waffle. read more

They will be open for business again on Monday June 6th! This Waffle House was flattened to parking lot level several months back and has been rebuilt from the ground up. Looking forward to it; the old building was pretty tired. This is a prime spot and the refresh should make this WH enjoyable again! read more

Nice location for smugglers on the lamm, out by the tracks south of the ghetto oak mall (AKA "00 AK MAL)... this is a cute little yellow box of a Waffle House with a great friendly/surly staff and a silent frankensteinish cook ladling synthesized butter substitute over grills spread with sumptuous feasts-to-be. Last night there was a grease fire under the main grill. Glowing drops of grease fell like lava from under the bar and made black spots on the linoleum. The employees joked and shouted at each other. One pretended to try to put out the fire with the water hose. Ha ha. One customer was complaining that he should get his bacon before they geef the flames, which by this point were burning the wood bar. Another guy kept saying "extinguish the flames". Funny that no one was leaving very quickly. Anyway, they finally removed the bar and extinguished the fire -- and the bacon. read more

Where can you go at 3:30 am after a night out with friends and get some grease to soak up the last bit of hangover juice in your stomach? Not many places that's for sure. This is one of them. I'm not going to say the food is great, nor the atmosphere, but when you're dealing with off-hours, holidays, or just need to grab some food that you know isn't going to be bad, this is the place. I used to work a night shift and my friends got off work well after me, so I basically lived a few months only at night, and this was a place I could go and actually achieve somewhat of a balanced meal (yes, they have somewhat nutritional food there, you just have to look closely). It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad... That particular waffle house is one I took refuge in on several amateur nights just to watch the crowd of intoxicated partied-out people come in to get something to hold them over till the morning. The crowd changes every night, but the general archetypes remain the same. read more

Ah, yet another Waffle House review. There all the same, you say? No, they are not. This one made me feel at home. The people were warm and friendly, very nice and funny. Cracking jokes and and telling stories. I felt like I was part of the family. The service was awesome, fast and once again...friendly. The food is always great and fresh, the store was very clean and nothing was sticky. ( lol ) I will be going back...It's a bit out of my way, but worth it! read more

I was having one of those mornings, I was starving and wanted to go off the deep end with my health. Waffle house was the move. I was taken by surprise how nice and classy the employees were! The place was packed but this is the norm for Sunday's around 12. One thing is for sure, I loved waffle house a lot more before they added a calorie count.. Anyways, this place was classy!
