It's a little on the grimy side, but that's to be expected at any greasy spoon joint-even a chain like Waffle House. Service is great at the counter or at the booth. Your order is up by the time you come back from washing your hands. . Parking won't be a problem and they're open 24 hours. I really can't knock with restaurant or the Waffle House brand. I'm a sucker for their hash browns, waffles, and pricing. But I did see a fly in the first to-go cup I asked for. If I were a punk, I'd definitely take umbrage. This is a newer and cleaner location in Brevard County. They do a good job here with the all star special, breakfast sandwiches, t-bones and eggs, and chocolate pie. Every now and then you have to deal with what I call Waffle House drama but as long as im not a part Im good with it. Quaint new clean Waffle House located West of interstate 95 right off of Malabar Road on the south side. When in about 5 PM on a Friday evening and they were about four or five other people in the restaurant so it was nice and slow. Typical over Waba house the food was good you can never go wrong with one of their waffles although I did not order one but I watch the others order one. I had wanted hot chocolate but they were out of whipped cream. And the other thing they were out of is the usual wonderful southern hospitality customer service that you are given. Service was not horrible but it was not good either. The waitress never came over to check on us never came over and refilled the and did only the pure basics. Does not make sense to me since they were very slow and since waitresses typically make their money off of Tips. However as I said the food was decent and the waffles were a waffle house style :-). Food is cold 2 minutes after hitting the table (it's OK to throw yer food right?) This is because their AC is on full blast and no matter where you sit it blows cold air on the food. The food..... Well that's so so. Hit or miss. Usually miss. If you like truck stop food and have a cast iron stomach then risk it. The hospital is less than a mile away. I've never been much impressed with the staff though. I like people who have a basic working knowledge of the English language.. "Whuhsup, youz, Ken ya," well that's just a product of "I dint wannuh fineh my free high school edumication" And my personal yer not getting but a quarter tip is when I say thank you ma'am, do not respond to me with "No problem" as it was no problem for you to show up for work then I became a problem when I walked through the door. read more

I just go in for To-Go orders frequently and though it's never a pleasant time, this last visit has been the worse. I will never go there again. After waiting twenty minutes for a server, I had to wait in line to ambush Cam at the register to have my order taken. Cam was super disrespectful and yawned in my face. I ordered ONE all star on an empty day and it took half an hour. I feel like on purpose. Because, you know, we can see what's going on in the backline. When I tipped him 0....you know, because it's a to-go order, that took forever, in which you didn't serve me well or at all... he looked me up and down and rolled his eyes. Unbelievable. What did you do besides ring me in wrong that deserves any more of my money? Nada. (I ordered an all star and an extra waffle and it came out to 18.62...doesn't seem right) Their servers need customer service training, badly. They are rude, disrespectful, and SUPER impatient. Ok, I get that it could be Sunday at a breakfast joint, so it's packed, but don't take that out on the customer. Pixie and Jewel seem like senior, tenured members of the staff, and they can be the rudest. And there's a white guy at the grill who never wears a nametag, but is always giggling like a little girl wiping his sweat at the stove. The servers usually flock to him to gossip about customers. My opinion, if you have to go, make sure you get one of the younger, female servers. The guys are too busy trying to look cool and hard wearing their aprons and the older ladies don't really give a shit. At least the younger ladies know how to be fake and actually EARN a tip, no matter how they feel about a customer. One time Pixie got so mad at me because I added a coffee to my to go order. A COFFEE! You pour liquid into a cup, I wanted it black. Her response after an eye roll, "Listen I can't do everything around here. I can make the coffee, but you can put everything in it yourself".... mind you I had already asked for it black. -__- Over this place. Knock it down, fire everybody, start over. I visit this store about once a month and tonight was the worst service and food I've ever experienced at any restaurant

I never thought I'd ever find myself in a WH, but here I am a semi-regular. My husband and I go there about once per month to enjoy a buttermilk waffle or two. For a Waffle House, this place is magnificent. Most you see the sign out front with it's missing letters and shady/dirty exterior and you don't even want to go near it. I can honestly say I have never and will never attempt another Waffle House.This one is nice, clean, quick, and cheap. The previous reviewer is right, it is probably not your healthiest option, but it's pretty good considering your next best local option is either Burger King next door or McDonalds across the street during the late night hours. read more

Stopped in on our way through town, mostly because of the pecan waffles. Waffles and coffee were good, service was quick and attentive. Restaurant was clean and plenty of parking was available. read more

We have been going to the WH on Malabar for over 20 years and the food and servicec has always been good. The past 2 times we have gone, in June and just this past weekend, it was horrible! We gave them the benefit of the doubt after our June disaster because every place has their bad days so went back this past weekend, BIG MISTAKE! The sausage was raw in the middle, the waffle was undercooked and doughy and don't even get me started on my eggs!This was after we waited 30 minutes for a table and another 20 for our food. I don't know what you have changed besides the faces we now see but you should probably fix it before you lose more and more customers! I certainly was not impressed with the new manager who, and this is the same one that was on during our last visit, still has no clue what is going, has employees telling her what needs to be done, is rude and could use some people training skills since she appears to have a major chip on her shoulder. I like going to the Waffle House. This time for breakfast my waitress was Rachael. She was very friendly and got everthing just right. The food is always good, reasonably priced, no problems. I recommend the Waffle House to anybody that wants a great quick meal. read more
