This Waffle House have to be the worse WFH ever !!! Literally walked in it was crowded but still was able to get seated for a table of 4. As we were ordering they ran out of grits, okay so we did hash browns. My daughter ordered the kids waffle & bacon. I had chicken and eggs, fiancé ordered the all star breakfast. Last but not least by niece had a sandwich melt. Y'all ALL the waffle machines went out . We just walked out !! Poor service , the ceiling was leaking like oh my gosh. I rather the one OAK st.

The server was nice but the service was less than desirable. For a place that is supposed to be known for their Waffles, they had the worst waffle I've seen. The first waffles our table received was flat and burnt. The server seemed put off by us asking for another one and saying these didn't look right. The second round of waffles didn't look much better. Otherwise, the other food was fine. The two servers seen working kept sitting down in the dining area and constantly played in their phones. I would just avoid this Waffle House.

Pretty clean place that must be pretty busy because they have a line of chairs for people who are waiting to be seated. Very nice people, a little eccentric, but it is Waffle House! My husband said it was a real hamburger and a double is huge. It looked delicious and I am getting one of those next time. I like crispy hash browns, mine weren't. I would have liked the toast a little browner. The eggs was good and the waffle was delicious. Will definitely recommend this place and go back when I am in Slidell!

Good basic southern American food that is well cooked and generously portioned. And the wait staff are always friendly.

Peruvian food is a flavorful fusion of Indigenous, Spanish, Asian, and African influences known for bold flavors, fresh seafood, rice dishes, and vibrant sauces. Everything we ordered was a hit and I'll definitely be back for more! 1. Chicha Morada - A refreshing Peruvian drink made from purple corn, fruit, cinnamon, and spices with a sweet fruity flavor. (MY FAVORITE) 2. Pulpo a la Plancha - Marinated octopus served with patacones, Peruvian corn, and chimichurri. (FAVORITE) 3. Bisteck A Lo Pobre - Steak with fried egg, fried plantains, sautéed onions, and rice. 4. Al Pastor & Carnitas Tacos 5. Pablo's - A South American Taste is tucked away on the outskirts of Olde Town Slidell, and from the outside, you'd never guess what's inside. It looks unassuming--almost like a forgotten storefront--but once you walk in, WOW. Modern, stylish, great music, and such a welcoming vibe. The food was exceptional--rich flavors, beautifully executed, and incredibly satisfying. The drinks were just as impressive, creative and perfectly balanced. Every detail felt elevated. The service truly sealed the deal. Gisella was amazing--attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an incredible experience. You can feel the pride and passion here. Parking tip for first-timers: park on the side street since there's little to no parking directly out front. Don't let that deter you--this place is 100% worth the effort. If you love discovering hidden gems, this is your sign. Pablo's is doing something special, and I hope more people find their way here.

This restaurant has mixed reviews but we found it wonderful! The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas! We started off with 3 Happy Hour Appetizers which were all good but our favorite was the spinach dip with pasta bow ties chips! So yummy! I couldn't decide which drink to start with when one of the bartenders said she had just created a Mardi Gras "New Fashioned" and made it a Christmas drink with icing and sprinkles. Wow!!!! It was delicious! I went on to have the Christmas Cookie martini which was also delicious and a Grinch Mimosa which was good as well. My friends got the Christmas margarita, the Crème brûlée margarita, eggnog martini and cinnamon White Russian. All were amazing! We actually like all of the drinks better than the ones we had at 2 Holiday pop ups! For entrees we had the Cypress burger which was cooked on point, juicy and flavorful along with cups of gumbo and a salad. All of the food was really good. We had a bonus of being there on Trivia night and had so much fun! The staff along with some of the regulars were extremely friendly and helpful. We all agreed we would be back.

I buy extra when I can because of the minus side... It is almost impossible to get in here! I don't mind queuing up to wait at a restaurant, but every time I try to go they are lined up out the door. I have tried to go at off-times and it's still busy. Being so busy, the experience at the counter always feels rushed and there is nowhere to sit, so I never stick around once I have my bagels. I realize it's a good problem for a restaurant to have, but it still makes me want to go elsewhere. Most times I do. The bagels are a definite 5+ stars. The overall experience is 2 stars at best. Splitting the difference and giving them 3. I keep going back (well, trying to, at least) because the bagels are that good. Your results may vary. If you figure out a decent time to go in, give me a holler and let me know. I'll buy you a bagel!

I've only ever had their breakfast here, but they do SUCH a great job, I'll have to come back for their lunches too It's a casual eatery that always seems to be fairly popular. Everything is very reasonably priced, so yummy, and their portions are generous. You'll go home full without completely emptying your wallet I highly recommend their "Poor Man's Benedict" ($10). It's SO good! It comes with their freshly baked biscuit topped with fried chicken and a poached egg, smothered in their homemade sausage gravy. The biscuit is soft, the eggs are perfect, their fried chicken is flavorful and well-seasoned, and the gravy is savory and just makes it feel like comfort food. You really can't miss out on their fried chicken. I know what you're thinking, fried chicken first thing in the morning? Trust me though, it's DELISH and you won't regret it! If you're really hungry, I suggest the "Chicken Fried Platter" ($13). It's very similar to the Benedict, but it comes with an extra side. We tried the hashbrowns and they were yum. Crispy surface and soft on the inside. Just the way I like 'em!
