Ok, I do have to say that the waffles are fantastic but the place is FILTHY DIRTY. From the strings holding the birds and the discolored sound proofing to flies everywhere. The tables and floors are very sticky. This made the experience very subpar. The Mormon memorabilia and kitschy story were very off putting as well. I do have to say that if they're not careful that that one bedroom apartment might be in their future again. I do know how hard it is to run a restaurant but it just seems that the owner is taking their eye off the ball. Also, we came from downtown and called in advance to see if their was a truck closer to us. I enjoyed waffle love. I had never eaten a dessert waffle before this so it could have gone either way. I got the churro waffle with ice cream and raspberries on it. It was definitely deliciousness doubt. I would eat that again. I also tried the waffle with cookie butter and whipped cream and also a lemon one with raspberry on it that my friends got. They were pretty good but the lemon was a bit too strong for me. I was surprised by how crispy the waffles were, they weren't like overly hard or anything, I'm just use to light and fluffy waffles. I went in to get a sandwich super quick. It took almost half an hour to get one sandwich, I work at a restaurant so I understand. Food is made fresh takes longer maybe they have online orders so I tried to be understanding. Once I finally got my food I tried to say thank you but they all turned their backs and couldn't even be bothered. Again I tried to be understanding but after this I got frustrated to then go to my car, open the box and find a huge hair on my sandwich. I've had everything on the menu at least twice and love it all! My very favorite are the the grilled cheese waffle (with tomato soup), the churro waffle with cream and the Works with banana. So the positive is that the food was really good, however the customer service is the reason it's so low and I personally won't come back to this location. There were two girls working, and the only people waiting for their food was my mom and I. They said it would take about 6-7 minutes for it to be ready, and while one girl did nothing but talk, the other one was working extremely slow and stopping every few minutes to talk. Our food took about 25 minutes to finish. This was terrible because I was on a deadline to get back to school, which I was late to. My boyfriend and I went here on a whim for a quick treat. It was later in the evening and to our surprise there were no other customers. which was kind of nice. They employee was friendly and quick. I got the special, some pumpkin spice cream waffle. and my SO got a Nutella and banana waffle. They were both very sweet, but good. My wife's neice told us about this place so we stopped in this morning. The place is pretty nice with plenty of tables to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helped answer any questions we had. We picked up a couple chicken and waffles and a banana cream pie for our kiddo. The chicken was very moist and crunchy with great flavor. The waffles are very delicious and would be great with any toppings. Overall, a great place to go and enjoy excellent food. But my first disappointment was the price 3 waffles two plain one with strawberries two milks $17.00. Second was the waffle dough it was not even runny or poured the guy was grabbing at a glob and weighing it on a scale. Where is that great poured on the pan dough! Then we waited what seemed like for ever to get these waffles, did I mention no coffee, just soda and milk. We got the waffles and they were kinda of small, worst of all they had sugar chunks in them. Who puts sugar junks in a item that is already sweet.
