We ordered two burritos that came with minimal protein servings, lots of slaw with NO DRESSING and cheese. Rice & beans were omitted. Super annoyed that we felt cheated. Plus we asked for napkins to go. They weren't in the bag when we got in the car so I had to go back for them which involved the employee going to the back kitchen area. Love Wahoo's easy dining. It is a step up from fast food and has a relaxed beachy atmosphere. Staff is consistently helpful and friendly. There is something about the way that they serve the food that gives you the feeling of being special. Their food is excellent. I like that you are able to choose your proteins and can decide how much or how little carbs you want. I have become a creature of habit and get the Citrus Slaw tacos, changing up the proteins. My husband usually orders one of the salads that are equally as good. We enjoy playing the onscreen trivia game when we dine in. read more

I had lunch today at Wahoo's in Yorba Linda. What a difference from last year. I was greeted upon arrival by Wynter. A very friendly group of folks work there. I ordered a fish taco plate. Generous portions, very flavorful......and it was nice and hot. In the past, the food was good but the fish wasn't always hot. Not the case since the beginning of this year. The server checked back with me more than once to be sure that everything was ok and asked if there was anything more that I needed. When I was finished, she promptly cleared my table. We usually eat there every couple of weeks. It's changed.....for the better. It felt like there was new management. Great food, excellent service, in a fun atmosphere. We'll be back. read more

I love Wahoo's but this location is a mess. I came in a little before 7 PM and had a difficult time finding a place to sit because at least half the tables had dirty dishes on them. The salsa bar neesedi refilling and had dirty plates stacked directly on the bottom - see pics. There were two people working the counter and although one had time to clean she continued to walk around versus bussing tables. Multiples people asked her to clean a table for them. Its just so messy I lost my appetite wondering what the kitchen must look like if this is what we can see. Also, the front door doesn't properly close causing a portion of the dining room to be freeing from the breeze. Good quality here is not the same either. When I finished my meal the tables still were not bussed. This location needs more staff or an adult manager to keep priorities in order. Done with this location. read more

The family and I are big fans of Wahoo's Fish Tacos. The food is always good and the service is excellent. This particular location is a bit off the beaten path and you have to look for it. It is worth the search though as the food is consistently great and the restaurant itself is clean. They offer much more than Fish Tacos. I DoorDash'd 2 salads ($40) and when they got delivered there was no salad dressing for either salad. I do not blame the door dasher because Wahoos closed up the bag so she would've had no idea if everything was in there or not. I could see if maybe I ordered french fries and they forgot to throw in the ketchup packets, no problem I have ketchup at home... but what I don't have at home is the delicious honey lime vinaigrette that comes with this salad. And let's be honest, no one is eating a salad without salad dressing. It also baffles me that the person who was packing up the order didn't think "oh there's two salads here, maybe there should be some salad dressing??? I even wrote a note in my order (which ALSO printed out on the receipt) which said "dressing on the side please (thank you)" I'd think if they even bothered to glance at the order/receipt they would've seen that note, which also would've prompted them to include the salad dressing! read more

I've got to say, I've been going to Wahoo's at this location for 10+ years and have always had a good experience. Lately the service has gone down hill significantly to a point that I needed to write this review. During my last visit we waited for 40 minutes while dining in to get our food. Many people that had ordered before us recover their food but for some reason ours was held up. I inquired twice about it and was meet with some attitude, were busy and have limited staff. Ok got it but does no one care about customer experience anymore especially when asking for a "pre-tip" at the register. Was here today. I love Wahoos because they give you ample portions of food. I always order the wahoo bowl with chicken. Today -same. Except when I got it 1/2 the plate was some salad and there was maybe 10 tiny pieces of chopped chicken. This is not what I've ever experienced. New way for the company to save money? I called them around 6:10 pm on a Sunday evening asking them if I can order something from catering menu. Many restaurants do not allow ordering from catering menu for a large party w/o 24 hour notice. But the manager was super nice, she asked me to wait to check if they can cater my order and shortly confirmed they can. I ordered 2 Taco combo (Chicken, Tofu, Veggie) from their catering menu for 25 pple and they got it ready in less than 40 minutes. Wow, sad day! It takes a lot for me to give 1 star. This was not the Wahoo's I know! Bland bland bland! Could not be more disappointed for how hungry I was and how much I was looking forward to this. I ordered a two taco plate to go (covid19); 1 mild fish taco 1988 style, 1 shrimp taco 1988 style. Neither had any salsa on them at all, both were bland as hell and stuffed with cabbage. Literally zero flavor!! I don't go out much right now given the covid19 situation, so what a let down! The rice was bland and even had a couple chunks of hard/crunchy rice, the beans were good at least. I had to use a whole thing of salsa on each taco and the rice to have any flavor at all. As far as the restaurant itself, I was glad to see the employees all wearing masks and the guy at the register with gloves and a face shield, but the stores itself felt dirty, which surprised me being as no one is allowed to dine in. When I say dirty, I obviously don't mean food on the floors, I mean dusty dirty.... this location physically needs some TLC. The restaurant is always freezing inside. I don't get cold easily. It literally smells like a sewer. Has for the last 2 years. It takes forever to get the food. The rice is literally cold. But Julieta was very rude and rushed me as I placed my order therefore an entire meal was missed as my family received their orders I was the only who didn't after leaving a $10 tip! My friend and I were on our way to OC to have a meal, but when we missed our onramp to another freeway, we saw there was a Wahoo Fish Taco nearby. Naturally, we skipped our meal in OC and decided to eat here instead. It was delicious! I have come to know Wahoo since the 90's, so I was sure that I was in for a good meal. My friend had never been so it was a great first choice after missing our exit. I had the Bonzai burrito with shrimp, as well as he did too. However, he opted for no meat, as he's a vegetarian. You cannot go wrong with this burrito if you love Asian cuisine. If you love bowls, I believe you can get this food option in a bowl. The size of the burrito reminds me of Chipotle burritos for comparison. Simple ingredients, you'll find the inside is tossed in ta sweet teriyaki sauce that is just delicious. I also like to dip it in their house-made green sauce. Locations are hard to find, but if you're lucky enough to eat at one, you're in for a delicious meal. My friend and I left full and was happy that our detour took us here instead. Customer service is excellent! Bathrooms are well stocked and clean. Plenty of parking, so you're sure to find a space easily. Location is off the freeway, so easy access for a hop on and hop off freeway detour. read more

What is going on with this location (MAINLY THE STENCH)? It's definitely the oddest Wahoos around (and I've been to most of the Orange County locations). Lets address the elephant in the room (since I can't find another review about this.... We stopped at this location for lunch a month or so ago. Walked in, got half way to the register, and could not take the sewage smell. In the best interest of our health and safety, we left. So tonight after a month or so, we figured we'd try again. Surely it couldn't still smell like sewage. Whatever issue was happening had to have been resolved by now. NOPE! Went to pick up lunch and one of the workers Dave went above & beyond to ensure we were satisfied w/ our food. Dave was so accommodating and friendly!
