Garlic, shrimp, and Kailua pork nachos

Good food, casual and chill ambiance and fast food service. Ate lunch by beach side very calming. Got to eat some Kalua pork and had some garlic shrimp super filling - now no need for luau lol

Cheeseburger with 2 onion rings on it was delicious! Appreciated the maui onion chips on the side. Service was quick and staff friendly.

I'd give this restaurant a three and a half stars. I went here twice during my vacation, each time after the beach. The location is great since it's right off of the beach, and there are quite a few tables and chairs close by (mostly all shaded!!). The workers were nice, and the food came out quickly every time. I got the chicken strips with truffle fries both times, and the fries are good, but I'm not the biggest fan of the chicken strips. They are almost completely flavorless, and you need some sort of sauce to make them taste good. They were still pretty crunchy though which is a plus. I also got the lemonade with passion fruit which was delicious. I think it's a good place to eat if you're at the beach or after you come from the beach. A bit pricey though

Shrimp is insanely fishy tasting, salad sucks, and the seating area is dirty and filled with sand on the chairs

Food is overpriced. Service was quick and everyone was super nice. I guess that's the price you pay to eat in Waikīkī!

    Pineapple slushy

This review is only for their pineapple slushy drink. The slushy is refreshing and tart! The extra slices of raw pineapple are very juicy and flavorful. The downside is that you can't really eat the rest of the pinepple inside, and it is a bit expensive ($18 for the drink). Regardless, it's fun to try and drink on the beach!

If you're lounging in Kuhio Beach in Waikiki Bay and in need of a snack it doesn't get much more convenient than Waikiki Beachside Bistro. Is the food a little overpriced? Sure, but you're likely in Hawaii on Vacation so go ahead and throw $20 at a Pineapple smoothie. It adds to vacation experience. The pulled pork nachos hit the spot. The pork was tender and juicy and the toppings really created rich flavor with each bite. The jalapeños were especially hot and provided a satisfying snap during each bite. Definitely try this spot if you're in the area.

Got hungry while at the beach and wanted to get some food! I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Plate. The flavor of the shrimp with garlic and basil with the spicy garlic aioli was sooo good! I wish they gave more shrimp, lol! The plate came with rice and salad. I also go the Island surfer. I mean, when in Hawaii, why not? It was on the pricey side, but overall a nice treat!

What do you expect to see at your typical snack bar at the beach? Burgers, fries, nachos, ice cream, right? Well, that's what you'll find here, but add to that local grindz....poké, loco moco, plate lunches, shave ice. It's good for a beach snack bar, with some tables just a stones throw away from the sand. Bistro? No. Snack bar at the beach? Yes. Order and pick up at the window. Come to quickly refuel before you return to your sun worshipping beach towel not too far away. Aloha Waikiki sun.

I saw these pineapple drinks and knew I had to have them. I had no idea where they were from but after taking a stroll outside our hotel (moan) I saw the sign and knew our next beach day I had to have them. Manly for fun IG photos lol but they sure did look amazing. They were! So refreshing, fresh and oh so adorable!! I didn't even realize they had food!

Kapahulu burger was amazing! I thought it was a little pricey for burger & fries but it wasn't considering how good it was. The wait to receive our food was fast. We sat along the grass and ate. Perfect location for those spending the day at Waikiki beach.

We came for the shrimp and they don't have the shrimp. We usually order thebeach side bistro luau plate. The Guy told us that they will give extra Kalua pig and sweet potato it's not even extra. It's more like rice. and I went to ask for more Lumi salmon tomato they said they don't do it, but I told him I'll pay for it if it's extra and they said oh we just don't do it for the lumi salmon so rude and also the guy that taking order he's rushing us to order. He look like he's not so happy what he's doing.

I had a great pineapple smoothie in a pineapple at Waikiki Beachside Bistro. Fast service and fairly decent food. Conveniently right on Waikiki Beach.

Best burgers on the beach hands down. Get there early though because when they run out of food they close.

The menu has changed to a more tapa style. We went with our two young children & they were very accommodating. We ordered a bunch of stuff but most notable was the Ensalada Salad, Croquette Cordero, Taco Raisu, Karaage Pollo, and for dessert, the Piña Borracha. We ordered some pork and steak skewers. These were ok, I would skip these next time. A little burnt. My favorite was the Ensalada Salad. The crab was sweet and the salsa opaca was so refreshing with the apple foam. Was told to smash the crisp on top and combine it with everything and that took it to another level! So good that we ordered another one. The price of this was so affordable too! The Croquette Cordero was like a mini curry ball with chimuchirri sauce. A little heavy but if you love curry, this is for you! The Taco Raisu surprised us. The taco meat was so flavorful!! Even though we were stuffed, we kept going back for more. It's like a deconstructed taco & you use the lettuce as a wrap. The Karaage Pollo came with a Cucumber Escabeche. It was so tangy and refreshing, which perfectly cuts through the rich, savory oiliness of the fried chicken. We got the Piña Borracha for dessert and that had a coconut cake, coconut lime mousse, banana lilikoi curd, and pasted pineapple on top. Amazing!! Great way to end the night. Everything was top notch. You can tell they put a lot of effort into each dish. Can't wait to go back!

The restaurant hours are relatively calm, but switches gears when it becomes a nightclub. Restaurant-wise, I believe the menu had a recent change-up to further explore fusion possibilities. I've been going down the list and the dishes have been pretty good so far; I haven't made it to the taco raisu yet, but I do need me some desserts. The picarones is like a peruvian andagi, which was pretty cool. The miso cream brûlée was from the prior menu, but also a Yes. The bar is knowledgeable and innovative their mixology- I've had the shizuku garden and that was amazing.

When our party first walked in, we were a tiny bit skeptical because of the empty room (which was beautifully decorated). Ramen, according to the server, was the most popular thing on the menu, so how likely could it get messed up? Tonkatsu: Rich, but lacked any salt or had very little. We requested some salt and that instantly made the ramen better. The noodles had enough salt to carry it, but the broth was not great. It tasted like the broth was watered down or reconstituted, however no seasoning was added to re-adjust the broth. Broth: Had little salt and lacked punch, umami, and was brown instead of white. Noodles: Had enough salt to taste good, but was slightly overcooked Pork: Extremely bland. Tasted like zero salt was added during cooking. Toppings: Greatly lacking in toppings Tsukemen: The Tsukemen had a lot of the same issues. Now being a dipping ramen, the broth should be even richer and more flavorful than any normal ramen. Tsukemen -- no matter where you have it in Japan, should be richer and saltier than most broths, but the broth here was severely lacking. For $26 a bowl this was worse than your DIY frozen ramen packs. Now I'm not asking for Japan-level of ramen mastery here, this is after all, just a tourist spot -- but if your Tonkatsu is the best selling item, you have to step it up. Our server did mention that some people complained about the amount of salt in ramen, so they adjusted it. But dare I say, instead of diluting the normal salt/seasoning amount for everyone, couldn't you just add a separate, flavor-light version for people inexperienced with ramen, instead of diluting the original for everyone else? If you're reading this Mr. Morimoto, I would highly encourage you to fly here and order the ramen. I think you and I would share the same opinions. P.S. I've also been to your other Morimoto spots and it was not this bad.
