Unique donut shop located in a shopping center near the beach. They had a ton of donut choices on their massive chalkboard menu and had a display showing off the different donuts as well. Everything looked delicious, but I settled on the glazed croissant and the couch potato donut. The glazed croissant is a must order! It's the best of both breakfast worlds - a croissant with glazed donut frosting. The couch potato donut was a great mixture of sweet from the frosting and salty with the chips. Service was wonderful too! There was only one employee working the cash register, but when the line was getting longer, an employee that was folding boxes stopped what he was doing to jump in and help. I'd come back here - especially because I need to try all of their donut flavors!

We had an amazing experience. It was so good. I don't even know how I could put it into words. Matt was absolutely amazing. He gave us the best recommendations and he was so sweet and friendly. As you can see pictured below. We will be back!

If you're in Wilmington, and you love donuts, you need to stop in. Or maybe you love great coffee? Yes, stop in. Bonus if you love both! So many to try! I had the cinnabomb with a large cappuccino! Pretty great start to the day, ignoring calories. Seriously, this place is great. I imagine you need to stop in early, before they sellout. We got there about 8:30 am - that worked. They did have a steady stream of customers!!!

We noticed this donut and coffee shop while camping at the state park. We stopped in to grab a cuppa coffee and was wild by the donut selection. I got a Boston cream filled croissant, which was absolutely amazing. We also got a regular glazed doughnut and they had a special where they were giving away free chocolate cake, donuts. The caramel macchiato was also great. The young man who waited on us had amazing customer service and was super helpful and nice. There's space to sit at a donut bar and a few tables. They have lots and lots of merch available for purchase. The place was also decorated for Halloween, which was kind of fun. I would highly recommend stopping here.

This was our go to breakfast spot when we started our mornings on a recent vacation to Carolina Beach. The donuts were fresh and flavorful. I had coffee as well and it was good. We will be back! I got a hoodie as well a few years ago when we first discovered this place and it's my favorite.

Staff was patient and helpful as the choices were hard to choose from, unique names! They were amazing donuts! We liked the purple rain, samo and reese pbutter cup best!

Solid donuts, they always have some creative flavors. Make sure to go early for best section, 3 of 6 I picked out today were the last ones - I went around 11:45 for reference.

Fun and delicious, fresh donuts, a bit pricy yet splurge worthy. Unique donut shop that is conveniently located on 421 and off of Dow Road, in the plaza. It was Sunday morning so they were busy. Service was good. As a returning customer, still think they're wonderful, highly recommend!

This place had so many fun flavors, I was so excited to try it! My favorite was the Carolina sand. The apple fritters had actual apple chunks in them, and idk why I just was not a huge fan of that haha. The service was okay. The two workers in there seemed like they didn't really know what was going on. I did order an iced white mocha, then after paying they say they don't have ice. Okayyyyy, I guess I'll take it hot? It was pretty good though so at least there's that!

I was told to come here by a friend who heard I would be traveling to the area. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, however I love sugary cereals and when I saw a fruity pebble donut a I had to try. I am SO glad I did. The cereal wasn't soggy (as it would be in a real bowl of cereal) and the donut it's self was perfect. The icing tasted like the milk that's had fruity pebbles in it. It was glorious! I came the next morning and got the froot loop one. Also so good but the fruity pebble one was better. I will continue to come here when I visit Carolina Beach. The service was great too.

Wake N Bake Doughnuts isn't just a place to eat--it's an experience. Whether you're a hardcore doughnut fan or just a casual connoisseur, please plan and prepare to have your taste buds waked N baked to perfection. Just remember to pace yourself; these doughnuts should come with a warning label.

The vegan donuts were just not good at all. Not at all worth the calories, and I sampled several. I was bummed.

We arrived around 4:30 and beat the dinner rush, which gave us a beautiful evening outside. From the moment we sat down, it felt less like going to a restaurant and more like coming home after a long day at the beach. Our servers, Abigail and Allie, were both wonderful--friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Service like that is getting harder to find these days, and they deserve a lot of credit. We started with the fried okra, and there were barely any left by the time I thought to take a picture. Crisp, hot, and some of the best we've had. The Black and Red wings were excellent too--full of flavor with just the right amount of kick. The fries were seasoned and cooked just right. The outside seating has a great atmosphere, and even the little details stood out. The place was clean, including the restroom, and seeing their 97.5 sanitation score posted proudly gave us even more confidence. They even had a Venus flytrap outside--only in Carolina Beach can a restaurant have its own bug patrol on duty. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

The everything bagel with sausage and egg was outstanding. One thing that immediately stood out was that the seasoning actually covers the entire bagel--not just the top like you find at so many places. Looking around, it appears they do the same with their sesame, poppy, and other specialty bagels. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference in every bite. The restaurant was clean, bright, and welcoming. Their chalkboard menu is easy to read, there's an impressive variety of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cream cheese flavors, and even a full vegan menu. You can tell they take pride in what they offer. What impressed me even more than the food was the staff. Everyone I encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming. They noticed I was a military veteran and applied the veteran discount without me having to ask, which was a thoughtful gesture that I sincerely appreciated. Whether you're grabbing breakfast on the way to work or just looking for a great bagel, Seaside Bagels is well worth the stop.
