She insisted it was "Thai tea," and I corrected her--multiple times--clearly stating that I did not want Thai tea, just unsweet tea with sugar. Despite this, she brought me a Thai tea, a $6 drink and with ice $7, which I did not order. Before I could correct it, she rushed away. The tea happened to be good, so I let it go rather than make a scene--something I now regret. When she delivered our appetizer, she dropped it on the table without a word. No explanation, no courtesy, no acknowledgment. The same thing happened when she brought our entrées--food was placed down silently and abruptly, as if we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. When my husband ran out of tea, she finally returned and said, "Oh, would you like tea?" Then immediately asked if we wanted our food, clearly rushing us. I handed her my debit card, completed the transaction, and still left a very good tip, even though the service was poor. She looked at the screen and said, "This is for the tip?" I confirmed it was. She then yanked the payment machine out of my hand, pulled the card out, and threw it on the table. That behavior is completely unacceptable under any circumstances.
