    Yummy!

The food and service is above and beyond. The entire crew is super friendly. I've worked my way through the majority of their menu items. Delicious & resonably priced!!

Took my information and card over the phone. Charged me 11$ for a waffle then refused to refund me when I asked for payment back after not wanting to accept the food. There were no other issues with my order. Terrible service will never be back

Really tasty food and cute ambiance :) A little pricy, but thankfully worth every penny and absolutely filling! Service was fast and attentive. Thanks for the good eats!

Wall Street Diner 4428 N. Wall St. Spokane, WA 99205 509-325-4730 270724 My wife and me dropped into the wall street diner yesterday afternoon, just as we have over the years for another great meal. As soon as the door opened, we were greeted, with a big smiling "welcome" by one of the people working there. Then almost immediately taken to a nice booth by Ayla, our waitress. Our waitress, yes, I know this not politically correct, but right now nothing is politically correct, so I am using it because it fits the situation. She is not a "a wait person" she is a woman. This place has that old time neighborhood feel to it. The floors are clean, the tables are spotless, as are the seats and the bathroom. There are nice historic pictures all along the ledge near the ceiling that are nice to look at. It just feels comfortable to be there. Since we both like the same breakfast, we asked for the California omelet. This omelet is delicious, and it was big enough that we split it and then took the rest home. The picture is from the internet, unknown photographer. In our opinion, it is just that! We recommend this diner over and above any other similar place in town.

Breakfast special 1:2 biscuits and gravy, one egg and 1 bacon or sausage. Best bacon I've ever had and perfectly cooked.

I always drive by and say to my family that I want to stop in. I love the old timey diners of yesteryear. My kids had a day off from school so we went out to breakfast. We went around 8:00am. The lot was pretty full, 1-2 spots open, a spot maybe on the street. It looked much busier than it was inside. 5 good size booths, 4 or 4 top tables and 2 or 2 seater booths along with the front bar seating. We were surprised how spacious it was compared to how it looks from the outside. We were able to get a seat right away. Service was spot on. It appeared an employee may have had a kiddo there due to a little backpack and coloring sheet. There was one kiddo at the bar with a couple patrons who were enjoying his company. As a mama I appreciated knowing that she has an employer who allowed her kiddo to come for part of the day. Really sealed the family diner feel. Kids loved their food. Portion sizes were great. The food was delicious. Our favorite cafe closed and we have been missing a good quality biscuits and gravy thats rich but no rich and full that it immediately gives you a stomach ache. The bacon was probably the best I've ever had and was perfectly cooked. Again, great and attentive service, yummy food, homey and very clean location. We will be back!

Glad that we finally made our way north to try this spot. When we checked online it said up to a half hour wait but we were seated immediately. It's a fairly small venue but they can turn the tables quickly with their efficient and accurate kitchen. Staff was super friendly, but maybe to a fault. By that I mean that several of their servers would congregate near two tables of regulars beside us and neglect things like coffee refills and cashing out other tables. That was bothersome for me. I am NEVER that customer who wags his empty coffee cup at a server but I was VERY tempted to do so this day. Mentally I WAS doing that as well as jumping on my chair ti try and break their spell--I'm sure they didn't even know they were doing it!! As for their food, it was indeed pretty good. Wife loved how the bacon was cooked and her egg over medium-well was also perfect. Nice, too that you can choose either two smaller hotcakes or toast as a side. The chicken fried steak patty however was below average. It's seriously so easy to bread and fry a cube steak that no one anywhere ever should buy those frozen CFS pucks! Have to say that the prices were on the high side and $3.95 for coded is the highest I've seen in town (but in their defense, it is locally toasted and pretty good coffee).

This is a great neighborhood cafe! Great selection of breakfast's items , the gals here are all very friendly and great service ,

If your wait staff who makes as much as some people with degrees do cant even answer a simple question about the soup of the day without acting like shes put out then don't on top of that charge $20 for a basic ass sandwich and handful of lettuce. Trying to enjoy a meal with my grandmother while having to listen to that lady whistle like a serial killer just didn't give us an enjoyable experience! Weird!

Five booths deep including the one behind us.

Decent breakfast but a little too cozy. Waitresses were terse and efficient, but not unfriendly or welcoming. Just an A-OK experience here.

While this Downtown location is the flagship diner, Frank's Diner also opened a second location in North Spokane. [Parking]: The diner has a designated parking lot and I had no issue finding an available spot at 6 PM on a weekday. [Atmosphere]: Upon entering, there is a sign stating that the diner serves "15 thousand eggs and 3 tons of hash browns per month." The railcar has a great retro vibe and visitors can choose between bar seating and table seating. [Menu]: Yelp's top recommended items include Eggs Benedict and Chicken-Fried Steak. Breakfast favorites are served with hashbrowns or fruit and a choice of toast. There is also no extra charge for adding gravy or grilled onions to your hashbrowns. Do yourself a favor and choose the hashbrowns and also ask to add gravy on hashbrowns. *** Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs (Half-pound crispy chicken fried steak with cream gravy and two eggs - sunny side, gravy on hashed brown, biscuit - $22.00): My waitress, Jenn, recommended the biscuit so I went with it. The hashbrowns were absolutely heavenly - crispy on the edges and moist on the inside. It was hands down one of the best hashbrowns I have ever had. The gravy was silky smooth. And holy crap the biscuit was a home run - ultra fluffy + amazing tasting jam (not overly sweet). The portion was so large that I had enough leftovers for the next day. *** It was an unexpected find in Spokane and absolutely S-tier for both food quality and service. In fact, I think the food here is better than many classic and upscale breakfast spots in Los Angeles. Absolutely a must-visit in Spokane.

That's probably the highlight of the whole experience. I started with the Cheshire Cat mocktail, which was a bit oversweet for me. It was decent, but the portion felt small for the price. Salmon rillette ended up being the best dish! It was rich, savoury, and delicious when paired with pickled onions (the bread was slightly burnt - I hated it). Ended the meal with a vanilla gelato dessert - just okay, not too wow. We told the server it tasted burnt & old so she offered to make a fresh pot. It was just as bad, when she asked we said it was still really yucky and she said that a lot of people don't care for it. I ordered the tamale waffle. The beef was great, eggs were a bit overcooked but no biggie, the waffle was really hard and dry. It needs some sort of crema sauce or something. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but it wasn't great either. My mom got the veggie breakfast burrito and she liked the veggies though it was bland, felt like it could have had more sour cream & cheese. It was massive and came with a side. The added 16% service fee is some real BS. It says on the receipt that it's split between the server & the kitchen staff. Call me old fashioned but I thought it was on the restaurant to pay their staff a living wage. At $18 a breakfast plate & $4 for drip coffee you should be able to pay your staff. And then we're supposed to tip on top of that? Nope.
