I can almost count with two hands how many time I have been inside a Walmart. The four stars goes to the entire staff that can tolerate working at this location. I came back to pay a utility bill and they can facilitate that transaction for $1.50. Not bad if you ask me! Loved the transgender rep makeup! Loved to see the diversity on the staff. They do monitor to see if you are standing in safe location, you know, social distance. Especially in the customer service line. Now they offer other services that I found hysterical. For example as you walkin they have a indie vendor todo your nails. Well, guess who had 2 woman doing his nails? Some old white dude! LOL he looked like he was in heaven. It's okay we all need TLC! The rest of the store gives me anxiety. I dunno if its the lighting? Or the set up but the entire experience makes me feel like I am in the twilight-zone. My husband and I had the most ridiculous experience at this store. We wanted to buy men's underwear and found they were locked up. So, we pressed the button, waited a long time, no one came. We went on to other parts of the store and ran into an associate. We asked about the men's underwear. He was just clocking in but would try and find someone. We asked another associate, it was not her department. A few minutes later we ran into another associate. We were informed that the woman with the "keys" was stationed at the fitting rooms and couldn't leave. She then recommended we come back another time. Are you kidding?! Why would we ever come back to this store again? So many things are locked up. I get it, thief is running rampant. However, paying customers should not have to "come back another day". We walked out, never to return. I would rather shop at Walmart but must order online to get what we need. This type of nonchalant customer service is what drives people online to make purchases. Every associate except the cashier had their name badges on backward. Did not offer assistance while continuously walking past us. The store is dirty, and shelves are confusing. The layout for the food aisles are mismatched. The cashier was cashing people out, and the customer was gathering up the purchases, reaching over to the key pad and rating her performance at a 4 star rating. The air fresheners in the bathroom were in white sleeves, laying on top of the trashcans where any child could access them. This store is in desperate need of a remodel. read more

Found a gift card for Walmart. I rarely go - look at other ratings to see why. But my daughter need a COVID test, so I figured, why not? Yeah, why not because the gift card wouldn't process. I felt bad for the guy (who was not well trained; not his fault) and I wanted to get the tests to my daughter so I used my credit card. Now I wish I had stood there until someone could fix things. Every time I have ever gone through the checkout, the person has been super nice and friendly even. Walmart has all the consumer goods that your heart could ever want! They have a bathroom, Burger King, and you can even get a mani-pedi! I'm not sure why people are complaining. At approximately 0734 I was checking out when Employee by the name HB (door greeter) told a lady she was walking the wrong way, she continued to walk and he then told the Asian lady "Do you also drive like that, The wrong way." Your typical Walmart. Dirty, unorganized, and full of people with attitudes. Still like it because it's cheap.

This location has one of the better selections of clearance items than the few surrounding locations. I usually have consistent luck finding camping equipment, significantly reduced in price. I also like that this location has a full aisle of clearance items rather than 1-2 shelves like some of the other stores. For the most part, I can shop without assistance and I use the app to price check things. I really try to avoid having to interact with anyone because the employees at this location are ALWAYS in a bad mood. Doesn't matter what time of day it is. You could walk into an aisle and make eye contact multiple times and not get acknowledged or greeted. Good luck if you need a price check because the employees are always "in the middle of something" and as soon as you ask, you will definitely feel like you've somehow inconvenienced them. It has happend to me multiple times. Don't even get me started on experiences where I've needed someone to grab something off the top shelf for me. The employees are pretty bold, too. They aren't afraid to roll their eyes at you, let out irritated little huffs, express their frustration through their stances, completely disregard your apology for "interrupting their work". Won't stop me from coming to this store but I'll be honest, I hate having to interact with the store employees. read more

The store closes at 11 p.m. but RETURNS CLOSE AT 7 p.m! What store closes returns 4 hours before the store closes? Time to shop at Costco or Target where I can show up at 715 pm and make a simple return. Only 4 self checkout registers. Sometimes one is broken and brings the grand total to 3 self checkout registers. Most Wal-Marts and Costcos have many more self checkout registers and the local Target has 3 or 4 times as many which means customers don't have to wait in huge lines to checkout. Lots of homeless in the parking lot. Planters are unkept and full of weeds. There are better choices. read more

I live right by this Walmart and generally like to shop at Walmart for a lot of things but shopping at this one can be a heavy struggle. I know retail is going through shrinkage increases in recent years but so much of the men's clothing are in lock-up racks. Even things like socks require getting an employee to open the case. That would only be slightly annoying but there's rarely an employee available at all. I waited almost 15 minutes to get someone to open the lockup where the jeans were. At the same time, other things that probably should be locked up for safety (literal machetes?!) are just sitting out. That aside, the store is pretty constantly messy and disorganized. Self checkout wasn't taking my card and I stood there for at least 5 minutes retrying the card in case it was just a user error. I've been extremely busy for the holidays and really needed to cash right now to gas up my car and finish up my shopping, but they refused to cash my check after a excruciating amount of waiting in line. I went in to Walmart today, I have been shopping at this store for about 10 yrs. I had everything that I needed and went to the garden section of the store to pay. My transaction would go through.. the cashier had me try several times, so I was toldto go back into the store back to the front cashiers and try again, I walked back and the cashier tried again and it wouldn't go through. This same situation was happening with several customers... RED FLAG for me!! When I got home I called my Bank, my card is fine and all of those traction did not clear. This Walmart is the worst walmart ever. Three employees have harassed me 3 times and seen another time, the same two employees watch me and also the manager watch me. I spoke to manger about it and nothing done. Today I see manger watch me again. I havnt stole anything. One of the employees said because I smell and look homeless. I'm not homeless. I work construction as a Union Welder making $60 hr and smell because I'm full of grease and fumes. Im contacting my Attorney and gunna be wright up harassment and asking for employee termination or lawsuit against Walmart. Will also if attorney advise it to get a restraining order against the two employees. Both employees walk around acting tuff every time I've seen them. Our item was purchased less than a week ago on July 3rd, never used the item, just opened the packaging and brought the original packaging back as well with the original credit card, and Wal-Mart/terrible customer rejection employees CANNOT look up a receipt in less than 7 days with the original card, ID, and bank transaction? The next statement that was said to us was that we might have stolen the items for all they knew, yet we walked directly to returns from the store front ‍ Strangely enough, Walmart.com denied this fraudulent truth pretty quickly and another Walmart returned the items back to our card with no problems. Honestly, the shittiest customer service I've experienced I was looking for a toy last night went to the Santa Ana location. They didn't have it available. Then I went to the Huntington Beach location where they did have it available when I was at the Santa Ana location I purchased a Christmas tree and when I got to the Huntington Beach location, I noticed the tree was on sale, when I went to return an item that I over purchased, I asked if they can honor the difference, which was a small difference because I was told the night before that customer service was closed and they would honor the price difference, when I drove through traffic from Newport to Huntington Beach, I was told they would not honor it and they couldn't make an exception for a slight price variation. It wasn't like it was a different county or a different store. It was Walmart in Orange County.. I am so disappointed with their customer service and not allowing an exception for the same exact product. If you plan on going to Walmart, don't expect any type of great customer service.. and they should tell all their employees the correct policy when it comes to any type of price matching or price honoring between the different stores so that the communication is correct because it was a complete waste of time and energy read more

This Walmart likes to profile people using self checkout. There were 4 people using it including us, my large tattooed husband and my colorful hair and tattooed self, and the lady was hovering over his shoulder the whole time we were checking out but not looking at anyone else. It's a Walmart, by now most of us know what to expect when you walk in. Service is kinda okay, lines are messy partly because of the cashiers but also because of the customers.
