This Review is for the Optical Department. They have lost my business forever and have even motivated me to seek out Laser Corrective Surgery. I used to come here and purchase fames only with my VSP insurance, as the quality of their lenses was not up to my standard. I did this for 6 years, then all of a sudden they refused to allow me to use my benefits for the fames only siting the fact that they don't make enough money off me that way. They called it "Buy Back". I will not be bullied into purchasing something from them that I do not want to purchase. At least I wont have to see the dumb insulted look on their faces every time I said I only wanted the frames only and not their cheap low quality lenses. One cashier per twelve people. Nobody to help in the aisles, only grunting janitors. Everything is cheap yet still not worth it. Homeless in the area are abrasive and will not hesitate to come up to your car to ask you for money. Nobody in this store cares about customers. Figures a large corporation would train its employees to treat people like sheep. Update: stood in line (see picture) for 45 minutes just to be told they couldn't even cash our check. The check was from UPS, a global company with plenty of renown. No indication on their signage at all about this. The store layout doesn't make much sense, and I had to hunt for an employee to ask where the office supplies were. Can't write an amazing, super mind blowing review for Wal Mart because the folks that work here aren't having a good time, but prices are cheapo and that fits the bill sometimes. I came into this Walmart by pure chance and was much more disappointed by what I saw than I could have expected. I was looking for an item when I walked by a sad and pathetic display of Beta fish in their "fish" department?? Why does Walmart even sell live animals? They're kept in tiny, plastic cups in direct sight of one another. When an employee named Gary asked me if he could help with something I asked him about the conditions of these Beta fish and he was quick to snap at me that I didn't know what I was talking about. He was extremely rude and defensive when all I had was a question. He also moved the fish even closer together and claimed them to be "healthy". I have to downgrade my rating of this store, and also retract something I wrote in my last review of this Lynnwood site: this store is now WAY inferior to the Renton site, since the Renton store underwent a major renovation and updating about 10 months ago or so. Every time I visit this store, it's in disarray. Clothing is placed or hung on the wrong shelves or on the wrong racks, and customers leave items in all the wrong places and departments. Either the employees here don't care or they can't keep up, or they're understaffed. All I know it, it's often hard to find clothing you need, in the right size, even when they say they are in stock, they're often impossible to find. And the women's and juniors' department has looked really messy every time I've visited, with clothing strewn on the floor, under racks, half off their hangers, or shoved like rags in the shelves instead of folded. Again, it seems that probably the employees just can't keep up in straightening the merchandise when customers keep messing it up, or there's just not enough people who work here to keep it nice and stocked. The women's' fitting room area is chaotic. Maybe it's my bad luck, but I'm always here when there's a long line to use the few dressing rooms available. The area is crowded with carts full of unwanted clothes or stuff that doesn't fit, as well as deserted carts and those belonging to the people trying on clothes. That said, I still come here sporadically, as the prices on basic clothes, school supplies and basic food items just can't be beat. read more

Let's talk about Linda. Linda works in the fitting rooms, and tonight she decided to make a comment that would not only be offensive on it's own, but she chose a horrible candidate to whom she should make said comment. I went to Walmart to get some comfortable work pants, as a friend recommended "jeggings." Alright. So, having never tried them before, I'm looking for a size 10 - which is the pant size I usually wear. They only had two options in the style I wanted: 8-10 and XL. I grabbed them both thinking 'I don't know how this type of pant fits; might as well see if I'm somewhere in between.' I very politely approached Linda and said, "Hi, I've got two to try on please." She said nothing for a moment, then, "Just different sizes?" "Yeah, I'm not sure how these fit, first time trying them." "Medium and extra large?" "This was all you guys had." "I don't think the medium will cut it, but go ahead and try, I guess." ...excuse me? FIRST of all, I've lost over 50lbs in the past year; unless you've been in this position, you have NO idea how devastating it is to hear that after all your hard work. Beginning a few months ago, I was finally able to fit into mediums for the first time in years. This woman was at least twice my size...and without my discussing the physical issues that she CAN'T control, I'll just say that she should absolutely mind the self-presentation issues that ARE in her control before judging anyone else. I told her, "Well, that's not very nice, but okay." And continued to mind my business, tried on the pants - of which the mediums fit perfectly - then changed back into my own clothes and came out. Linda was nowhere to be found. Two other associates were now present, and Linda's comment was bothering me so much at this point that I asked for a manager. The two associates were helpful and concerned and got a manager immediately, who was apologetic and assured me she'd address this. I wish I'd of gotten their names, as they really were sweet. As I continued to shop, Linda pops out of nowhere and tried to say she didn't mean to be offensive. LINDA! HOW...HOW - LIKE ON WHAT PLANET - IS THAT NOT OFFENSIVE?! Get out of the dressing room, Linda. You're an inconsiderate person and you should take a REAL good look at yourself before opening your mouth. Hauled my propane tank to get replacement. After waiting in the check out line to pay for it, and for the attendant to get it, the store front manager said they don't have propane today, and I can bet refund at customer service. I do not like this location. Mostly due to traffic, it's near impossible to get out! I attempted an online pickup 2 weeks ago when I found an item for my daughters birthday. I went on a weekday very early afternoon. Thankfully it wasn't as bad, BUT their online pickup process is not like target. At all. You check in then basically wait forever for someone to show up and then slowly work on each person waiting in the order they checked in. The wait area is not very covid safe either! A tiny corner surrounded by lockers - it's ok for 4 people max but once the line gets long it's unnerving. I would stick with target for online pickup in store orders!! read more

This is the smallest Walmart I've ever been in but unfortunately it is the closest to Seattle. It is always busy every time I'm here - does anyone who shops here ever work? The parking lot is tiny and trying to just turn into the shopping center is a nightmare. The traffic lights are not synced and the turn offs from the highway are right by the entrance so you will wait 10 minutes just to cross the intersection. Blah. Never again. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is that their customer service people were friendly-ish. They directed me to the ship to store section in the back of the store by telling me it is in the back by electronics. Having never been back there I had to ask for more specific directions. Luckily the store is not that big..in this instance that was a positive! Picking up a ship to store item was a whole other fiasco. First they couldn't find my order based on my name. Then I remembered that I put the order pick up person as a friend of mine because I thought the order was going to be in during the time when I was out of town. Well not only was it not here while I was out of town for work but it also was not here after I got back from my trip and my housesitter was already gone. So they wouldn't even let me pick up the order under my name and photo identification and credit cards. Finally a manager stepped in and said he would do it this one time. I waited in line for the PS5 at 5AM and 8:30pm 12.11 and was told no consoles came both times , and was told they were supposed to be delivered 12.11. I show when I showed up at 5am I was told check back later , at 8:30pm I was told by the African Associate that No consoles were delivered that day nor would they be so don't wait . , Since they were NOT going to get any that night I came back at 4:30am on 12.12 to wait , I was 1st in line on 12/11 and was 2nd in line 12.12 . we all Waited until 7am when they opened , they opened the doors only , no managers would greet us like they usually do on YouTube and other times/events releases . We all had to wait about 20 minutes and were all told they have 4 units Of Playstation only but they were having a hard time locating them , on the pallet , and in inventory , The manager and an associate talk about their inventory and how it says 0 this morning and then they said that they had 4 but sold them last night. Hmm , So they got 4 then they sold them the night before just after 8:30pm, just after the associate tells me they wouldn't be receiving any consoles that night (12/11) seems like a scam to me so I ask the manager how is that possible ? You received the order after I left and sold it to walk In Customers who didn't wait. The Manager told me they must have checked them in and received them just after I left (so convenient). I then asked him if there was any Traceability System to make sure a walk in customer got it , and he said "NO" . What he should have said was YES call Corporate and have them investigate it if you like , we have cameras everywhere and receipts for accounting . something doesn't smell right. The manager then told me it's a hot ticket item and his son wanted one too. Hmm Well, why the F wasn't his son in line with the rest of us ? Hmm I hope whoever's son got them plantations (4) enjoys them more than the folks who waited in the blistering cold. The management allowed People to stand in line for hours during a pandemic while the Playstaions got unloaded out the door between 8:30 and 12:00pm on 12/11 . The Receipts are timestamped as is the check in time of the consoles , I asked the manger for the info on how long it takes to receive and unload the cargo and actually sell the console and he couldn't tell me. and he wouldn't/couldn't give more details other than they were checked in and sold after I left around 8:30 12.11. The Managers at this Wal-Mart location 164th don't mind if a dozen stand out in the cold during a Pandemic waiting for a PS5 when they know dam well they don't have any. They all know why we are there , have been there several times a day, and calling too. . The manager made us wait 20+ min after open to tell us all there were no systems. To tell us they were checked in and out + sold after 8:30pm 12/11 when I left . I reported them to corporate. Don't wait in line at this Wal Mart ; The Staff and/or Management cannot be trusted with Walmart's customers or PlayStations products . It's a shame , I would've waited from 8:30pm to close on 12/11 for a console but was told the truck was offloaded earlier and they received nothing (11/12.) I was told it's not happening on 12/11 and to try again the next day by the black female associate . And when I tried the next day and waited out in line 12/12 @ 4AM just 3.5 business hours I seen the Wal-Mart Semi Truck Dropping off a load , and somehow this morning the manager says lthey said they were all sold out & were recieved/sold the night of 12.11 just after the associate told me they were NOT and Had Not received any Consoles that day (12/11) , the data trails shows otherwise. Someone is NOT being honest about the PS5's , I'm supposed to trust that between 8:30pm and 12:00am The Truck dropped off the consoles , they were checked in and sold to walk in customers who didn't have to wait in line . Yea sure . Don't Trust the management at this store. The manager wasn't willing to help investigate or resolve the matter nor point me to corporate to resolve the matter . He just wanted me to go away like everyone else and Quit my bitching. . It seems to me the management at this location doesn't care enough about its customers to NOT Let them wait out in the Blistering cold during a pandemic for a system they know they checked in and sold sold they night before on 12/11 between 8:30-12:00am. This review is solely based on my opinions prior to now and experience today. I generally avoid Walmart because it can often feel like a zoo, with no zookeepers. But desperate times call for desperate measure after amazon delivered the bicycle I ordered to the other side of the country and then said they could get me another one shipped to me at a higher price. It's not the first time they've pulled that trick with me so I opted to brave the mean streets of a brick and mortar store ISO the bicycle replacement. I came in early around 8, couldn't find the bike, I noticed a bike that wasn't listed as stock in the store which led me to ask an employee about the potential of the real prize. I was directed to a holding cache of bikes on the patio, where I met the MVP of this review. Teri, a little tiny woman with a big drive for customer satisfaction. Also an employee of 10+ years according to her badge. She helped me looked for the bike in the rain, then went to the back to look for an unassembled one. Granted the bike wasn't found, she still went above and beyond. Spent time investing in my goal of buying a bike for a kids Christmas during a hectic time of year. That kind of customer service is PRICELESS. I didn't get shrugged off by some half-assed attempt to satiate my request. She put in the effort. This is what sets brick and mortar apart from the online world. The type of interaction that would help save most stores from becoming obsolete like Toys R' Us. She didn't stop there, she took my name and number and said she would call me when the key master for the storage tank comes in later this morning to search more through the other stock. We had our eyes set on this Phillips 65in TV advertised on their Lynnwood Walmart website for $199 on clearance. Such a great deal and showed they had 2 in stock. I went to grab one immediately and had a 5 second exchange with a guy in electronics department who said they didn't have it. Didn't even check the back or anything, basically just told me I was wrong and they didn't have it. My husband came in today since the site was still showing in stock, so either somebody is stealing from them or employees just didn't want to give it to us for that great of a deal. We had a long wait time for them to check the back room multiple times and some confusion *somehow* on what we were asking for. Probably half an hour later, still telling us there was none in stock in the back or on the floor, not even the display we were looking right at!! We asked if they could do that price for the 55in same brand but they didn't seem to have that one either. Seems they need to update their stock numbers online, or teach their employees how to count to 2. We left very annoyed and frustrated and definitely will NOT be back. Went to the store in person to get some lump charcoal for grilling. Checked on line and confirmed that it was in stock. Arrived at the store to see everything rearranged and no one could find the product. Decided a week later to order it as in store pick up. Ordered it at 8am and was notified at 6pm that it would not be available. The pick up date was pushed back two times and I was able to pick it up a week after ordering. In store pick up is a little frustrating. It says to check in on the app or online and I could not find a check in option. Showed up to the store, checked in at a kiosk and waiting to be helped for about 5 minutes. Waited in total for about 15 minutes for the item. Overall I'm glad I got the product as Walmart is the only local store to carry it. In store pick up still has a lot of bugs and I would only recommend for items commonly out of stock. read more

Other than a Wal-Mart I used to live by in Fontana , CA, this has to be one of the worst and most dirtiest stores I have been in. The parking is always terrible here as well. The store is filthy, and there is never an employee around. When an employee is found, they either have no knowledge of where things are in the store or they act inconvenienced when asked for help. I blame the management because they seem to be nowhere found either. So please do not shop here unless extremely desperate. I recommend going to the neighborhood Wal-Mart in Lynnwood between 168th and 176th for food and toiletries. If not, drive another 7 miles or so to the Everett Wal-Mart between Airport Rd and 112th St. This store is much much cleaner, and more bearable. read more

When you walk into a store and the first employee you encounter is talking to another employee about 'getting slapped like a b*tch' you know you're in for an adventure. And not a good one. Advice: Don't go to a WalMart past 12am for ANY godly reason. I always walk out of WalMart depressed every damn time - any temporary delight in the ridiculously low prices and the fact that it's 24-7 is quickly doused under the harsh fluorescent lighting, aisles of cheap stock and corpse like employees (it's really sad how hard they work for so little pay.) Then we waited 20 minutes for about 40 people to go through 2 lines with 2 geriatric checkers. They were friendly, just totally way too understaffed, underpaid and overworked to be efficient. My original review for the Lynnwood Walmart still stands but I am updating my review to reflect my experience with Walmart.com where I ordered my file cabinet from. I went to the Walmart website to write a review for the cabinet and saw that the price had been rolled back to $159 from the $189 I paid for it! I was well beyond the 7 day price adjustment window (I bought it 3 weeks ago) but I thought it would be worth sending Customer Service a message just in case. It can't hurt to ask. They gave me a price adjustment for the $30! I am beyond impressed with the site's customer service. I don't think there is anything good I can say about this Walmart or any Walmart. I have been here a handful of times and each time I have not been impressed. To start with, the prices are not some of the best that I have seen. They do have a wide selection of items to choose from but I can go to another store and not have to wait a half hour to have someone help me. My second gripe with this place has to do with the employees. They all seem like they hate their lives and jobs and have the worst attitudes. They are very slow, especially when checking out. There have been a few times where I waited a good twenty minutes just to get to the cashier. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! I don't think I will ever step foot in this place again. Shhh...shhhh....Do you hear that? It's the little piece of me that died once I got home from an unintended and undesired trip to Wal Mart. My companion for the day heard there was a great deal on wood chips for his smoker. There was not. Reading the reviews below, DITTO on... ...labor practices ...cheap products from China ...unreasonably limited parking (don't they KNOW their demographic owns SUVs, mini-vans, 1980s conversion vans and old Buicks or Cadillacs that drivers usually park crooked?) I generally try to avoid shopping within the Sam Walton empire (I skip Sam's Club too for the locally owned Costco chain for my mega-shopping needs), but today I tried to be open minded and give the suburban mecca another chance. I was disappointed on all counts, but did sit and empathize with my fellow shoppers and tried to consider their reasons for being there (very low cost on common items, lots of bilingual packaging, one-stop convenience for those with families in tow, etc.) I also had to check my own privilege and acknowledge that I am fortunate enough to use the option to shop at other places and pay a little more. However, I did sell off a tiny piece of my soul for some cheap tupperware and shower caps, which even y beloved Target and Bartells stopped carrying (seriously, doesn't anyone know you aren't supposed to wash your hair everyday!). I paid bottom dollar, and I feel terrible about it. I think I'll head to a small mom and pop store tomorrow and pay double for some housewares just to keep my karma straight. read more

A lost and confused old lady #1 pushed up her cart and created a fork in the line, next to me, where I was waiting 15 mins too long. As a man of honor I gestured the old lady to go ahead of me, but then old lady #2 behind me, wasn't happy... and she was out for blood. Old lady #2 and #1 exchanged a few words, then a hair pulling fight started, then a boob popped out. A big saggy old prune textured boob. I've had enough of Walmart! Ok, I have to make an update. This place is TRULY USELESS. I was searching for a location to buy the DISCOVER PASS. I thought I would give this place another try because it's right off the freeway. The discover pass website says this is one of the locations that would sell it. However, I was skeptical so I called before stopping by and here is how the conversation went. Me: "Hey, do you guys sell the Washington state discover pass?" Walmart: "I don't know" Me: "Can you please ask someone?" Walmart: "Our manager doesn't come in till 9 am..... can you call back?" Horrible service. They can not back the product they sell. My wife bought a phone card from Walmart (AT&T) prepaid card for international phone calls. Bought this January this year and tried to use it on June of this year but it said this card was Expired. Took the card back to store but customer service rep said we need to talk to AT&T. Great, so we tried the AT&T but they told us to take it back to Walmart where we bought that from. Also, back of the card said take it back to store if any issues. So we went back to store but giving us run around and can not help us. Even called the Customer service Headquarter but can not get resolved. There are two things I take absolute stance on and boycott. One is Walmart. I have been to the Lynnwood location because others do not share my view and I am not a pushy person. It's Wal-Mart. So honestly, I can't write an amazing review for this place. I just can't. Your parking suuucks, your labor practices are awful, and half the items I buy there break before I have a chance to use them. BUT, there are two reasons that my boyfriend and I go to Wal-Mart. The first is that they sell these amazinggg fried and breaded fish fillets. Probably the best frozen fish I've ever had. So delicious. Worst shopping experience I've ever had. Employees were rude as all get out. I'm a laid back guy, but this store pushed me over the edge. I had a return to make and the guy at the counter acted like I was trying to bamboozle the store. He didn't even say hello or greet me. Then I had a site-to-store mishap... The guy there wouldn't give my mom a table she ordered because she recently changed her last name (despite showing him two other pieces of ID). Because a 55 year old woman is going to have a fake ID to get a small dining room set? Please. To top it all off there was only one cashier checking people out despite around 6 or 7 customers with full carts waiting to pay and leave. Overall what should've been an easy trip ended up being stupidly stressful and took hours longer than it should have. Shame on you Lynwood Walmart. read more

Never in my life have I experienced a pharmacy where they shut it down from 1:30-2:00 daily for all the pharmacy staff to take lunch at the same time. ARE THEY CHILDREN WHO NEED TO HOLD HANDS? This was my first and willbe my last use if Wal-Mart pharmacy. read more

This is a review of the Vision Center inside this location of Walmart -- I've never actually shopped outside of the vision center, so I can't really give a great perspective on that. Dr. Kwan was my boyfriend's optometrist when boyfriend wanted color contacts, so when I decided on a whim I wanted a new glasses prescription to help me with my driving [yes, I'm nearly 24 and just now got my learner's permit...] we stopped by this location to see if I could get an appointment. On another whim, I asked if I could get a contacts exam -- the first time I had ever contemplated giving up my four-eyes face. Due to someone else being late, I was able to be examined immediately. Dr. Kwan was really quick, efficient and gave me a quick run down of contact lens care. I've never been great at having eye exams -- in spite of my 13 years of wearing glasses, I've only had maybe four exams total, when I've needed many more. I felt comfortable with Dr. Kwan, as he was a very calm, patient man, which was just what I needed at the prospect of poking myself in the eye [purposely] for the first time. His assistant [I believe his name is Paul] is AMAZING. I was seriously in hysterics when I was trying to get the lenses out and back in to my eyes [Dr. Kwan inserted them the first time], and after nearly an hour of fussing I was ready to give up and try again another day. Paul did his best to keep me calm [I was seriously hyperventilating] and was incredibly patient in spite of the fact I was a nervous wreck. He never rushed or hurried me -- I was very out of it during this entire experience, but from what I remember he even started humming songs to me to calm me down... it sounds totally bizarre, but it helped. Eventually I was able to get the lenses into my eyes and they released me off to experience a glasses-free world. It's been about three months since I got contacts and I've had really great experiences with this vision center for refills and everything else. I can't say I recommend Walmart for much of anything, but the Walmart Vision Center has treated me really well and I would recommend Dr. Kwan and the rest of the staff to anyone who needs a quick and reasonably priced eye exam. read more

This review regards the vision center located inside the store. The staff has been super friendly in the past, however when I went in today to pick up my contacts the woman who checked me out stated she hated her job (jokingly) and seemed very uninterested in engaging with customers. It made the process a tad awkward. Larry however, is typically the man who helps me and is very informative and interactive. Prices are moderate for glasses and contacts, however they have good prices and a huge variety compared to 1800 Contacts. Processes and check-ups are standard and comfortable. I will continue ordering from them and I do recommend them for contacts if you want to be in and out! read more
