This used to be my favorite KBBQ spot. But, as of lately, their meats have been a hit or miss. Their beef belly is usually good though and the banchan is mid. I usually go for their Menu A because I don't care for the other cuts of meats. I would say that staff is really nice and attentive. Oh man, where do I start. This was our first time to this restaurant. We got the Emperor menu at $39.99 per person. We paid $475.33 (gratuity was added to that) we were a party of 9. There was a lot that our party wasn't happy about. We took some family members to try/experience Koran BBQ. They all have never tried it before. So I was excited for them. My husband and I eat Koran bbq all the time. I get different Koran bbq places are all different. But this one was hard to get into. Let's start with the positive things about this restaurant. It's nice and big. We were seated right away. We were a big group (9). And we all had a lot of room. I liked how the table had 3 grills. So we were able to cook lots of meat. And once we started cooking they changed our grills without us asking. Now on to the bad... This restaurant was extremely HOT! They have fans everywhere inside this restaurant. At some point more towards the end of our meal, we finally asked if they could turn on the fan. Because it was so damn hot. I don't know if that a tactic for them to get people not to eat a lot. Make them hot and they won't eat a lot. But my son had to go to the restroom to put water on his face. He was just so hot. Other people were fanning themselves. They did put the fan on when we asked. And it felt a lot better but those fans are also blowing right on your food. It was very off putting. But we were just too hot to care at that point! The service... Once you sit down and they take your drink/food order. Good luck for a waiter or waitress's to come back. They would drop your food off and then take off. Hardly did they come in and check on us. I asked if they had different dipping sauce because all they gave us was salt pepper and some kind of soy sauces. I had asked if they had a hot sauce or anything else and she said she would bring it out. It never came and we were already done eating by then. We felt we had to order lots of meats every time they came to our table because they hardly came to our table. Our water pitchers were empty. Not once did they fill it up. And to be quite honest. Some of the meat options needed to be more seasoned or maybe be marinated a little longer. Some options of meat were better than others. And maybe add more dipping sauces? To add flavor to some of your meats? For the amount we paid, they need to come up with a better rotation system. Because coming back to our table and us having to give them a long list of things we needed like napkins, side items, sauce is just ridiculous. Other Koran bbq places have a button to push for someone to come to your table. I've been to a Koran bbq place that has a iPad at each table to place more orders. I feel really bad this Koran bbq place was my family's first experience. Had I know it was going to be like this, I would've waited and picked some other place. I wouldn't recommend this place. I love wang Cho. I know some people have negative experiences sometimes, but it's never happened to me. The only thing that ever slacks, is the waiters. They tend to be slow, but I usually just call anyone with a burgundy shirt over. One told me that once. I had asked, "who is my waiter?" She responded, "call anyone with a burgundy shirt, we are all here to help." That's why I usually don't have to wait much before I can place an order for more meat. The flavor is great, I've been to many kbbq places and this place does not fall short. The ambiance is chill, nothing crazy. Great for casual conversations. Highly recommend this place, paid roughly 100 dollars for 3 people. Water for the drink. Although they do have an extensive drink selection, I am there for the kbbq. read more

I typically go to another Korean barbecue place in Chino and other types of green barbecue. I don't typically enjoy getting anything else other than brisket. I really did enjoy the brisket here as there was no fat in it and I felt like I was able to eat 4 to 5 rounds of meat. The only thing I say is that this place does get really packed and the spacing between table tables is pretty close. Due to this there is also very loud music and unfortunately, the hostess or the possible manager often complicate himself and complicate deceiving. For reference I visit wang Cho about once a week for the past few months it was great however this visit was different I decided to take my cousin tonight for his birthday and graduation we were both very excited the portions seemed significantly smaller than what we're used to the service was horrific and I'd figure for being empty the server would be on top of things but that wasn't the case I had to ask for more sauce 5 times before I finally got it as well as rice paper and it sucked because I usually have an amazing experience here and that's why I love coming here but Juan ruined my experience seeing him roll his eyes when I'd ask for things multiple times or hearing him sigh made me feel like the burden when I'm spending the $70 for two people when the economy is already hard enough to survive he singlehandedly made this probably my last visit I stopped going to gens for this reason as well read more

Our server, Bree was great! Super friendly and helpful when it came to deciding what to order. Music wasn't too loud either so we were able to have a conversation comfortably. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area again. Menus are online now and pricing has changed from my last review but that's a given. They offer different side dishes now but it's still good. One of my other go to kbbq spots! I've been coming here for years so I included a few photos from different visits. We always really enjoy their beef belly & brisket! I always ask for a side of nacho cheese to dip the meat into (my fav thing about coming here). I really like their house noodle soup too! Also love their little macaroon desserts, they have different flavors to choose from. My favorite one to get sometimes is their green tea. I'm not sure if they still have it but I had ordered a drink flight here one time I went (the colorful drinks photo). It was a good way to try their different alcoholic beverages. I remember really liking the lychee one! They can get pretty busy on the weekends but you get seated faster if you're open to sitting outside. We went yesterday & it was really cold but they have heaters so it helps! Typically during the week though you'll have an easier time finding a seat inside. The food is delicious and authentic, with perfectly seasoned meats and tasty side dishes. I love their garlic pork belly, Bulgolgi beef, cali steak, and sausage. He wasn't very engaged or friendly; his energy felt very dry. When he came by to check on our food or bring straws, he didn't make eye contact and just handed them over while walking away. Solid place for kbbq! They had all our group of seven's favorites. Their large intestine was bomb, as was the beef belly and beef tongue. Radish wraps and kimchi were on point.
