I haven't been back in awhile but my friends and I decided on KBBQ today. Just wanted to say exceptional service! Food came out quickly, grills changed without asking and free refills. Our server, Bree was great! Super friendly and helpful when it came to deciding what to order. Music wasn't too loud either so we were able to have a conversation comfortably. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area again. Menus are online now and pricing has changed from my last review but that's a given. They offer different side dishes now but it's still good. I personally loved the cucumbers and radish. Overall a good spot for Riverside! read more

Wang Cho Korean BBQ is fantastic! Even tho the place was packed, we were able to be seated in a timely manner. Inside there is plenty of seating as well as on the outside. The food is delicious and authentic, with perfectly seasoned meats and tasty side dishes. I love their garlic pork belly, Bulgolgi beef, cali steak, and sausage. They have plenty of other yummy meat choices as well. The service is excellent. staff are friendly and attentive. The ambiance is cozy and modern, making for a great dining experience. One of my other go to kbbq spots! I've been coming here for years so I included a few photos from different visits. We always really enjoy their beef belly & brisket! I always ask for a side of nacho cheese to dip the meat into (my fav thing about coming here). I really like their house noodle soup too! Also love their little macaroon desserts, they have different flavors to choose from. My favorite one to get sometimes is their green tea. I'm not sure if they still have it but I had ordered a drink flight here one time I went (the colorful drinks photo). It was a good way to try their different alcoholic beverages. I remember really liking the lychee one! They can get pretty busy on the weekends but you get seated faster if you're open to sitting outside. We went yesterday & it was really cold but they have heaters so it helps! Typically during the week though you'll have an easier time finding a seat inside. Good food, okay service We had a great time overall the food was delicious, everything came out fresh, and the atmosphere was really nice. The only downside was our server. He wasn't very engaged or friendly; his energy felt very dry. When he came by to check on our food or bring straws, he didn't make eye contact and just handed them over while walking away. It wasn't terrible service, but it did make the experience feel a little impersonal. Other than that, everything else went well -- we'd come back again, hopefully with a more attentive server next time. read more

Solid place for kbbq! They had all our group of seven's favorites. Their large intestine was bomb, as was the beef belly and beef tongue. Radish wraps and kimchi were on point. Japchae was decent, fish cakes were good, and their basil pork belly was soo good too. Love that they have rice paper wraps, though they did run out mid-meal for us which was tragic. The restaurant was busy and a little chaotic, but the servers did a pretty decent job. Felt bad for our original server because we were tearing through the banchans and we kept asking him for more. Kept asking for multiple plates at a time and they'd bring just one but some other folks that were helping us out caught on to our eating habits pretty quickly. All in all, pretty yummy and loved the opportunity to try new meats. I will warn that the bathroom hated to see me coming after this meal, though. Located at the popular Riverside Plaza, Wang Cho KBBQ offers ample parking and easy access. Check-in is handled via a tablet at the entrance, and the place can get crowded, so it's wise to plan accordingly. Wang Cho offers an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) experience, with separate lunch and dinner menus. For dinner, there are three pricing levels--Prince, King, and Emperor--with reasonable prices given the offerings. Unfortunately, like many places post-pandemic, Wang Cho seems to have experienced a decline in quality. The variety of banchan (side dishes) has decreased, the salad quality is noticeably lacking compared to before, and it's now offered only upon request. Previously, there was a full bar with an extensive selection of liquors, but now it's mostly limited to beer, wine, sake, soju, and pre-blended beverages. Having been regulars here for over 10 years, we typically choose the King level, which includes some premium beef options. The marinated short rib is a standout--soft, flavorful, and delicious, and the thinly sliced beef tongue is always a treat with its rich flavor and satisfying texture. On this occasion, we had an international guest and decided to splurge for the Emperor level, hoping for an elevated experience. Sadly, it was a disappointment. The Angus beef rib and steak were both extremely chewy, even after trying different grilling techniques. The jumbo scallops were small, smelled fishy, and were clearly frozen, which detracted from the meal. Despite the price difference between the King and Emperor levels not being significant, the lack of improvement in meat quality is still disheartening. Moving forward, we'll likely stick to the King or even Prince level. Some of the tastiest options, like the spicy red pork belly, marinated large intestine, and Cali steak, are available at the base level, which provides better value without sacrificing taste. I wish I could give a higher rating, as I've loved coming here over the years and want to continue supporting this family-run business. However, the focus seems to have shifted toward quantity over quality, and while AYCE is appealing for some, I'm more interested in the latter. Wang Cho has the potential to be great again, but for now, the decline in quality makes it difficult to fully recommend at the higher pricing tiers. read more

The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and has a good atmosphere, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The food was average, and the side dishes were incredibly tiny compared to any other Korean BBQ place I've been to. On top of that, we overpaid because we were charged full price for both of our kids, even though I later found out my 7-year-old should have received the half-off child pricing. Our actual server, who I believe was named Fernando, was really rude and inattentive. He completely dismissed us and didn't even bring napkins or utensils--we had to flag someone down to request them. Thankfully, the other servers who stepped in to help us were great and got us what we needed, but due to the poor initial service and ok food, I would not go back or recommend this place. read more

Weekday night for 3, we were sat immediately inside. There are booth seats which have grills with vents around them, then you have the grills that are normal as shown in the picture. Hope you're lucky enough for the vented grill, or ask for one... these grills get pretty smokey, if not your own grill..the one next to you is, and ventilation over these are not that good. Service was okay, I think our waiter was spread a bit thin. It was a pretty full house and there were multiple time wrong orders were brought to our table. The food itself was delicious! We were limited to 4 orders of meat at a time, which resulted in us having to order often. maybe if they provided larger portions per order, it wouldn't be such an issue. Overall, the better Korean BBQ in the Riverside/Corona area in my opinion. If you have the craving it's worth it, just don't expect large portions and the best service. read more

I typically go to another Korean barbecue place in Chino and other types of green barbecue. I don't typically enjoy getting anything else other than brisket. I really did enjoy the brisket here as there was no fat in it and I felt like I was able to eat 4 to 5 rounds of meat. The only thing I say is that this place does get really packed and the spacing between table tables is pretty close. Due to this there is also very loud music and unfortunately, the hostess or the possible manager often complicate himself and complicate deceiving. I will say this has good food, but the service is a bit iffy. read more

Wonderful experience! The wait was over 30 minutes, but worth it. 5 adults, one toddler. $28 for all you can eat was well worth it. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. Cooking trays were changed out regularly, customer service was phenomenal, restaurant was tidy and nicely decorated. Spicy bulgogi spicy pork spicy pork belly was so good! The service was great and so was the food. This is the only KBBQ spot I go to with my family and it's always a great time. Unfortunately I don't think anyone cleaned the booths because my white pants were brown stained with oil when I got up. Please clean the booths because my pants are now completely ruined and I had to go buy a new pair of pants. read more

Overall, a very decent KBBQ experience. My partner and I showed up at a good time as we were seated immediately. The staff helping us were very quick, kind, and helpful. Our drinks came out very promptly and we didn't have any difficulty with asking for a grill change or requesting more sides. The options are limited for the Prince menu for the price, but the beef options were great. You can't go wrong with bulgogi or anything marinated. The fire cheese chicken was okay - the marinade overpowered the cheese dip flavor. If you want a new pork flavor, try the Wine Pork Belly. Restaurant was clean. Good for any occasion. read more
