Where to start. I don't submit restaurant reviews very often. This my second time getting food from this restaurant. The first time was unremarkable so I thought I'd give it a second chance. This time I ordered some basics. Sweet and Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice, and House Chow Mein. Again, all three were, at best, unremarkable. The Sweet and Sour Pork was flavorless; had very little sauce; very sparse on vegetables; and the pork was dipped in a batter rather than the usual egg white and corn starch. The batter was so thick, it was gummy on the inside and soggy on the outside. Probably undercooked. The Chow Mein and Rice dishes were also devoid of flavor. I don't know where this chef learned to cook but I'd get my money back. For $50, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, good restaurant choices, particularly for Chinese food, are extremely limited here in Reno and this one squarely lands in my "NO" pile. I 10/10 recommend Wang's Table. The dinner plate portion is extremely generous it includes 1 egg roll 1 paper wrapped chicken 1 soup your choice of egg drop or hot n sour. Definitely don't forget the free upgrade to bbq pork fried rice with your meal. We tried the General Chicken and curry beef. Food is a bit expensive for what it is, but I recommend getting the dinner special. I walked in and ordered and it only took about 15 minutes to get my food. Mediocre at best. 2.5 stars. Chinese fast food made by people who don't really care. Everything tasted canned, boxed, reheated or over processed. Salt and pepper pork ribs reminded me of KFC. Also had combo fried rice, generals chicken (no spice at all), orange chicken for the kids, pot stickers...nothing I would recommend but fed a hungry crew. read more

Staff was very nice, and while we didn't get to eat in because they are are only doing to-go during these times, I'm sure they would have been pleasant to deal with had we ate there. Unfortunately we were really disappointed after reading the positive reviews. This is your run of the mill Chinese fast food. Very bland and high sugar content glazes with very little spices added. I was really hoping for more since we have had couple other higher quality Chinese restaurants in town, especially since the prices are on the same level as those other restaurants. I'll always give a place another shot, and I'll try a couple different menu items next time. But, as of now I can't recommend this to anyone with the better options available. read more

Big fan! Have had this twice now. The hot and sour soup is hot hot but very good and I've ordered it both times. I like that you can get an individual meal of sorts at both lunch and dinner, the lemon chicken and assorted sides were really good! The egg rolls were cold, overcooked and mush on in side, the fried wontons were cold, the sweet and sour pork was very obviously cooked in old oil. The lemon chicken was edible, but also cold. The only hot item which was decent was the chicken chow mien. I ordered take out, and was shocked to see a $6 charge for grub hub. I was their within 15 minutes to pickup and see no reason for my food to have been cold, especially when I was told 30-40 minutes. Definitely not worth $70, to many choices in Reno..... read more

This place looks a bit like nothing special from the store front but is seriously amazing. Delicious food with no compromise on quality or quantity. We got the dinner special for $13, which included a sesame seed ball, egg roll, foil wrapped chicken, choice of soup, pork fried rice, and my entree of sesame chicken. Would not recommend. This was our first time there and will not return. Nothing was fresh. The Fried Prawn appetizers were just frozen breaded shrimp and not even warm. The Spicy Green Beans were obviously frozen green beans and not spicy at all. The shrimp in the House Chow Mein was originally frozen, very old, and not edible. All of the seafood (except the rotten shrimp) in the Seafood Chow Fun was fake/processed. The Mongolian Beef was a $14+ order of mainly sprouts, onion, and a small amount of old meat. Tried Wang's Table tonight, so glad we did. We had Generals Chicken, Pork Chow Mein, and Mu Shu Pork, with extra pancakes, all were wonderful. Appetizers were all good that were included along with Egg Flower soup which might have been the best I have ever tried. Fried rice was also included with the Generals Chicken and Chow Mein. Just about $ 40.00 before tax and tip, and that fed four with left overs. Since its just take out there is plenty of parking and if your Mid Town you can walk there. Hostess was friendly and very cute. Got to stop there! read more
