Before starting, I spoke directly with the owner, Ms. Mason, who assured me everything would be handled professionally and delivered in white bags or clean, see-through bags. That is NOT what happened. When I met the delivery driver and casually mentioned that I am Jewish, his entire demeanor changed. The attitude was immediate, uncomfortable, and unmistakable. I have never experienced antisemitism in San Diego before this. Then came the delivery. My laundry arrived: * DIRTY * Stuffed into BLACK TRASH BAGS * 4 items MISSING * 1 shirt COMPLETELY DESTROYED Let me be very clear: This was not a mistake. This was negligence at best and discriminatory behavior at worst. I trusted this company with clothing that represents my livelihood. What I received instead was disrespect, property damage, and a situation that felt targeted and degrading. This business failed on every level: * Hygiene * Professionalism * Accountability * Basic human decency If you value your belongings, your time, or your dignity -- STAY AWAY. I am urging anyone who has had similar experiences with lost items, damaged clothing, or discriminatory treatment from this business to come forward. She brought me back to the office to create a profile for me, she was very thorough with the process and made it easy , thank you Ms. Nayeli for the warm welcome It took roughly around 2.5 hours for me to get my pick up text , and i was then greeted by a Ms. Shiela or Sheena , my apologies it was a bit busy so i could not hear your name. A credit/debit card is required for all machines. The smallest washer cost $4.50, and has a 22 minute cycle. The dryers start at 75¢ for 10 minutes, you can increase the time--but make sure you do it before swiping your card. They offer pick up and delivery to hotels on the island. They also offer drop off service. They will even turn over your laundry (put it in a dryer for you) for a fee.

Maybe 3 dedicated to the place and the 5ish others seem to be dedicated to the other businesses in the small little plaza. So getting there early is key. If you're out of luck then there's a neighborhood down the road or across a busy street and you'll need to play frogger to get there. There is move than 100 machines in the place. 80 or so are washers and there are over 20 dryers. There are two sides. The left side when you enter is primarily used by staff for fluff and folds and there are extras for general use. The right side is for the public. It opens at 5am and last wash I believe is 830pm so it has great hours. It's open 7 days a week. It was generally clean too. The hours is the reason why I give it a four stars.

I used to wash my clothes sometimes twice and rewash them and soak them here. I hadn't been here for a year and I recently came back and they have BRAND NEW WASHERS. These washers wash incredibly good. I no longer have to use the top washer. I use the front loading washer now. It has a setting where it pre-washes the clothes rinses them and then I add detergent and it washes it a second time for me. It even has a setting where it'll wash your clothes essentially three times and rinse it twice. It has a setting where it can wash your clothes for almost 40 minutes. My clothes smells so fresh when they come out I use Purcell detergent and I started using borax the laundry booster. And a new rinse additive. I only pay a dollar more to double and triple wash my clothes sometimes two dollars more depending but it's very affordable. You don't have to worry about mold in the washer from an old washer or eating your coins and having to try to figure out how to get your money back. My clothes come out smelling fresh like the detergent I use as opposed to stale like they need to be re-washed again. It's amazing! I highly recommend.

But most importantly, why is it called a "laundromat" instead of "laundrymat" anyway??? Dave runs a smooth ship, as this is one of the nicest and cleanest laundromats I have ever been to. They have your standard regular sized washers, but they also have giant 6 and 8 load machines that will have all of your blankets and comforters cleaned in a jiffy. So fresh and so clean clean. I was able to wash a large comforter, too big for a standard washer, along with another very large blanket and 3 standard "back of the couch" sized blankets in one of the 6 load washers for $9.25. Did I mention that they take cards? Although they do have a quarters machine (accepts $1s, $5s, and $10s), both the washers and dryers are one credit card swipe away from spinning their hearts out. It may not sound like much, but who wants to be stuck depositing 37 quarters to get that tumbler in motion. The dryers are seemingly new, very large, and quite fast. I was able to get all 5 items dryed in about 35 minutes while using two separate dryers. The dryers are run in short time increments, so it's no longer necessary to purchase a full 45 minute run when you only need a quick 20 minute dry. If you're pressed for time, take advantage of the fluff and fold laundry service that is $2lb for same day or $1.85lb for next day service. Conveniently, they also have laundry detergent for sale in case you forget your own. Dave, the owner, was really helpful with assisting me in determining the appropriately sized washer for my load, which was greatly appreciated. Not only did his doing so save me time, but it also saved me some cash. Thanks again Dave!

This is not your Mom & Pop Laundro-mat of yesteryear! Wash N Go Laundry is a bright, clean, polished laundry facility. Friendly, helpful attendants are always busy keeping things clean and tidy. A wide variety of washer and dryer sizes are a available and most machines accept a debit card, of course a coin changer is available as well. Wifi available to occupy the time between cycles. Actually a pleasant experience if you have to take the laundry out! read more

Its great that Wash N Go Laundry has this new location. This area REALLY needed a laundromat. It is awesome that its all high tech and I don't even have to go get quarters anymore! I love how clean and friendly the staff is and the BEST part is the Free Wifi makes laundry day more fun. I do laundry there every Sunday morning. Every time I go there its very clean and orderly, the TV always on the music is great. The machines are fantastic and clothes come out very clean. The laundry Specialist are very nice and helpful. And the people are so nice and polite. It's not just a chore, its an experience, I don't mind at all doing laundry now. read more

This has been our go to laundromat for several years now…read more Clean, always has a friendly attendant, and units are in good operational order...it's clear the owners and staff keep up with daily and routine maintenance. Lint traps are cleaned regularly (which means dryers work efficiently), they clean out the washer soap dispensers and wipe down the units, and allow the washer basins to dry out at the end of the day (so no mildew washers.) Prices have gone up compared to when we first discovered this place, but that's not a surprise nowadays...what is nice is that it doesn't feel like they're price-gpuging compared to some other laundromats. They have 38 dryers; four of them were out of service as of mid-Jan 2025. They technically have five different sizes of washers: * Two $8.00 "Magnum Load" washers = 8 baskets * Seven $6.00 "Mega/Maxi Load Express" washers = 4 baskets * Six $5.25 "Maxi Load" washers (these don't have any basket equivalency symbols on them) * Fourteen $4.25 "Triple Load" washers = three baskets * Three $3.50 smaller front loaders, which if I had to guess are "two baskets" in volume (and take about 10min longer than the other units) * There are six top-loaders ("single load" maybe?) but they're not in operation anymore. They have a wash-n-fold service, but I've never used it. I do witness others use it though, and the customers seem pleased enough. They appear to bag and tag loads/machines throughout the process to keep things from getting mixed up. Main downside is the minimal parking lot. They have half a dozen spaces in front , and then a shared lot on the side which is technically open to laundry customers on the weekends. Street parking is available but really limited as well. As long as you schedule your laundry sessions outside of busy periods (late morning weekends through afternoons), you should have a minimal/non-existent wait for machines

Normally the staff is very pleasant. I haven't come here and the machines are broken down or out of service. And if for some reason they are, they are labeled. And it's clear that they're not in working order. Also I would say the prices are very reasonable. There's definitely a good amount of parking and there's street parking close by so that's a benefit if the parking lot is ever packed. I would say most days the laundry mat is pretty mellow. Gets busy but I havent had much trouble where I havent been able to wash my clothes. Overall this is my go to spot to wash.

They have machines of different sizes so it would be easy to wash bulky items like comforters here (they specify no rugs on some machines though -- bath mats are fine, and not sure if that includes all machines since many don't have that sign on them). One minor discomfort to me is how little seating there is to wait for your laundry. There are two rows of stools (one in the sun for much of the day) but you feel sort of in people's way there because it's crowded. There are two small picnic tables outside. Just not comfy to wait for an hour. Another minor inconvenience is that many of the machines and the laundry card dispenser itself are very finicky about reading your cards and their prompts are sometimes unclear. You have to slide a bunch to make it happen but you eventually get there. You do need to buy and load a laundry card from them to use the machines; they don't take coins or your credit card or anything. The laundry card dispenser and refill machine does take credit, debit, and ostensibly cash though we never tried cash. All in all, not my favorite place to spend an afternoon but it gets the job done!

To make matters worse, eight dryers and an additional five washers are reserved for attendants only, leaving customers with extremely limited access to machines. While one gentleman on staff consistently provides good customer service, the overall experience has declined. There used to be a red-haired woman who was very attentive and kind--her customer service was excellent--but I'm not sure if she still works here. I won't comment on the other employees. What was especially upsetting today was being forced to unload all my laundry from the washers because no manager was available to authorize employees to change a large bill so I could reload my card. This lack of flexibility caused a major inconvenience and wasted my time. On top of that, customers are charged $2 just to obtain a laundry card, meaning you're paying before you even begin using the service. The rewards program has also been reduced, from a $5 bonus for every $20 spent to $3. While I understand inflation affects everyone, it's hard to justify when machines are frequently out of order or occupied by staff. After this experience, I drove a few miles to North Park and found a slightly cheaper, coin-operated laundromat on 38th Street. I plan to take my business there moving forward, as this location does not appear to be improving. This review is long overdue, and today was the final straw. However, what I referenced in my review is the business beginning to charge customers before services are used--specifically the new $2 charge for each laundry card, which is a recent change. I have been a loyal customer for about five years, washing here biweekly and spending approximately $75-$80 per visit. This card fee was not in place previously. Additionally, the $5 promotion is not new. I have consistently received the $5 bonus since I began washing here in 2020, so this is not a recent offering as implied. While I intentionally avoided naming individuals in my original review, I feel it's important to address customer service concerns. One particular staff member, Charmaine, has repeatedly displayed a negative and impatient attitude, not only toward customers, but also toward children. Families with small children should be aware that she appears easily annoyed and quick to complain, often watching children closely rather than offering understanding or assistance. While my own children are older, I have observed this behavior many times with other families. Regarding the situation mentioned, the employee did not attempt to call you. He had already called you minutes earlier about a different matter and was visibly frustrated. I was in the process of unloading six machines, so I'm unclear how it was assumed I was approached about it. I understand this is not a bank, but the tone and content of the response reflect poorly on customer service standards. Unfortunately, this experience represents a noticeable decline in what was once my go-to laundromat. I wish the business the best, but I hope customer service concerns are taken seriously moving forward.
