First time here for a late lunch and the vibe, service and food was good! It was crowded but we only waited 5 minutes for a table. We ate outdoors and it was shaded. They also have large TV screens for sports day, etc. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad - the sauce and fried wontons was so flavorful! I also ordered the orange juice and it was refreshing. My friend ordered the chicken & waffles, and she liked it. The waffles were also croissants style. It's a good spot for brunch/game days, etc. I would come back here again. Decided to randomly go here for a late lunch today and it was wonderful! Not too busy around 3pm which was great. It was a very chill vibe during the time we went. I got the philly cheesesteak and my boyfriend got the mushroom swiss burger. Both were sooo good but I preferred the burger over the cheesesteak. The fries were a nice compliment to the meal. Our server was awesome and he even recommended us to try the house ranch which is BOMB by the way.... you can't skip out on the ranch lol. The only thing that holds it back from 5 stars is the fact we were given dirty plates at first and that my bf found a small hair in his food, but we aren't too extremely critical about it because the positives outweighed the negatives in this case. We're local to Campbell and have visited Water Tower several times, always enjoying the food. This review is specifically for a graduation event we hosted in their upstairs lounge. I arrived an hour early to decorate and was greeted by Nick, one of the owners, along with a young boy. He was the sweetest little guy and even helped me with some decorations! Our bartender, Alyssa, was PHENOMENAL and kept up with our group's orders effortlessly. Sarah, our server, was equally AWESOME! The food came out right on schedule, and everything was delicious. I was especially happy to bring home the leftover jambalaya! Our event was coordinated by Melissa, who patiently kept up with my 200 questions leading up to the event and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The interior is very cute here. I especially liked the high ceiling. The waitress was warm and welcoming which set a nice tone for the meal. I was not a big fan of the smash burger though. It felt heavy and was a bit messy to eat. I checked Yelp photos before ordering and thought it would come with lettuce and tomato but it does not. I asked for them and the waitress brought them right away. Without them, the burger is simply two large smashed patties with cheese and buns. I made a reservation for Saturday evening and it's super easy to make a reservation on Yelp. Right when I got in, I checked in with the host and got seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and came to check in with us pretty frequently to see if we needed anything and I appreciate the good service. We got seated inside this time and there were a lot of tv screens, which were a bit distracting while my friends and I were trying to converse and the music is slightly too loud so we had to talk over the music. We ordered our usual: tower fries and chicken wraps. My friend usually gets the chicken wraps since they're gluten free and she doesn't mind them because they're good. I really like the tower fries and shared with a friend who can only have halal meat, so we asked for the steak on the side. Came on a Sunday with my sister in law and we found parking right away! I was surprised because it is in downtown Campbell. We also got sat down right away. We wanted to sit closer to watch the football game, so we had to wait a bit as there were reserved tables. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star is because we did wait a bit to get our order taken and our finished tab as well (mind you, there was like hardly anyone sitting down where we were and there were like 4 servers by the bar talking to each other). On a recent trip back to the Bay Area our family grabbed lunch here. We liked it so much we went back and had dinner there. My wife had been here with friends where we lived and raved about it but it was the first time for the girls (10 and 12) and I. There is limited parking in front of the restaurant but there are a number of parking structures within a short walk. The inside is very spacious and has additional seating upstairs on the 2nd level. On the lunch trip the girls had their usual chicken fingers and fries, my wife had the Beets and Greens salad and I had the Loco Moco. The girls, who are chicken finger and fries connoisseur, said these were the best that they have had. My wife enjoyed the salad and my Loco Moco was just ok (not as good as the Loco Moco I had on our last trip to Hawaii). When we went for dinner the standouts were the Mexican Street Corn and the Garlic Noodles (with shrimp). The staff took great care of us and service was great. We went here for Mother's Day. First impressions were positive - the atmosphere on their deck was great. Appetizers were good as well - we ordered the street corn and the pretzel sticks, and I'd recommend both. However the rest of our meal was just okay - not bad, but nothing to write home about. What really tarnished the evening was the service, though. Appetizers arrived without forks or napkins, the server said they'd bring some right over, and then no one came. Took several more minutes to flag someone down. It then took a looong time between appetizers and main courses, even though it was still early and not all that busy. After we finished our meal, it again took a long time for our plates to be cleared - it wasn't until the desserts finally arrived that they realized everything was still on our table, and they then scrambled with several people to quickly clear everything away. This was my first time trying Water Tower Kitchen and it was amazing! The service was great and the server gave us helpful suggestions when deciding between different menu items and drinks. The drinks we got were both pretty and yummy! Cute that the watermelon marg came with a watermelon slice. I was pleasantly surprised that there were a lot of vegetarian options on the menu. Has what has been described as a "semi-industrial" atmosphere. No, it's just like the floor of a steel mill. Went there to talk with my daughter. Couldn't hear her across the table. No question that prolonged exposure (employees) will bring harm to hearing later on. Will not go back. But many young people will. For some reason they like that factory atmosphere. What a great Menu and a beautiful day in Downtown Campbell. The entry was a lil difficult to find if you haven't been here before. Our waitress was delightful during this busy mid morning early afternoon shift. We odered 2 cocktails and chips and salsa to start. But the food comparatively to what the greater San Jose area has to offer was lacking. Two had a Loco moco supposedly the patty was cooked to order, but both complained, It was a little tough and overcooked. I was told the fried rice was exceptional so I got that. The Gilroy Garlic Shrimp is so delicious. But it has the garlic bite! Perfect. They have a great selection of beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. They also are a community partner with proceeds from their beer of the month benefiting local youth programs. How great Is that! Nice patio and tvs inside and out for all your sports needs! We got the Mac and cheese and chicken tenders and thought they were both pretty good. We also got a couple of cocktails. The espresso martinis were awful though, so we had to send them back. While our server was nice and attentive, he customer serviced us an excessive amount of times. We realized it was probably due to an event they needed to kick us out of the patio for and the way in which that was handled (not by our server) was very rude. The guy clapped his hands and was like "okay ladies we either need to move you to a different spot or xyz" but the way in which he clapped his hands and handled us said "you gotta leave". We did leave because we were finished but we left feeling bothered by how that was handled. Visited on a Saturday afternoon for brunch and was surprised it was not busy at all! My party of 4 and I were sat right away. There was an event going on nearby resulting in the parking lot being full capacity, so I would suggest parking across the street or find street parking if this is the case for your visit as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant gave a very industrial feel, with a cute loft that provided more seating + a bar that opens for busier days. The food came out really fast and everything was delicious and fresh, especially the shrimp ceviche! The açaí bowl was refreshing, croissant waffle was soft and provided the perfect amount of sweetness, and the tower fries were super flavorful. My party and I also ordered a pitcher of the Lily's Rose Punch and that gave us a drink and a half for all four of us which was perfect. We did find a piece of plastic in our acai bowl but honestly didn't make too much of a fuss about it.. we just brought it to our servers attention for the sake of other customers potentially receiving the same piece of plastic in their acai bowls and they were nice enough to take it off our bill. Regardless of that, I will still be coming back because the food, service, and overall vibe of the place was great. Definitely a perfect spot to catch up w friends or family. Our first time at Water Tower Kitchen, despite passing it many times during visits to Downtown Campbell. We were seated right away, with our indoor seating request honored from the reservation. It was tough to decide what to order due to the sheer amount of tempting options, but we settled on the boneless wings as a starter. One companion in my group had the watermelon margarita, which they enjoyed very much. My other companion ordered a mocktail off the menu, but the bar had run out. Our server, Rafa, immediately took care of the situation, as they were out of his first choice, and he had the bartender whip up an incredible custom mocktail. (We don't take pictures of food, but this drink was so good and beautifully presented that it warranted an exception to the rule.) Right away, I knew Rafa was looking out for us and that we were in good hands. The boneless wings came out quickly and were enjoyed by all. The brining really makes a big difference in tenderness, and they were juicy and crunchy, with the sauce at the perfect spicy level. Our entrees came out next. My companion had the WTK fried rice and was delighted with the balance of flavors and presentation. My other companion had the regular fried chicken sandwich and enjoyed it thoroughly. he also commented on how crispy the home style fries were. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was perfect. The pineapple coleslaw really elevated the flavor profile and added a nice balance from the spiciness of the sauce. We shared a molten chocolate cake for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Hats off to the team, and especially Rafa for his good-natured humor and attentive service. The meal was so good that one of my companions exclaimed, "This is my new favorite restaurant, and I'd like to have my next birthday celebration here." It was January 3rd, 2026. Huge game 49ers vs. Seahawks...almost went to Le Banc in Los Altos (great spot!), but Jason has always liked Water Tower, good food, great staff. We got there and all the tables downstairs were reserved, but we were told by staff, after a private party ended upstairs, just before game time, we could sit up there, eat, drink, watch the game. We were about an hour early and decided to go for a swirl and a snack at Aquís. We made our way back, about 15 minutes before the private party ended. We got in line, about 12 people in front of us, and people out the door behind us. The party ended, we headed upstairs, the bar was already full, obviously leftovers from the private party, but that's ok, we had our choice of almost any table. We found our spot and watched the upstairs fill up. As we sat at our table we were approached by an employee, I recognized him from previous visits, this was one of my favorite spots since moving to Campbell. I believe he was some sort of a supervisor, maybe the manager??? He asked if we had a reservation, and we said, "no." We started to explain that we were told by staff that when the party ended the upstairs tables would be open. We tried to explain the fact that we, and others, stood in line and waited based on this understanding. He would not listen, and said if we don't have a reservation we had to leave. He was very rude, and treated us like we were trying to sneak in. My friend and I are very easy going people, and we understood there was a miscommunication, but to be treated as poorly as we were was very disappointing. It is a shame that someone that treats people like this can be in a management position at a place like this, the rest of the staff has always been great! We walked around Campbell a bit, trying to find somewhere to watch the game. We ran into another group that had the same experience at Water Tower. One guy said, "He didn't have to be such a d*** about it." Nailed it! Ended up at Distrito Federal. Distrito had the game on one tv, and tried their hardest to get it on a second tv. The staff at Distrito wouldn't give up trying to make it better for us, we had to tell them repeatedly not to worry about it. Distrito gets it, great food, great people, great service! To be fair I've never had an issue at Water Tower until this day. It was just this one guy, not that they couldn't accommodate us, not that there was a miscommunication, but how poorly he treated us. I came on a Saturday afternoon and luckily there was no wait. We were immediately seated in the outdoor patio. There were a lot of tables inside the pack, I can definitely see this place getting packed on a busy night. To start I ordered a Lily Rose Punch cocktail which was so delicious, it tasted like juice. I got the WTK fried rice and the buffalo cauliflower. The portions were great sharing sizes. The cauliflower had a nice breading and strong buffalo taste. I really enjoyed it as an appetizer. The fried rice was very flavorful and had some bacon bits in it. I thought it was delicious and hearty. The weather was nice and the outdoor patio was great. My husband and I were staying in Campbell for the weekend and decided to meet up with our friends and their family for brunch. Our friends had heard about Water Tower Kitchen and we decided to to meet there. We were able to park conveniently in the lot directly in front of the restaurant. We didn't have reservations, but were seated immediately on the patio. The patio was comfortable, with fun music playing and several heaters to keep us warm on a January day. The patio was family and dog friendly. I had looked at the menu online before we had decided on the restaurant, but hadn't realized that we were there for the brunch only menu. When I saw the menu online, there salad options that were not included in the brunch menu. I felt that the menu we had to choose from was pretty limited. Service wasn't the best, but everyone who worked there was really friendly. Our server filled the waters, but was one glass short and didn't seem to notice that he had missed a member of our party. Later when he came to take the orders, he forgot to take the order from that same person. It took a little time, but we were able to remedy the situation. As I was unable to order the menu item that I had seen online, I chose the avocado toast, as it seemed to be one of the few healthier things on the menu. I didn't try any of the cocktails, but some of our party enjoyed beer and mocktails. When our food came, the avocado toast was really delicious. It had perfectly cooked eggs that were beautifully runny and added a lot of flavor to the toast. I also liked the everything bagel seasonings. My husband chose the breakfast sand that he said he enjoyed. The service was better once we finally had gotten our order in. I actually really enjoyed my meal and the comfortable patio seating. The rest of our group was happy as well. It turned out to be a great place to visit with friends in a relaxed environment. There were a lot of other football fans with the same plan as us, which made watching the games fun. The food was great, they had a lot of great options for sharing. This place was hopping when we arrived. There was game on and Oktoberfest had just wrapped up. The venue was packed. We had reservations but came early for drinks. They seated us early since we were already there. It was outside, which was pretty nice. They had a ton of tables set up. Our service staff were all polite and friendly. The food was delicious and very good portions. I ordered the Blackened chicken with mash potatos and veggies. The mango mocktail was a bit too sweet for me but overall was okay.
