Let's start with parking: the parking lot was packed, had to drive to the parking garage down the street to park and walk over "honestly it's not a big deal unless it's raining" They have inside and outside seating available. The decor and tables, especially the soft seating is really nice. Kind of reminds me of a pub. The service is fast and efficient, maybe a little to fast "like they are in a hurry" otherwise the server's do a great job. I ordered the Loco moco, comes with rice, a hamburger patty, 2 fried eggs "sunny side up" macaroni, salad, and gravy. The server ask me how I wanted my burger cooked? I said medium rare. It came to me perfectly cooked at medium rare!! This was the first time I've had Loco Moco so I can't really compare it to others ... that being said, I'd order it again in a heart beat, it's so good!! Wifey ordered the salmon with succotash, she also was very happy with her meal. They give you plenty of food with your meal as well.
Great place to hang out with some delicious food and drinks! My watermelon margarita was so refreshing, it was the perfect drink for summer. They had a lot of other interesting cocktails that I'd like to try in the future. All of the food we got was sooo good. My absolute favorite was their ceviche. Our waiter Anthony let us sit upstairs (we were the only ones up there) and he always checked up on us. His exceptional attention to detail made our experience here even better. Will definitely come back!

Shocked I haven't written a review for Water Tower Kitchen yet! I used to come all the time before Covid and I can't believe it took me this long to come back! I always really enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. It's a fun and lively spot with lots of natural light. The menu isn't super expansive, but they have a decent number of items and also offer some healthier bites. We recently came here to watch a college football game, they had three big projector screens, playing different games, as well as more TVs around the walls playing the games as well. It looked like most games were on at least two tvs, which was great so you could see them from whichever side you were sitting on. We opted to sit upstairs so that we could spend more time and have a good view of the screen. To eat we got the Tower Fries, which came with skirt steak that was really good, I was very impressed with the cook on the steak. We got some cocktails then opted for a high noon bucket since we were going to be there for a while. Service was friendly and they checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed!
Been wanting to try out Water Tower Kitchen for a while and finally came here! I've now visited two times within a short span and it's been nothing but great, honestly no big complaints on my end. Service and food both times have been consistent. Parking here is a little tough if you come on a busy weekend but you can park on the street. They have plenty of inside seating with a bar, they also have an upstairs but haven't been up there just yet. For the food its a couple of steps above bar food. I've tried their pretzel which is super large enough to share for 4 people. It was very warm and the dough was soft. As for the entree, both times I've gotten the loco moco. From the patty to gravy to eggs and mac salad, it just hits the spot. It's more Americanized then your classic Hawaiian dish (I know Hawaii is in the U.S but you know what I mean). I tried the fries and they are super crispy and good so I might get a burger and fries next time I come back.
3.5 stars not badddd for American food. Has its own parking lot but fills up fast. We got here on a Wed at 12 on the dot and was able to snag the last big table for a party of 5 in the covered outdoor area. Great customer service For American food it wasn't shabby. I wanted my tower fries. Pretty much carne asada fries. My Mac n cheese was basic as well. It was company paid lunch so I'm not complaining. Need to come back and try other items the next time I come back here with work.

Afterwards, we wanted food. I looked around and we picked Water Tower. I was already parked on the street so left my car there. (We were within walking distance.) My gf had parked in the lot and walked over earlier, so she left her car here. Basically parking is pretty easy here. One thing to note, they have TVs if you wanna watch sports. I always like know this when it's football / hockey / basketball season if I'm looking for a spot to go to during game time. We were sat in the dining room which had a TV we could watch. The spicy marg was light with a good amount of heat. I was driving so this was a good sipping cocktail. I really liked the croissant waffle. It was not too sweet, flaky, and crispy. The tower fries are a good staple. Good amount of toppings to make it substantial. The ceviche was all right. I could have skipped that. I wanted more citrus and freshness. But we wanted something savory to contrast the fries and the waffle. Cute place to grab brunch in Campbell. Note: They gave us a complimentary dessert / sweet treat which was much appreciated. Love the food and the ambience here. This review is about great service. Walked in with a group of 10 people, including 4 young kids without a reservation. They had a table for us and we were seated with minimal wait. We ordered drinks and food for the kids. Told our waiter to bring the kids food out as soon as it was ready. Our waiter provided us with coloring sheets and crayons. That kept the older 3 occupied. The toddler wanted to roam. The staff and guests were very accommodating to our wandering toddler and the various adults in our party that followed them around. The adult food order got behind a large take out order, according to the wait staff and kind of dribbled out to us. The restaurant ended up comping us a drink on the last entree to arrive and gave us 2 free desserts. Our party found this more than far. Great service. Good food. Nice ambience. Thanks Water Tower!
Came here and it did not disappoint! I ordered the lavender drink (so refreshing and not overly sweet), the miso salmon which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, lettuce wraps that were super fresh, and the buffalo cauliflower bites that had the best crispy texture with just the right amount of kick. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. The vibe was relaxed and it's such a cute spot in Campbell. Definitely a place I'd come back to especially for that lavender drink again!
Great place for drinks and food with friends. Service was great, very attentive but not pushy and extremely accommodating. We had a stroller and they were fantastic about making space for it. A lot of good food options, everything sounds good so we had a hard time deciding. Ended up going with the hummus, the nacho fries, and the buffalo chicken. Everything was delicious. Planning to go back to try other things on the menu. They also have a great selection of nonalcoholic drinks and a killer beer list.
Water Tower Kitchen was excellent all around. The service, food, and atmosphere were all on point. Reservations through Yelp was convenient, quick and easy From start to finish, everything felt well run and welcoming. We started with drinks and appetizers, and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Banana Negroni ($18) and it was perfectly balanced. Appetizers like the Mexican Street Corn ($11), Gilroy Garlic Shrimp ($17), Chicken Lettuce Wraps ($19), and Buffalo Cauliflower ($14) were delicious and great for sharing. For mains, there was something for everyone and every dish landed. Turkey Club ($19), Asian Chicken Salad ($18), Chili and Cornbread ($17), Philly Cheesesteak ($23), Baja Shrimp Salad ($29), and Loco Moco ($23) plates were all enjoyed with zero complaints. My Miso Salmon ($32) was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, the veggies were fresh and crispy, and the meal was very filling. Dessert wrapped things up nicely with the Ube Cheesecake ($10) and the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake ($10) both excellent. The drinks were on point, the appetizers were flavorful, and every main dish was well executed. Not a single complaint from the table. Highly recommend Water Tower Kitchen and would absolutely go back. Our server was great too. She was attentive, pleasant, and took her time with our large table. She checked in just the right amount. It's not my first time here and I won't be my last. It's a perfect spot for a group gathering.
We went here after helping out a former coworker and I saw this place was in the area. I had the jambalaya with pasta, we also got burgers, loco moco, fries, and others. Drinks seemed good, people liked the mango bliss. The employees were friendly, one of my coworkers liked the sweater but they didn't make it and that seems like a missed opportunity for money and promotion. Nice vibes, cool place maybe will come back but it's a bit far for me.
I cannot thank you and your team enough for such a wonderful rehearsal dinner and welcome party on the patio. My sister, who set up, could not sing Water Tower Kitchen's praises enough. She was so impressed with everyone's willingness to meet her requests and address any challenges as they arose. As a former caterer, she has a keen eye for certain details and everything met her standards. I was so pleased upon our arrival. The food and service was fantastic as well. I am still getting compliments five days later. Planning from a distance was a challenge for me, especially since I am such a visual person. Your guidance leading up to the event was very reassuring to me, for which I am grateful. Thank you for helping kick off a great weekend!
3.5 rounded up to 4. Came here twice both for birthdays. I love how it is easy to make reservations and I would recommend this place for bigger parties. Parking sucks though, but it is downtown Campbell. The ambiance was nice and modern inside and outside. Our party sat outside since it was a nice day out. Service was initally slow, but it was understandable since it was a Friday night and busy. But I give them props for giving a free birthday shot and dessert so shout out for making this experience great! The cocktails and food were decent. I got the fiesta tower fiesta cocktail which was on the smokier side. I liked my friends' drinks alot more. They got the blackberry buck and orchard bliss. For the food, we got buffalo caulliflower, watertower fries and pretzel sticks for starters. Also got the shrimp ceviche salad, jambaya, loco moco, spicy fried chicken sando and mushroom swiss burger. I thought all were decent, I would skip on the preztel sticks, jambaya, loco moco and fried chicken sando. My favs were the buffalo caulliflower and watertower fries. Water Tower Kitchen is a cozy place and a sports bar. It also has a second floor but no one goes there probably because either they close off that section or no one wants to dine up there. I really like the atmosphere but it kinda looks confusing because it looks more modern at ground level while the ceilings look more industrial. I really like the taste of the fries and especially when they served them in a small basket. From the Chicken Sando, there's more taste from the bread and the coleslaw than the chicken itself. It seemed that they use chicken breast for it due to its lack of taste, but better seasonings can make the sandwich stand out more. From the menu, they seem to have limited options, but I would try other food to give myself another chance. read more

How I have never updated my review until today?! I will never know. This is our go to brunch spot. The vibes are on point. They always have the best games on. Music is amazing and upbeat- may be sensitive to those who don't like the louder music. Food and drinks are always on point. I wouldn't miss their mimosas, fried rice (WITH THE EGG), French toast, espresso martini, and spicy chicken sandwich. Hot take: If your kid loves fruits- the fruit plate as a meal HITS! stopped by here for a quick dinner before a movie. The menu had a lot more variety than I expected. I went pretty classic though and got the mushroom Swiss burger with a side salad. They certainly don't skip on the portions and the burger was nice and juicy. Tried some garlic fries as well and they were nice and crispy. The service was very quick and it seems there is a extensive menu of fun cocktails as well. This is a perfect place if you want to meet up with somebody's and watch a game with some solid food. read more

I made a reservation for Friday at 1pm but it wasn't too crowded. The ambiance is homey and with back patio, you can bring your animal friends, too. All of the staffs were so friendly and attentive! For drinks, I really enjoyed Tipsy Gold Rush, clarified milk punch with Hennessy, pineapple, walnut, saffron - it literally tasted like juice. The Orchard Bliss was also fabulous with nice foam on top. Food, we got the Pretzel that comes with delicious mustard and beer sauce, chicken flautas, and the smash burger, which comes with a side of fries. All of the food came out fast, hot, and simply delicious. They have a wide selection of food genre so surely there's something for everyone. read more
First time here for a late lunch and the vibe, service and food was good! It was crowded but we only waited 5 minutes for a table. We ate outdoors and it was shaded. They also have large TV screens for sports day, etc. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad - the sauce and fried wontons was so flavorful! I also ordered the orange juice and it was refreshing. My friend ordered the chicken & waffles, and she liked it. The waffles were also croissants style. It's a good spot for brunch/game days, etc. I would come back here again. Decided to randomly go here for a late lunch today and it was wonderful! Not too busy around 3pm which was great. It was a very chill vibe during the time we went. I got the philly cheesesteak and my boyfriend got the mushroom swiss burger. Both were sooo good but I preferred the burger over the cheesesteak. The fries were a nice compliment to the meal. Our server was awesome and he even recommended us to try the house ranch which is BOMB by the way.... you can't skip out on the ranch lol. The only thing that holds it back from 5 stars is the fact we were given dirty plates at first and that my bf found a small hair in his food, but we aren't too extremely critical about it because the positives outweighed the negatives in this case. Accidents happen! They replaced our plates for us and my bf wasn't really too phased. read more
I love Water Tower Kitchen! I've been here for brunch for book club (great Mimosa or morning cocktails). I always get the chilaquiles. I've been here for lunch: I've tried a variety of appetizers and healthy lunch pics (salad or lettuce wraps). I've been here for private parties: upstairs rented with a full bar. Food is always good. Great cocktails. Plenty of parking. Definitely come and enjoy for any occasion. read more
The interior is very cute here. I especially liked the high ceiling. The waitress was warm and welcoming which set a nice tone for the meal. I was not a big fan of the smash burger though. It felt heavy and was a bit messy to eat. I checked Yelp photos before ordering and thought it would come with lettuce and tomato but it does not. I asked for them and the waitress brought them right away. Without them, the burger is simply two large smashed patties with cheese and buns. That might be great for some people but it is not my style. read more
Came on a Sunday with my sister in law and we found parking right away! I was surprised because it is in downtown Campbell. We also got sat down right away. We wanted to sit closer to watch the football game, so we had to wait a bit as there were reserved tables. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star is because we did wait a bit to get our order taken and our finished tab as well (mind you, there was like hardly anyone sitting down where we were and there were like 4 servers by the bar talking to each other). Nevertheless, everyone was friendly and the food was delicious. They had a lot of tv screens, perfect to watch any sports games! I loved their waffles! I made a reservation for Saturday evening and it's super easy to make a reservation on Yelp. Right when I got in, I checked in with the host and got seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and came to check in with us pretty frequently to see if we needed anything and I appreciate the good service. We got seated inside this time and there were a lot of tv screens, which were a bit distracting while my friends and I were trying to converse and the music is slightly too loud so we had to talk over the music. We ordered our usual: tower fries and chicken wraps. My friend usually gets the chicken wraps since they're gluten free and she doesn't mind them because they're good. I really like the tower fries and shared with a friend who can only have halal meat, so we asked for the steak on the side. Service is great and they are very accommodating which is nice but the music indoors is quite loud so it could get a bit difficult to have a conversation if you get easily distracted like us read more

The food here is always so consistent and that keeps me coming back but tonight we had the sweetest hostess (tinsel in her hair) so sad I didn't get her name and the best server, Kendra! She was very helpful when it came to drink selections and checked in frequently. The other servers/managers, and bussing staff were very helpful too. We order the following: -hummus (always a must) -shrimp ceviche (my partner loved) -Caesar salad (my favorite go to) -Mac n cheese (so delicious and creamy) -blackened chicken side (for the carnivores -amazing vodka drinks made by Kendra Live the inside, very cute, not like a regular restaurant. It's a cool restaurant. So many herbivore options and a VERY pet-friendly place. read more

The buffalo cauliflower here is one of the best I've ever had. The espresso martini and the butterfly pea drink is truly amazing. On a recent trip back to the Bay Area our family grabbed lunch here. We liked it so much we went back and had dinner there. My wife had been here with friends where we lived and raved about it but it was the first time for the girls (10 and 12) and I. There is limited parking in front of the restaurant but there are a number of parking structures within a short walk. The inside is very spacious and has additional seating upstairs on the 2nd level. On the lunch trip the girls had their usual chicken fingers and fries, my wife had the Beets and Greens salad and I had the Loco Moco. The girls, who are chicken finger and fries connoisseur, said these were the best that they have had. My wife enjoyed the salad and my Loco Moco was just ok (not as good as the Loco Moco I had on our last trip to Hawaii). When we went for dinner the standouts were the Mexican Street Corn and the Garlic Noodles (with shrimp). The staff took great care of us and service was great. Looking forward to going back on our next trip to the Bay Area. read more

There may be truth in the rumor that they are opening at a local comedy club next week. Quality service through and through.... Rafa, nice job on the Club America and Ireland garb!!! The Great Gal loved her Chicken and Waffle. I nibbled as well and loved the flavor of the waffle. I ripped through the Breakfast Sando, after adding a splash of Cholula . The hefty serving of sliced fruit made for a nice balanced combo. We enjoyed both meals!!!! read more
This was my first time trying Water Tower Kitchen and it was amazing! The service was great and the server gave us helpful suggestions when deciding between different menu items and drinks. The drinks we got were both pretty and yummy! Cute that the watermelon marg came with a watermelon slice. I was pleasantly surprised that there were a lot of vegetarian options on the menu. I went with the Mac and cheese and it was so good. We got the pita with hummus and pretzel sticks for appetizers. Both were really good. All the food was a perfect quantity with reasonable prices as well. I ordered the churro waffle for dessert. It came with fruits, syrups, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and plated very aesthetically and really tasty! :) read more

We met friends and had good expectations of what this cute little restaurant would provide after reading the reviews, I would say the tables enjoyed their cocktails. I enjoyed a strawberry lemonade. But the food comparatively to what the greater San Jose area has to offer was lacking. Two had a Loco moco supposedly the patty was cooked to order, but both complained, It was a little tough and overcooked. I was told the fried rice was exceptional so I got that. The eggs were a little gooey on top and it seemed like they made up flavor within an abundance of salt. I wouldn't return and that's just our opinion. Service was really good read more

came here for new year's day lunch/brunch, we all enjoyed the food, service and the atmosphere! i got a breakfast burrito with chorizo, it was good except no chorizo flavor at all. it would have made the burrito much better. tower fries were good but i wish the guacamole was a little less sour tho. everything else was solid (but not particularly outstanding). i would def return to try other stuff! the service also made a difference as we sat around after we paid to chit chat some more and our server never rushed us. she also checked on us a few times during meal, great attitude also! forgot to ask her name :/ read more

Visited on a Saturday afternoon for brunch and was surprised it was not busy at all! My party of 4 and I were sat right away. There was an event going on nearby resulting in the parking lot being full capacity, so I would suggest parking across the street or find street parking if this is the case for your visit as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant gave a very industrial feel, with a cute loft that provided more seating + a bar that opens for busier days. The food came out really fast and everything was delicious and fresh, especially the shrimp ceviche! The açaí bowl was refreshing, croissant waffle was soft and provided the perfect amount of sweetness, and the tower fries were super flavorful. My party and I also ordered a pitcher of the Lily's Rose Punch and that gave us a drink and a half for all four of us which was perfect. We did find a piece of plastic in our acai bowl but honestly didn't make too much of a fuss about it.. we just brought it to our servers attention for the sake of other customers potentially receiving the same piece of plastic in their acai bowls and they were nice enough to take it off our bill. Regardless of that, I will still be coming back because the food, service, and overall vibe of the place was great. Definitely a perfect spot to catch up w friends or family. Our first time at Water Tower Kitchen, despite passing it many times during visits to Downtown Campbell. We were seated right away, with our indoor seating request honored from the reservation. It was tough to decide what to order due to the sheer amount of tempting options, but we settled on the boneless wings as a starter. One companion in my group had the watermelon margarita, which they enjoyed very much. My other companion ordered a mocktail off the menu, but the bar had run out. Our server, Rafa, immediately took care of the situation, as they were out of his first choice, and he had the bartender whip up an incredible custom mocktail. (We don't take pictures of food, but this drink was so good and beautifully presented that it warranted an exception to the rule.) Right away, I knew Rafa was looking out for us and that we were in good hands. The boneless wings came out quickly and were enjoyed by all. The brining really makes a big difference in tenderness, and they were juicy and crunchy, with the sauce at the perfect spicy level. Our entrees came out next. My companion had the WTK fried rice and was delighted with the balance of flavors and presentation. My other companion had the regular fried chicken sandwich and enjoyed it thoroughly. he also commented on how crispy the home style fries were. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was perfect. The pineapple coleslaw really elevated the flavor profile and added a nice balance from the spiciness of the sauce. We shared a molten chocolate cake for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Hats off to the team, and especially Rafa for his good-natured humor and attentive service. The meal was so good that one of my companions exclaimed, "This is my new favorite restaurant, and I'd like to have my next birthday celebration here." Rafa provided all the details about their services for larger parties, and we'll be back very soon. All in all, a gem in the crowd and competitive Downtown Campbell restaurant scene, and at this point, the clear leader and favorite! read more
