So- The truth is i've been here FIVE times over the last 2-3 weeks. I am now a regular customer! I've hesitated to write a good review because it feels like Marysville's best kept secret. Everything is cooked SO well, the fries are always hot and crispy. The beef cooked true. my husband absolutely hates most people's take on wings- but this place has him going back for more. The environment makes you forget that the world outside is falling apart- (but i will say they are mask compliant) they have a touchless jukebox. i can't rave about the food and drinks enough though- absolutely delicious and reasonably priced with most food being under $10 with generous portions. If you want a great drink that sneaks up on you- get the "passion." it's coconut rum, vodka, pineapple, orange, grenadine, and other juices and liquors. want to say cherry- garnished with an orange slice. it is absolutely delicious if you like the beach. Hope this was helpful- will be going back again soon!

    Raw Chicken Tenders

If you do decide to dine here, I would recommend checking to make sure your food is completely cooked before taking a bite. I was served raw chicken tenders. I also requested no hot sauce but still was served hot sauce in a cup that was spilled all over my food when it arrived at the table. It was an overall terrible experience. A table that came in after us received their appetizer before we were even asked if we were ready to place our order. Once we received our food, we were never asked by our server if we needed anything or how everything turned out, never refilled our drinks, etc. She came back at the very end and asked if we needed anything, & at this point, some of our party had already went to the car. Just an absolutely horrible experience. If you're looking for waterfront dining, go to Duke's or Dockside Willie's.

    Great foot and atmosphere

What a great experience!! Chef Jimmy visited our table. He prepared a fantastic spread of salad, grilled octopus, salmon, crab cake, and burgers. The drinks were on point. Will return again and again. The view only enhances the whole experience! Thank you.

Just a quiet lunch stop ate on the Deck! Great wings with honey sauce (hot and sweet) they were the plain wings fried crispy no breading and just the right amount of sauce to add just the right compliment to the wings! The wings were laid atop of their crispy French Fries which allow you to enjoy more of the wing sauce while eating the fries! A Cup of Chili and some loaded corn chips were my wife's choice for lunch the loaded chips were fantastic and she actually complimented them on their chili! She's a chili fanatic so that's a compliment in itself! Looking forward to returning to Marysville during the summer to enjoy their evening meals and try out their beer menu!

This place had been on my radar for a while, but when I recently learned that Grappling Crab Shack…read morewas serving Crab Stuffed Deviled Eggs, there was no longer any point in delaying the inevitable. A crabby dinner needed to happen...immediately! I recruited an adventure buddy and we made plans to meet at Grappling Crab Shack's creekside home base on a rainy Saturday evening. We arrived around 5pm, about an hour before closing, and thanks to the rain, we had the place almost entirely to ourselves! If you've never been, Grappling Crab Shack is a local family-owned business specializing in fresh Maryland blue crabs, gourmet crab cakes, seasonal seafood specialties, catering and a food truck that travels throughout the area. It's one of those hidden gems that feels like you've stumbled onto a local secret. Since it was our first visit, we decided to do what any reasonable seafood lovers would do....order basically everything! First up were the Crab Stuffed Deviled Eggs ($18 for six). Holy. Cow! These were TREMENDOUS! The filling was loaded with crab, each egg was topped with a little bit of bacon and they disappeared from the plate embarrassingly fast. If you visit Grappling Crab Shack and don't order these, I genuinely think you're making a mistake! Next came the Cajun Jambalaya ($10) with chicken, smoked sausage, tomatoes, trinity vegetables and Cajun spices. This was excellent. Smoky, flavorful, and carrying just enough heat to let you know it was Cajun without setting your face on fire. My adventure buddy never once reached for hot sauce, which says a lot! Then came the Cheesy Crab Bites ($15). These might actually be my favorite surprise of the evening. Homemade crab cake mix blended with mozzarella, cream cheese and garlic, rolled in panko and Old Bay, fried until golden and served with a house remoulade. I'd choose these over mozzarella sticks every single day of the week! The cheese pulls were absolutely glorious, and the remoulade added the perfect tangy finish. Finally, we tackled the Gourmet Crab Cake ($17). This thing was HUGE! Made with fresh Maryland blue crab, it was beautifully seasoned, perfectly cooked, and held together much better than several crab cakes I've had recently. I'm actually glad we skipped ordering it as a sandwich because the crab cake itself deserved to be the star of the show. Our total came to right around $60, and considering how much food we ordered, plus the leftovers we both brought home, I thought it was money well spent. We grabbed one of the covered tables out back overlooking the yard and listening to the creek rush by. Despite the rain, it was a really relaxing place to enjoy dinner. I can only imagine how nice it is on a sunny summer evening. The staff couldn't have been kinder, bringing everything out to us with smiles and making us feel right at home. This place is an absolute hidden gem and one of my favorite seafood spots to have checked out in the last few months! I'll definitely be back, preferably on a dry evening when I can fully enjoy the creekside setting. If you love crab, seafood, or just supporting awesome local businesses, don't sleep on Grappling Crab Shack. And whatever you do...order the deviled eggs!

I was told to hold on a few minutes because my food wasn't ready. Cool. After waiting 5minutes the guy working there then calls me back inside to say "AINT NO MORE". I said excuse me....no more crabs? "Yea no more crabs" He couldn't care less which was even more pathetic because that's not how you treat a paying 1st time customer! One look and it immediately earned a spot on my "we're going here soon whether the universe likes it or not" list. Friday Night Date Night doesn't usually send me into the city. After a long week of people-ing, I typically lean toward easier parking and fewer humans. But this Friday? I was willing to tolerate civilization just a little longer for seafood that looked that good. We rolled in around 5pm and somehow scored a street parking spot just a few doors down -- AND it was free after 5pm. At that point I assumed the night was blessed. Walking inside was...an experience. The space was pretty dark, with most of the lighting focused near the kiosk ordering stations at the back. A few empty tables, music playing overhead, and honestly -- it felt a little chilly inside for a February evening. But we didn't come for ambiance. We came for garlic butter seafood chaos, and we were committed. Ordering is done through self-service kiosks. We selected dine-in and ordered the garlic butter crab and shrimp fries ($13.99), the crab cake, shrimp, and cheesy grits ($27.49), and two Diet Pepsis ($1.25 each). Total came to about $55 with tip -- very reasonable considering what we were about to experience. While we waited, a few people came in for pickups and one very busy staff member (hoodie included) was hustling back and forth like a one-person operation keeping everything moving. A little while later, our food arrived -- already packed in to-go containers, which honestly felt like a thoughtful move because leftovers were inevitable. And then we opened the containers. And then...we fell in love. Garlic Butter Crab AND Shrimp Fries: Absolute insanity in the best possible way. Piled high with shrimp and crab -- and I mean no skimping whatsoever. Garlic butter sauce everywhere, perfectly crispy seasoned fries underneath, and rich, savory flavor that made it impossible to slow down. This is the kind of dish you think about later while staring into the void. Crab Cake, Shrimp, and Cheesy Grits: I am not a grits person...or at least I wasn't before this moment. These creamy Gouda cheesy grits have officially converted me. Smooth, savory, and ridiculously good. The crab cake was golden perfection with minimal filler, the shrimp were huge and perfectly seasoned, and the Cajun cream sauce tied everything together into what might be one of the best dishes I've had in months. Possibly longer. I'm still thinking about it. We ate until logic intervened and still left with about a third of the food for round two -- which I'm already excited about. Hookers might be easy to overlook if you're just passing by, but do yourself a favor and make it a destination. If you love seafood, this is easily one of the most underrated spots around. Big flavor, generous portions, fair pricing -- no over-the-top "trying too hard" seafood theatrics required. I showed up curious, left full, and now find myself emotionally attached to cheesy grits. That feels like a successful night.

The day before, I stopped at the same place to get some delicious fish, but that night I wasn't able to "swim with the fishes," so I came back the second day--and that was the best "swimming in the ocean" I ever did. I indulged in some delicious, cheesy, savory grits along with some delicious shrimp, fried to perfection with a golden, crispy brown outer layer drizzled with seasoning (but not too much). I also had some delicious flounder; now, this fish wasn't any less than the shrimp. The fish was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had. I know a lot of fish--all the fish in the sea know me, and I know the fish. I must say the establishment is pretty inviting; however, myself being a cleaner, I know that it can definitely use a good cleaning. I did use the bathroom, and well, that was before I had my food and not after, which means it's good, and also the kitchen is clean. I enjoy this place because you do not have to deal with a waiter when it comes to ordering your food. All you have to do is just order at a kiosk, which makes it more convenient. They also sell smoothies, which are very nice as well. I do recommend this place for "to-go" food. To dine in would be okay, but would not be ideal only because it does need a good touch-up; however, the food is always consistent. If you have any questions, there are staff on site. I hope my review helps you make your decision on choosing to visit this location. My Ratings: * Food: 5/5 * Establishment: 2.5/5 * Convenience: 5/5

This restaurant is located in Fairfield, PA. They need to update the address on their website. We were directed to 989 Track Rd. but the actual address is 2789 Track Rd. I don't have any explanation for this discrepancy. This is a very casual place; the dining area is open to the bar, which I don't particularly care for, but it was clean. There is also a covered deck outside where you can sit and have your meal as well. The plastic bucket in the middle of the table was meant to be the communal waste can for discarded crab shells, shrimp skins, paper trash, etc. I guess it was a handy thing to have if you're eating crabs but kind of disgusting if you're not. I'd prefer NOT to have to look at the discarded remains of my fellow dining partners meals. My girlfriend and I each ordered wine; she a White Zinfandel and for myself a Pinot Grigio. Both were such an inexpensive version and so sickeningly sweet that we both winced when we took a sip. Hubby was happy with his Stella on tap. It's more of a beer place. My friend and I split an appetizer of peel and eat shrimp. They really were delicious and were more than just Old Bay Seafood seasoning; there was just something that made them really tasty. I tried one of her hush puppies and it was probably the best hush puppy I've ever eaten. My Crab Imperial was OK. It wasn't creamy. It was kind of chunky which was a little bit offputting. I'm not sure what type of crab was used‍The baked potato was way overcooked and had so much butter on it that I couldn't taste the potato. It was just a mushy greasy mess. Our salads came in such small plastic bowls that mine tipped over the first time I put my fork inside. My hubby's fish was outstanding and my girlfriend's husband gobbled up his dinner, so I'm assuming it was really good as well. Overall, it was ok ... I didn't feel it lived up to all the good reviews that it has gotten.
