Came here at sunset and it was a good vibe! The view is unbeatable and the drinks are great. Came with a big group of 9 and we were lucky to have found seating outside. They have multiple areas, including a huge indoor and large outdoor section too. Drinks - my wife got the Bo Ty and it was the best drink she had during our weekend trip. My coconut drink was fantastic too. Roughly $16+ for cocktails. Then we proceeded to order bottles of wine, which start at $37 for the bottle. BOTTLE. Which is a great deal and highly recommended. The food we ordered was good as well. Fries with au zataar were good though needed more sauce. Fried chicken was great and the pretzel bites were solid too. Service may be the only low point, given it's a very busy spot and the waiter missed parts of our order. Would come back again

Great rooftop bar right on Asbury Park boardwalk to enjoy the beach views with plenty of seating and standing room, inside and out. A fun crowd, good food, excellent cocktails and very kind and attentive staff. We went on a Saturday eve, sat in the rooftop outdoor longe area, ordered some drinks and small plates. Had a great experience overall.

Rooftop spot off boardwalk where you can see who is playing at stone poney and if they are not playing than one of many great acts might be playing right below on the boardwalk which is a cool treat to have while here. We came straight from work and got the sunset and live music to go with our appetizer and strong drinks. Allowing patrons to sit anywhere on this rooftop area allows for some cool spots to hang out. We had enough water and drinks while we were there Bar food was ok but experience we got was great. We will return as place was crowded but couldn't tell in the service.

I didn't order any food from here, so I can't comment on the food. My boy and I came here for some drinks and conversation by the short. It was a great time. The drinks were pretty good. He ordered an old-fashioned and I ordered The Mermaid and the walrus. Both were very good. Perfectly made The service here was pretty good. I spilled some of my drink, and a waitress somehow saw and brought me a napkin to wipe my hand. The vibe here is so chill and nice. You get ocean views, cocktails, and chill music. Perfect place to have a drink after work. Come check it out.

Spent the day in Asbury with my girlfriend who needed some beach therapy after having a double knee replacement just a few weeks prior. We decided on Watermark for dinner after spending some time on the boardwalk. The only obvious way to entry were flights of stairs from the boardwalk or from the street, but we had read that it was handicap accessible. I spoke with a waiter and he connected me with the manager who went out of his way to show us elevator and then met us when we exited. He graciously offered both of us complimentary drinks which were well received. We loved the atmosphere of the deck area. Our waiter was very attentive even though he was very busy. We ordered four tapas as this was our dinner, but we would have been satisfied with just three. We had the Hummus Crudites, Falafal Bites, Boneless Chicken Bites, and the Coconut Shrimp. It was all fantastic. The Falafal plate was bigger than we had expected. Great service, food, drinks, and atmosphere. Everyone we spoke to on the deck was very friendly and we had a nice sunset to top it off. Perfect spot to wrap up a day at the shore.

Amazing experience on watermark rooftop bar on Pride Sunday thanks to our server Anna! Was a very busy afternoon but we were well taken care of! Anna was so kind and poised and made us feel so welcome despite the obvious rush! Anna was so professional and truly made our experience at watermark one to remember! We hope to see Anna and visit the rooftop again soon :)

One of my friends and I got together and tried this spot out. I have been wanting to give it a try for a while. When we arrived we found parking not too far. Fyi you have to pay until 9pm daily. When we walked in the spot was super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors at first and got drinks. The bar moved fast and the drinks were affordable. I got a spiked tea and it was good. I then got a glass of wine and that was good too. My friend enoyed her drinks. We sat outside for the remainder of the time there and the views were nice. A DJ comes after a certain time also. We had a good time and I definitely will return.

Watermark is still my favorite Asbury bar and they did not disappoint despite the current restrictions due to COVID-19. We stopped by after a day at the beach. The hostess asked for my phone number and I was sent the wait time and the menu via text. We didn't have reservations but were seated right away. The seating arrangements are spaced out and I felt very comfortable. The drink and food menu are limited. I was not able to get my favorite drink, the Asbury iced tea but I tried In The Buff and really liked it. At one point it started drizzling and the hostess handed every party a big umbrella and assured us that the rain should pass, which it did. I was really impressed by this. Can't wait until my next visit!

Great atmosphere!! It's a roof top with tapas overlooking the beach. We had a bunch of drinks. Our server was Rose. She was very good. We had sliders, a chicken flatbread , fried chicken bites. Everything was good. Most of all my Cosmopolitan's were great!

When you're looking for a nice rooftop drinks spot, this is the place to go! We've been twice now, and had the same great server every time. I've tried several of their cocktails and never regretted them (the drinks are tasty!). I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Grabbing drinks at Watermark is such a great experience, it's honestly become my favorite bar in Asbury. The aesthetic at this bar is such a vibe! The couches are so conformable both inside and outside. Inside, there are beautiful white couches lined up next to glass windows that look out onto the ocean. Fair warning: the lighting becomes really dim once the sun sets. But, it's also such a beautiful place to watch the sun go down. You can get amazing golden hour pics here. Outside, you have a wide assortment of neutral tone couches and you can feel the ocean breeze no matter where you sit. This whole place is a rooftop and it gives you a birds eye view onto the board walk -- really fun for people watching on a busy day. They have multiple fans running at all times so you never really get hot - we also went during sunset so it was a little cooler during that time of day. There are no dining tables however, kind of just stools and small tables which is enough if you order a few appetizers. They don't really serve full on dinner food, but more like small plates -- which can make you full really fast if you get a bunch. I wouldn't choose this place for dinner, but maybe for a drink before or after! I am used to prices in Jersey City, where your most basic drinks are from $12 to $15, and here I ended up paying $16 FOR TWO DRINKS!! I thought it was a bargain, and for the vibes, it's super worth the price. The vodka soda really gets the job done -- $8 well spent! Service is nice, someone greeted us within seconds of stepping up to the bar. There's ample parking in the area as well, all of it is meters, so don't forget to add more time if/when you end up staying longer. The music here isn't too upbeat, it kind of just makes you want to sway as you enjoy your drink on the beach. It's a great ambiance and you're 100% going to end up staying longer than you wanted to here-- don't even try to fight it. 10/10 recommend! - It's a trendy, modern and fun place at a decent price, what more can you ask for!

Right now they have a tiki theme, however, that's it in my opinion as far as draw to keep going there. The drinks are an overpriced smoke screen for people who want to waste money on a sugary drink. And it goes along with the whole Asbury Park eclectic vibe but most of the drinks have a 5 or more ingredients I never heard of (which is fine) but it waters down the drink. I don't want to have a drink (or pay $15+ for a drink) that tastes like a fruity cup of juice. As far as the limited food suggestions on the menu- only 2 or 3- this is the third time we've been there and they said they were out of food -so then take it off your menu if you can't be consistent!!! We're not just going to keep drinking without anything to eat to go along with it. As far as the service it's inconsistent, when we sat down there was only two of us- The server was very nice but we waited too long for our drinks. A party of 7 came in about 1/2 hour after us and they had their drinks within 5 minutes- that should never be. After one drink we got the check and we left, we are completely scratching it off our list, we will not return there. It does bum me out because it has such potential and there's nothing like it around but I'm not going to visit an establishment where I walk away feeling it was a waste of money.

They even have seating that is cushioned and more of a lounge feel. Love that. Only downside is the music they were playing was sad lol personal taste, I know. We went on a Friday for a late lunch. Just rather not listen to sad music while I'm drinking. The service was great. Our waiter was so nice and ON IT! She didn't miss a beat. Even to be seated, we walked up from the beach, with our beach stuff. They allowed us to bring our beach bag, beach chair and cooler to the table. We were seated outside and it wasn't packed but it was busy. Okay so now the food! Food was okay. The wings were the best thing we had. The calamari was good and light. The sauce it came with was good. The fried shrimp and calamari came with the same sauce. Wouldn't get both of them together again. The fries with cheese sauce were okay. I think they put beer in the sauce. I tried to look on the menu to see if it said, but it didn't. Not that it was bad, it was just different. Biggest let down was the crab melt away I was so sad about that one. Think pita bread with a huge layer of crab dip. The center was still kind of cold. And it was just too much for that thin bread it was on. The filling on top just slid off every time I tried to pick it up. It wasn't a hit for me. I think that filling would be good on some bread, rather than a very thin pita. Didn't hate it, just wasn't impressed, don't think I would do it again. Maybe if I saw it came out on bread. Idk. The center was still cold also so I'm not sure. lol. The Pina colada came out cute and was tasty. Loved that. Last thing I want to mention, this is more of a "chill" spot now. The utensils are all plastic, plates all plastic, cups all plastic. Very chill vibe (not a complaint) I think I would go back to this place for wings and drinks. And to just hang out with friends and enjoy the view because the view is TO DIE FOR.

I ordered the 'Watermelon Crush', my friend ordered a Bucket of Pina Colada and my husband ordered a bourbon bucket drink. I do not remember the name though. The drinks were way too strong for my liking but my friend and my husband enjoyed theirs. We shared the 'Shrimp and Roasted Corn Queso' which was good. They definitely did not skimp on the cheese. Unfortunately, this appetizer also came out with the main meals. I really dislike when places do that. For our entrees, my husband ordered the 'Bang Bang Salmon' which he loved and thought it was delicious but not worth the $26 price tag. My friend ordered the 'Grilled Skirt Steak' which she seemed to enjoy although it was a small portion. I ordered the 'Grilled Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers' which I did like but the skewers were quite small and it was mostly white rice. Our bill came out to $164 which I really think is WAY too high for these meals or drinks. Our server was nice; but she was rarely there. The busser, however, she was on top of her game and super friendly! It might seem funny to mention the busser, but she was really great. I would not come back and honestly, I think there's other options that are better. If I did recommend it to someone, it would be for the drinks as they had buckets and seemed very popular and 2 out of 3 of my party enjoyed them.

The views are fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and we were genuinely excited to spend the evening there. I arrived with two friends and my service dog. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. We waited quite a while just to place our food order, and after ordering, we waited approximately an hour for our food to arrive. During that time, my dog had not even been offered water. If you don't want animals in your establishment we were more than happy to move on. We later learned there was a shift change taking place, which may explain some of the delays, but it certainly did not improve the experience. We also ordered an Aperol Spritz that was being advertised downstairs. It arrived noticeably flat, but we chose not to complain because we were trying to enjoy the evening. To provide some context, our table ordered ceviche, sliders, and two pizzas. This was not a particularly large or complicated order, yet we still waited approximately an hour for the food to arrive. When it finally did, some of it was served less than hot. Despite the delays and quality issues, we remained patient and polite, we wanted to enjoy the evening and the beautiful setting and we were hungry after a ling day at the beach. The most frustrating part happened after we had already been seated for over an hour and our food had finally arrived. A manager approached to confirm that my dog was a service animal because he had been instructed to do so. We answered his questions and explained that we would be leaving soon anyway. A few minutes later, General Manager Connor Anderson came to our table and insisted that my dog either be placed on the floor immediately or that we move outside. What made the situation so unreasonable was the timing. We had already been seated for over an hour, our drinks had been served, our order had been taken, and our food had finally arrived. I had literally just taken my first bite of pizza when this issue was suddenly raised. Had management addressed this concern when we were first seated, I would have respected their position and made a decision then. Instead, they waited until after we had spent over an hour at the restaurant and had finally begun eating before forcing the issue. My friends and I were actually considering moving outside, but the manner in which the conversation was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and hostile. Rather than continue an uncomfortable interaction, we asked for our food to be packed to go and left. To their credit, the staff ultimately removed the flat Aperol Spritz from our bill and also removed a beer that we never had the opportunity to drink because the situation had already escalated and we were leaving. While I appreciate that gesture, it did not make up for the overall experience or the way the situation was handled. Several employees appeared visibly uncomfortable during the interaction and seemed frustrated by the way the situation was being handled. While the service staff had been polite throughout the evening, the management approach completely changed the tone of the experience. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, it felt as though customer experience, common sense, and the efforts of the staff were being disregarded. We left feeling that the situation had been unnecessarily escalated when a calm conversation could have easily resolved it. AP Rooftop has an incredible location and beautiful views, but hospitality is about more than scenery. What should have been an enjoyable evening ended with us feeling unwelcome and rushed out after already investing significant time and money into the experience. The view earns five stars. Unfortunately, the service, timing, and management of this situation did not.

The restaurant was located in a multi-floor home on Wesley Lake, just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Cookman Avenue. The first floor was more of a bar and lounge, and they had a live jazz band on the evening we visited. We checked in with the hostess and were escorted up to the second floor dining room, which was a charming spot that was breezy and comfortable, yet refined. The floor also had its own bar. Our server was on top of things, but was also clearly newer to the place. Regardless, once we got settled, she took our drink orders, which had taken us some time to decide on since the menu was creative and vast. I went with A Sidecar Named Desire, which included Courvoisier VSOP, Cointreau, Chinola passionfruit liqueur, and fresh lemon juice. I adore passion fruit and had always liked sidecars as well, so I figured it was worth a try, and I loved it! It had a good balance of tart sweetness and smokiness. My friend similarly enjoyed her spicy margarita, and we both imbibed while picking on some bread and herb butter. For our meal, we decided to start by sharing the Greek Salad, which was a massive bowl of romaine topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, red onions, and Kalamata olives. We left off the feta cheese, but enjoyed the seasoned dressing made of red wine vinegar, honey, salt, oregano, and olive oil. It was a fresh and flavorful mix of vegetables that was a pleasure to eat. The entree options were endless and offered something for everyone. I wound up going with the Chilean Sea Bass, which was served over sweet onions and potatoes in a tomato herb reduction. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. It was a light and tasty dish that seemed perfect for the Spring season. After our meals we were a bit too full for dessert, but we decided to get a second round of drinks, mainly because I was dying to try their Pistachio Espresso-Tini. Wow, was that drink delicious! It blended Ketel One Vodka, Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur, natural pistachio flavor, and fresh espresso. The coffee notes were not super prevalent, but the creaminess, nuttiness was the real highlight. It was a decadent way to end a delicious meal. After we settled the bill and headed downstairs, I noticed several bowls of after-dinner mints, which were a nice touch. From the relaxed atmosphere to the interesting and expansive menu, Moonstruck was a terrific option for our Asbury dinner experience.

Our server, Michael, provided by far the worst service we've ever received. He appeared to be under the influence of something, as he spent long periods simply standing around making odd faces while our table and several others waited and waited for him to acknowledge us. We were left wondering if anyone was going to take care of us. When my husband politely asked about our meal, Michael became rude instead of apologetic or helpful. The food itself had good flavor, but it arrived cold, like it was not served right away, which was disappointing. To end the meal, we ordered a cappuccino, but it was so poorly made that it tasted like nothing but warm milk. It was completely undrinkable. What makes this especially disappointing is that I've always loved Moonstruck. It's been one of my favorite restaurants because of its excellent food and outstanding service. If this is the level of service the new owners are willing to accept, I worry about the restaurant's future. I truly hope management addresses these issues because Moonstruck has always been top notch!
