We were in Medford for a stand up comedy show at the Chevalier theatre and wanted a quick and simple place to eat before the show. Did a quick search and found this spot. We walked up and the seating inside is limited but we were able to get a table. It's a classic pizzeria where you goto the counter, order and pay and then your food comes out shortly after. We orders a small pepperoni pizza and 2 drinks and the pizza was done much faster than we expected. It's a traditional thin crust, possibly Greek style pizza and was very good. Not too greasy, but not dry. Toppings were a little sparse, but not awful. The pizza was piping hot and fresh which is great. We also saw some other people come in and get their food faster than they expected as well as lots of people coming in to pick up take out orders. Only issue I had was the drink selection was limited. It was conscience store style coolers with coke products but beyond the sodas not many choices. Oddly enough not even bottled water. I'd return to this spot if I was in the area for sure!!!

In our quest to hit every dinery in Medford, we went to Wellington's Pizza tonight. It wasn't crowded and the staff was efficient and helpful. We ordered the Caprese Salad (yum!), a 'small calzone' (for big people I guess! It was BIG), the Diablo Burger with O Rings and 8 of the chicken wings. The Caprese salad was good - solid fare and everything we expected. The Calzone was HUGE - or we are small. In any case, it was yum and enhanced with the marinara dipping sauce. This thing is a great deal for 9 dollars. See photo. We got Spinach and Mushrooms in there and the mushrooms were canned - but I LOVE canned mushrooms. The Diablo burger with O Rings was nothing to write home about. The burger was well well done, as in cooked cooked. The O Rings may have had an essence of onion in them at some time in the past. The standout was certainly the wings. They were perfectly seasoned and hearty. I would come back for the wings by themselves. In general, would I return to Wellington's? SURE.

Have been on this local search of the best Pizza place around & my search came to Wellingtons last week. It helps that I can order from them on Foodler and I get points. We ordered a sub, Burger, Pasta & Fried Mushrooms. Italian was huge & all toppings were great & it was really good. Burger was good, cooked perfectly as he likes it. Pasta was GOOD Flavor, really good. But it was too too thick & the shrimp was too dried out. Mushrooms were as you would expect friend corner pizza place ones to be. Would go again to try something else, but still looking for that AHA Moment... Everytime I find one, they close.

Update 10/19. Here is our fantastic pizza delivery! All of the toppings in the corner of the box. The delivery guy must have carried it sideways. Just what we have come to expect from them over the years.

Pizza was soggy, owner was rude, and took WAY too long to make a simple cheese pizza. Much better choices in the area.

Picked the Salsiccia pizza to split between us (and a poached pear and cannoli for dessert). First, the atmosphere is great! Inviting, with great views of Ball Square and the amazing pizza oven. The pizza arrived at the perfect temperature and quickly (we learned later that a pizza spends less than couple minutes in the oven due to how blisteringly hot it gets). Great flavor and composition to the pizza -- the sausage was extremely flavorful and there was just enough cheese. The dough is top notch, with just the right amount of chew! The poached pear and cannoli were excellent. Not too sweet with sufficient complexity. Very, very nice. My fiancé chatted with the staff and learned more about the location and the pizza oven (I mean, it's just too cool to not ask to see more closely). Great service, fantastic food. Will certainly return and I now feel remiss that we hadn't yet been.

The spicy sausage pizza was excellent, the dough is homemade and tastes incredibly fresh. The toppings are fresh as well, which really comes through in the flavor. It's a bit pricey, but that's fairly typical for the Boston area. Overall, we'd definitely recommend it. I believe they offer delivery, too.

Donna, our bartender, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. We asked her what her specialty was, and she recommended the espresso martini. She definitely wasn't exaggerating--it was absolutely to die for and one of the best we've had. Between Donna's outstanding service, the excellent drinks, and the cozy ambiance, Bocelli's is a place we'll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink and asking Donna to make you an espresso martini!

Ok let me start by saying Im reviewing this based on delivery and during a snow storm... (the…read morereason for the 3 stars) I envision eating IN HOUSE would improve my score CONSIDERABLY... We were tired of being stuck in the house and tired of crappy delivery & wanted "real" food - not pizza shop food and decided despite how shytty all the delivery places have been with their practices of allowing the drivers to make multiple stops (great for the drivers - but lessens quality of food when they are making so many stops and yours is cold when you receive), I digress... we wanted real food we decided to take a chance. Mom asked for Clams Casino and who the hell even has them yet will deliver them - and sure enough we found this place - Had never heard of it before this night. Now I cant go anywhere without ordering a little bit of everything for reference, then I take 2 bites am full and then leave in the fridge for a week & then throw away, I know - not a great practice, Its just how I get down... In addition to the Clams they actually had an artichoke on the menu, you dont find them in too many places so we stocked up on all the things. OMG to start all the food was still hot, not even just warm, but hot... Portions are the Biggest, but I mean we had more than enough food. The Clams were good, Great actually, the artichoke - can you see the size of it - INSANE!!! The stuffed mushrooms were tasty but like tiny, so I could take them or leave them. next time... But tasty! THe Pizza wasnt the hottest actually and I think if it was like a tad bit warmer it would have been a 9.4 (Go Prez), but even less than hot it was GOOOOOD!!!! The pasta was good, the chicken was so flavorful and Broccoli Rabe is like my jam, and the fact that I could swap out the pasta type & broccoli type literally had me quite excited... Skip the Garlic bread! Will DEFINITELY be adding this place to the regular rotation, it was so good and will also be stopping in to try in person!

We shared the arancini and some bread to lap up that sauce - those were absolutely delicious! The old space felt warm, charming, and welcoming, and the food was consistently great. Since the move, we've tried giving the new location a fair chance and have visited three times. Unfortunately, the overall experience just hasn't been the same. The atmosphere feels much more corporate and lacks the warmth and character that made the original location special. Several menu items have changed, prices have increased significantly, and the food hasn't been as memorable as it once was. The biggest disappointment has been the service. During our most recent visit on a Friday night while my sister was in town, the service was noticeably poor. It felt like our server was simply going through the motions and didn't want to be there. Everyone has off days, but when you're paying premium prices for a night out, you expect at least a friendly and attentive experience. We typically enjoy supporting restaurants and are happy to tip generously when the service reflects the experience. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations. After several attempts to give the new location a chance, we've decided this will likely be our last visit. It's disappointing because we genuinely loved Posto for many years and had hoped the new location would capture some of what made the original so special.

As someone who loves dining out--and who's Italian and has been fortunate enough to visit Italy…read moremany times--this was the meal of the year. I honestly can't think of another restaurant that captures the essence of Northern Italian cuisine at this level. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional. My advice: go family-style so you can share and experience as much of the menu as possible. The tortellini was outstanding, the pasta with the brandy cream sauce was unforgettable, and the short rib was absolutely phenomenal. Not a single dish missed, and there wasn't one thing we wouldn't order again. To top it all off, the chef came over to our table at the end of the meal to say hello--a thoughtful touch that made an already incredible experience even more memorable. I would put this restaurant up against anything I've had in Italy, and without question, it's the best Italian restaurant in the Boston area. The most surprising part? It's in Woburn, not the North End. 10/10. An unforgettable dining experience

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, so it's a great place for date night. The Fantastic: 1. Service -- our waiter was amazing, he took great care of us. We wanted for nothing! 2. Tortellini Alla Norcina -- this was delish. It was creamy, a little funky, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. 3. Cacio e Pepe -- also delish. 4. Mussels -- perfectly cooked, big and plump, and the bread to sop up the broth was also yummy. The plates are beautiful, but I think that plating and presentation takes priority over the food sometimes: 1. Bruschetta -- this was supposed to come with a balsamic drizzle, but it was served on a wooden plate and the drizzle was tiny and thin, so there wasn't really any balsamic. The dish could have used it to help cut through the cheese. 2. Bombolone -- dry, there was not a lot of custard in the pastry, and the surrounding sauces were more decorative than helpful. We did not enjoy the mixed drinks, they were all on the sour side and watery. So I would stick with wine or beer, the wine we had was excellent. Overall, we had a really nice time and would return.
