Wendy's the Iconic red-headed American Fast Food hamburger resturant. This location has been in Alahambra since the begining of time. Even with its more recent renovations its a dive of a fast food joint. But there is a light at the end of this tunnel. The food is good, very good, most people have been to Wendy's before but if you haven't you should try it. The are known for their square shaped patties cooked to order, and their "Frostys" which are basicly a very thick milkshake, both of these are rather good. They also have decent salads and chicken sandwiches. Their super value menu, well it really is a super value. You can get 5 chicken nuggest for about half the price of McD's 6 peice but it has more flavor then McD's too. The only problem with this place is it is a dump for the most part so only get the drive thru because the inside is depressingly crappy. Be forwarned however the drive thru workers don't always get things right, its kinda like playing a slot machine some times you win, one time they actually gave me a double classic with 4 yes four patties for some reason and some times you lose and get the wrong sandwich entirely. #1 Personal Recomendation: The Classic Double with cheese, 2 patties (= 1/2 pound) with the fixin's you expect on a burger all in a fairly good bun. read more

Honestly this restaurant is decent at best. The workers here always have an upset look on their faces like they don't want to be there. The food is what you would expect from a fast food restaurant. My go-to is the 4 for 4 (chicken BLT). I think the baconator fries are absolutely delicious. The restrooms are also cleaned pretty frequently which is good. I think this establishment would be improved if the workers there were a bit nicer and more eager to help. Overall, Wendy's is a fast food restaurant which is good for getting your food fast. Don't expect five Michelin star quality food and service. read more

I'm not a fan of this location, go to the one on Atlantic & Commonwealth, they're so much nicer and not cheap about sauces, dip, and other condiments plus the workers are nicer.!. I only go to this location for its accessibility on my way home. I usually do the drive thru when I do go, and I normally get their nuggets; so crispy, meaty, and delicious, but they always forget my sauce and though they ask me at the intercom, so I always have to hold up the line to check thru my bag and always have to ask for the sauce; it's redundant; but come on don't give me the dirty just put the sauce in the bag like you're suppose to. And the drive thru is so narrow, I did not know how those gigantic trucks get thru, but I've seen it happen. read more

Just left this Wendy's & the service was really horrible. I usually do drive thru & that's alright, but went in tonight just for a drink. There were only 4 people in the whole place, in line. After waiting 10 minutes or so for the line to move, I just sat down rather than continue be to wait. After another 10 minutes or so, I checked & the line had not moved. People had come in, waited & left. It was so incredibly slow. I will go back to eating at the one in South Pasadena. read more

Very disappointed with this location, Ordered a few baked potatoes and I come home with only potatoes... Breakfast food here is good... when it's FRESH. (if you're unlucky the bacon will be hard, potatoes old) Anyways it's a fast food joint so the service was meh. My brother and my cousin and I all had the key chain for free frosty's. we were craving it late thursday night so we went around 11ish 12 at night to go get some. They messed up our order. We didnt realize it until we got home. I ordered a baked potato (which the got right) a small fries (which is also correct, you cant really mess that one up) and a 6 piece REGULAR nuggets because my brother cant eat spicy food. And guess what not only we got the SPICY nugget but we only got 4 ! totally wrong. and i was too lazy to drive back cause it was really late at night and it was cold, just thought that the people working at night should pay more attention. Okay I've been here way too many times to be giving them this kinda rating!! I'm so disappointing!!! Every time I come here I always get spicy chicken sandwich (#6) and it always manage to come out good.. but for some reason today.. It tasted sour... yuckk!! and their fires? omg I always get them old It's sooo gross It tasted like if they cooked it up 2 hrs ago and just left it there until the heater light.. and the chicken nuggets use to be soo good now it just taste like shit. This store gets five stars for its customer service. My wife and I come here very often on our way home from work and besides the soda machine being out of the amaaaaaazingly red and delicious Daves Cherry Cream Soda and, occasionally cherry and vanilla syrups (and sometimes the bathrooms are a bit in disarray when we arrive around 4/430), we leave very happy. The managers here are awesome. They're always moving moving moving, unless they have to be at the front counter. The rest of the small team seems to follow suit, which is always great when you're a manager, to know that sometimes just your actions speak to employee behavior! We had a issue with our order today, which prompted this review, but it was fixed so rapidly and so thoroughly, I just couldn't keep it to myself. Okay, I came back! My son wanted to eat at Wendy's and here I am , again. It's interesting because the staff has changed from the last time I wrote my last review. The manager or owner was the cashier at the front. He was pleasant, smiled and took my order. The food arrived in "fast food" timing (within 3-4 minutes). The place was clean and service was excellent. Why the four stars? I gave 4 stars because there is no longer wifi and secondly, the TVs are no longer working. Wifi was important for my husband and watching the new and latest music videos was important fir my kids. For the whole family, good service and cleanliness is most important. read more

I had a Chinese New Year Potluck to go to. I decided to bring burgers because it was unique and different from all the chinese food we will be having. I had to order 30 burger before 10am, so I decided to call this Wendy's. Nathan the manager was great, he called me back to make sure I didn't prank call. He took my order at 9:20 and I told him I'll be there at 10:00am. I had to bring me 3 year old son with me, so I decided to go a 5-10 mins early. When we both got there, he gave us a frosty when we waited for the fresh burgers. I got my burgers and I got great service at Wendy's. You need Great Manager's like that for a sucessful buisness. read more

I went to this Wendy's to get my granddaughter a meal. She enjoys Wendy's. I went thru the drive through and placed 1 order for a regular 10 piece chicken nuggets. This was all I ordered. I get home to find that they gave me the spicy chicken nuggets instead. She was unable to eat them. I had to drive back and I am mad. There was more than enough staff on hand when I placed the order. I only ordered one meal, not a complex order. When I got back with the wrong food I asked to speak to the manager. The so called unprofessional manager named Alejandro would not be bothered to speak to me. He left it to the drive through worker to deal with me. If this is the customer service that this location provides I will tell everyone not to go to this location. Mistakes happen but when a manager refuses to speak to a customer who has a complaint that's bad business. Do not use this establishment especially when Alejandro is on duty. You won't get your order correctly and you will get bad customer service. read more
