The store manager, Liz was VERY defensive as I complained about the terrible service we got using their Drive Thru. With that it was clear to me as to why her employee's have the same I DON'T CARE OR I HATE MY JOB ATTITUDE. She leads by example.....Service or something is lacking in this establishment which is why they barely make 3 stars. You would think Liz would make an effort to make sure customers get the service they deserve. No apologies was made. I felt as if she was too busy to care. Okay, so the burgers are great. I am never dissatisfied with the burger (Dave's single). However, every time I go I end up with cold, slightly soggy, non salted French fries. Bacon deluxe...yummm! I love the Bacon Deluxe Cheeseburger. I am not supposed to be eating it but it's so good that it's hard not to. The bacon in the Wendy's burgers differs from those of other burger joints. You're not going to find a thin limp piece of bacon here. No sir! What you get is a nice thick piece of bacon...something with a little consistency to it! Also their salads are REALLY good too! The best fast food salad you can buy. I've only recently tried Wendy's since I've never really lived near one. The first time I got the strawberry tea, it was really good. The strawberry and tea was very well blended. But the second and third time, I don't know what happen.. It never tasted the same again. So I finally gave up ordering that. Worst experience at a wendy's ever. I pulled up to the window to give my order and the lady was very rude , didn't listen to anything i said , and just stopped listening to me when i was ordering. After 10 mins of waiting for her to listen so i could complete my order, she just hit complete and the screen gave me my total, WITHOUT ME FINISHING MY ORDER. Let me start out by saying our burgers were delicious for a fast food place. But that is the only thing I can rave about for this visit. Because we rarely eat here we decided to get everything we wanted. Assiago Homestyle Chicken Sandwich Baconator 4 for $5 (Jr. Bacon) ranch sauce 6pc chicken nuggets (BBQ sauce) Small chili Sour cream and chives baked potato Loaded Ranch fries Yep my bill came out to $35+ The drive through was quick considering my order was larger than a normal order. When we got home and started to dig through our bags that's when the "ugh I should have checked the bags before I left" feeling slapped me No sauce at all for any chicken nuggets not to mention the nuggets were tiny, just a little larger than a quarter. My baconator ended up a double baconator way to big for my liking. Loaded ranch fries was soggy and gross and seriously full strips of bacon is delicious in a burger but on fries not so much. This is the best part my sour cream and chives potato had no sour cream. Not in the bag not on the potato. So I got a baked potato with chives. Seriously I can't eat it like that so it went to waste. As for my jr. Bacon cheeseburger it was pretty good after I took out the disgustingly soft tomato and most of the lettuce that was in total bigger than the actual burger. I get it fast food isn't high quality but at least give me everything I ordered. Oh before I forget. Cashier was ok didn't give to much attitude but kept asking me if I needed a drink carrier um with 4 drinks yes I do need one but asked me 3 times was I supposed to change my mind? Literally stopped here because I was in a rush to get back to work and line was way shorter then MAC Donald's so figured, "hey, haven't had Wendy's in forever, sounds good" Wrong.... I ordered the Homestyle Chicken Sandwhich and a kids meal nuggets for my 2 year old. My sandwhich was literally soggy of grease as if they just dipped it in oil to warm it up. The edges that would have been "crispy" were literally drenched in oil and so soggy. My daughters fries were old and cold and she literally said mommy these fries are bad. Wendys pearl city was way better then kunias. Food here was perfectly cooked. Not overcooked at all like most fast food places. And their taco salad was awesome and very filling. Will come again when in the area. No more McDonald's for me. read more

I see a lot of mixed reviews at this location, and complaints about service, particularly with the drive-thru. Whether it's just tonight's crew, or management doing a good job with improvements, I had fast, friendly dine-in service this (Tuesday) evening. My double-combo meal with a side of apple slices was soon on my tray, along with a small cup of chili (thick and meaty, as advertised). I should have taken a picture; my burger was well prepared with Wendy's square patties, cheese slices, crisp medium-green lettuce, and ripe tomato slices. Though hard to get open, the packet of 8 apple slices made for a nice dessert. I came hungry and wasn't disappointed. read more

I came in a few nights ago, and thought the service wasn't that great... To start off, I did take the drive thru, so that was my fault to begin with, but I digress So I ordered their Pulled Pork Chesse Burger Combo... But when I got to the order here box, I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to say "Hello, Welcome to Wendy's", and even then after ordering, the guy messed up my order repeating it back. I had to tell him again, but then this time, he made me wait another 5 minutes, with no explanation, and then returned and asked if I wanted it spicy, sweet, or smoky... I will say, I think he might have been training, but still, it was as if he never took an order before. So after giving my order another time, and having to correct my drink, I finally pull forward, only to wait another 15 minutes, for three other cars... Then when I got to the front, a rather husky Asian kid throws the food in my face... Not literally, but he just puts it infront of me, and I look at him and go, I still need to pay, which he then goes, "oh", and snatches the food away from me... Then the guy, who I assumed took my order, tells me my total, and takes my money and gives me my change... Then the guy asks if I want ketchup, and I say sure cause I had fries, and instead of putting it in the bag, he just hands me ketchup packets -_-... The Asian guy comes back, but instead of giving me my food, some girl does it, and I say thank you... Now what gives it a cherry on top, is that upon coming home to eat it, I discover that the order is wrong... Its a regular Pulled Pork, minus the cheeseburger part... I looked at my receipt, and low and behold, I was charged for the PPCB... Again, I assume they were new employees training, but even so, these mistakes were big ones... Frosty tastes wonderful! It's the staff who lack any sort of personality or sense of humor that brings it way down for me.

We come here often cause it's quick and near our house. The food here is usually okay for fast food. Tonight however they failed to give us a receipt and get our order right. We didn't realize till we got home we were missing one of our fries. The only reason I didn't rank this lower is because when I called and spoke to the manager on duty (Liz) she address the issue and apologized. I explained the situation so she asked did I want to come back tonight or another time. I told her another time. So she said all I would have to do was tell them I spoke to her and show them my receipt. When I explained to her they didn't give me one, even after I asked the employee if I had to sign anything since I payed by credit card. She apologized again and told me to come back next time and just tell them she said she would give me a whole combo meal free. I asked her if she wanted my name so there would be no issue when I come back. She said it's not necessary just come down. So at this point, we will have to see when I do make it back. read more

Waiting to get to the Drive-Thru window there are no menus. When you finally reach the window half of the menu is blocked by the speaker and more of it is blocked by the signage posts. So you have to either get out of the car to read it or you have to move the car a couple times. This means you can't really order quickly and you have to ask a questions about the items. Finally you get up to the window to get your food and the server smiles and says "Pull up to the next window please." NOT FUNNY! There is no next window so you have to park and go inside to pick up your food. Eventually you get your food only to find it has something that you really dislike so you have to return it. read more

I'm NOT easily impressed - at all. New to the country again. Wendy's at this location is the only hamburger restaurant, or any restaurant, to have cokes, Sprite, and Orange Fanta - that tastes fresh and bubbly as they should. Most importantly, this Wendy's had the BEST hamburger I've eaten in the year I have been on Oahu. My new favorite place. I came her Sunday evening to pick up some dinner for my family and the girl taking my order was very rude to me as I was asking questions about the menu. As if she was trying to intimidate me with her "im having a bad day attitude" every time I asked a question she would give me a rushed answer and then when I would ask her to repeat it because she was speaking to fast she would say it back even faster and with a sigh of annoyance. if you're having a bad day maybe don't work the window. We went through the drive-thru, made our order, and paid. They asked us to wait out front for our order, so we did. Not too long after, a friendly young boy brought us our food. Fast forward, we decided to sit and eat in the parking lot. I realized they hadn't given us straws but we weren't going back to the window for that. Anyways, no biggie. Moving on, while we are sitting in this parking lot, eating .. we seen a lot of different characters. Someone asked our friend to use his phone. Few workers have gone in and out to take smoke breaks, 2 other employees lounging around in the dining area, and the list goes on. A few more workers come and go, these two other boys came outside playing their music very loud. Mind you, my window is down and we are 2 stalls away from their front door. Those boys go inside and a few more workers come and go. One employee was a female and was basically yelling across the parking lot how she was annoyed, to another worker. She goes back in and out comes these 2 other people while a car pulled up to them and they were talking about giving discount to them and told them to proceed to the drive-thru window... wth? As I'm writing this, another car has pulled up and a worker is standing by the door telling the people to hurry And make their order (must be his friends because he just let someone go into the bathroom and the other person is talking to the worker). Yeauh, someone needs to teach these kids how to behave and not to treat this place like their high school hang out spot!!!! This is appalling.... therefore 2 stars. last night a friend and i went there for dinner.. location is ok but the service last night took over 15min to get our food and the worse part someone else b4 us got their order b4 we got ours.....what is wrong with that and the worse part was when the cashier ask where is the other order and one of the cook told the cashier what order now this is another thing that was not right and they had about 6 people and only one cashier and it was getting to the dinner crowd and the manager saw that but she only kept one of the 2 register open.....and another thing the flatbread limited grilled is nothing special they only had like 2 or 3 pieces of grilled chicken it's not really worth the price.....more sauce than meat.......but with all the help they had last night the service should have been less time for my date and i to receive our food....... read more

I came through the drive thru around 10:30 pm and there were a few cars in front of me. When I pulled up to the speaker a man came up to my window asking me for money I told him I didn't have any that if he wanted food I could order him something. He the asked me to come home with me. I politely decline and he tried to open my doors of my car anyways. When I got to the window and expressed my concerns all the work did was laugh and take my card. I would of appreciated if a little bit of concern from them. I mean there's a man that right outside of their building harassing people who are trying to get food. The same man tried to open my car doors while I was trying to leave the parking lot too. The food was typical fast food which I wanted but the experience just wasn't great. read more

Beware people of Honolulu. My hubby and I were out shopping today when I got a craving for a Baconator, so we stopped by Wendy's (store # 10751 in Pearl City). We should have left as soon as we arrived due to the over whelming smell of urine, but we stuck it out. We got there at about 1105 and finally placed our order (7 people were ahead of us) at 1138. There was no ice in the dispenser, the Fanta orange was out of syrup and when I went up to ask them to fill it with the drive through soda machine they did, but said it needed syrup and they were sorry and that was that, didn't offer to fix it or anything...all I could think was poor drive through people who weren't getting what they wanted drink wise. When our order was finally called, one burger and one fry was missing which I let her know and she finally got for us. Food was ok, but not as good as I've had at other Wendy's. we were there for about 35 minutes and ice was never corrected in the lobby dispenser, nor was the pop, not to mention the line was longer and moving even more slowly. As we were leaving my husband wanted to wash his hands so I waited for him, when he got out he told me that they were gross and he'd seen cleaner Johnny on the Spots!! Do not go near closing time! I've gone to this location twice one hour before closing time. The first time, they told me they couldn't make a frosty because "we're closing soon" (in an hour) and the second time, ALL of my food was cold--nuggets, burgers, everything. At least put it in the microwave and try to make it seem like you give a crap about quality! Service was trashy when my family and I went there! When we ordered drive-thru, the man taking our order didn't take it correctly! Not only that but it felt the employee serving us didn't even know what we were saying! They charged us for 2 fries, in which we ordered. But guess what? We got charged double for only one order of fries! Honestly outrageous! Another thing, we ordered the frosties they had, yet they didn't provide us with straws or even spoons for them! Usually, other fast food chains provide at least a spoon for eating ice cream. Besides that, I ordered the chicken nuggets, which turned out to be very salty! I also asked for a honey mustard sauce, which they didn't even provide us! To add on, from the fries that we ordered, it was very dry and bland! Not even a pinch of salt added! Had to suffer the night with eating very salty nuggets and bland fries without a sauce to balance!
